Simplicity at its finest is NOT what i would depict how my life was, nor would i suggest the continuation of my naivety however, as my life escalates into complexity, i hope to keep my optimistic hindsight on life in order to live. Just live. My personal ordeal is to live with no regrets, as though i will die tomorrow. I follow the path that will lead me to who I want to be: someone who people can confide in, to go to when they are in their deepest hour; that's who I want to be. That is my aim in life. Hobbies and interests make my path more flamboyant and enticing, while my family, pet, and friends are the reasons for my existence; the reasons why i try and improve myself. My lack of self motivation for change may be quite obvious, but it doesn't mean that improvement did not occur. It may be so petite, so small, that it's practically invisible, but i guarantee you, i do try. Indefinitely.

classic nintendo 64

3O12O9 - Joes's 18th Birthday.
3112O9 - Cindy T.'s & Annie T.'s 18th Birthday. HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!

Yesterday, Vicky, Minhky, Michael and I went to Joes's house to celebrate his 18th birthday =D YAY! Vicky made him an omlette and bought him a sponge cake =D!!! Danny wasn't about to come, until Vicky and Michael managed to persuade him to come ;D good on you guys! I guess reverse psychology DO work =).

For the whole day we were playing games like street fighter, a cheap Asian version of jenga, Mario games, chess and Pictonary =D YAY! We also did some youtubing and watched some television; I'm sorry to say but 'The Cleveland show' is just a ripe off from Family Guy. The baby just wasn't as awesome as Stewie man! Stewie FTW!!! But you know what? Joes is AWESOME because he still have the Nintendo 64 console, which they don't sell anymore, and it actually still works! I have one too, but it's stopped working ages ago *sigh*. Oddly enough, he has only one control for it, like me... I shall bring my conroller one day and we shall play with two players on it =D. But honestly, he sure has a LOT of games and controllers for his PS2, which is apparently broken ... what a shame lol =P. Anyways, for dinner, we had pizza, chips, soft drinks and cheese cake ;D junk food much?

Oh and have you guys heard about 'Pythagoras Switch'? According to the Japanese, it is pronounced as Pi-tha-gor-as Su-i-cci. If it weren't for Michael, I don't think I would've known that it existed! It's like a chain reaction hobby type of thing =D. Please look for it on youtube =D; this is a link you can go to for a start =). It even has its own jingle hahaha! How awesome is that?! Another thing to watch on youtube is 'I want to be that guy' LOL! It's about this guy and his epic journey through this ridiculously hard game LOL. This is the link to watch it from =D. Yes... we did a LOT of youtubing hahaha!

Anyways, that's about it for now =D. HAPPY 18th BIRTHDAY to JOES, CINDY and ANNIE!!! Enjoy it to the fullest, because we only turn 18 once in our lives xD!!!

hippies, gangsters and nerds

I recently just left Cindy's 18th birthday party WOOT!!! The theme was to dress up as either a gangster, a hippie or a nerd. I think most of us dressed up as a hippie xD hippies ftw!!! I would like to apologise to Cindy for not giving her a present just yet. Unfortunately, there are certain factors which are obstructing me from eBaying a dress for her and hence, I've decided to chip in with Derek instead *sigh* ... LOL! I hope I'm not too late xO!

My Hippie outfit =).

Back to the party. It sure is lucky to have a chef as a father because the food were sure delicious! It's a shame I couldn't eat more because I was too busy playing games hahaha! Andrew and Derek brought PS2 games over, which includes: Simpsons Road Rage; Tekken; Guitar Hero; and another driving game which I don't know the name of =). I think Tekken is the BEST game to play at a party. Why? Because whether you're the person playing or watching, everyone gets so excited and they start screaming like hell LOL! Hong D. was the funniest when she plays because she just screams at everything LOL! Jen R.D. and Derek were actually pretty good players =D They were pretty hard to beat *coughgamfreakscough* LOL! Michael's another gamer as well LOL he's practically a pro at almost every single game that's available at Time Zone since he goes there a lot. He even came 7th in the Guitar Hero competition at Time Zone. He was actually wearing a 'finalist' t-shirt to the party today lol =D I bow to you man, you're too pro xD.

Gangster, nerd and hippie; one of each =D.

Groupie photos; friends who loves Cindy =). (Plus more!)

Now that I think back, I have no idea why we even bought aluminum foil LOL! Eric, Derek and I went to Woolworths to buy some aluminum foil to "protect ourselves from aliens" *cough*. Yeah... it was fun while it lasted =). I guess it was pretty much hanging around, eating, playing, meeting new people and catching up with each other at Cindy's place. Though it was fun most of the time, the feeling of getting hit in the head, with a golf club, by Vicky was a NOT so fun moment. That's okay hahaha I'm used to injuries anyways ;). Then came the birthday cake YAY!!! It was an ice-cream cookies and cream birthday cake with a picture of My Little Pony =D. I liked it xD but I think i prefer the boysenberry flavour over the cookies and creams flavour for ice cream =). Then came the gifts =D everyone had such cool gifts for Cindy, like Kim's painting, Andrew H.'s Pekingese, 6 weeks old, male dog Piglet, Maxine's home-made croquembouche and Melissa's scrapbook xD they were all awesome presents =D Cindy must've been overjoyed! Then it was group photo time WOOT WOOT! It was funny when Stephanie said "I'm wetting your ball!" because she was leaning on Cindy's green fluffy pillow-like ball, against the green grass. LOL! It was just amusing the way she said it xD.

PIGLET !!!

Cindy's My Little Pony ice cream cake =).

No more cake xO! Viausto you pig LOL!

Groupie =).

After that was just more hanging around and stuff. For the rest of the night, I was with a group of friends upstairs, in Cindy's room, playing spin the bottle and just talking =) however, we had the lights turned off to make it more convenient for Piglet to sleep. HE'S OH SO CUTE xD!!! I also had a go at that electrocuting-thingamabob. There are four sticks which each player holds on to;  the light in the middle will begin to flash red; you press on the button on your stick when it turns green and whoever was the slowest to press it gets electrocuted. I've only played it once, but I don't think I want to play it again lol. Wendy was actually quite funny with her questions and quotes eg. "QUEENSLAND". Rather than swearing, she replace them with the word Queensland LOL! And Shirley, rather than saying 20/20 vision, she accidentally said 40/40 vision LOL! It was also hilarious to watch Minhky squirm under our interrogation with his current girlfriend, Rosalyn LOL!

I know it's not actually Cindy's birthday today, because it's actually on NYE, but I'll say it anyways:
HAPPY 18TH BIRTHDAY CINDY! Never change yourself because we all LOVE you just the way you are =D. Keep smiling because it always make my day! Words cannot describe what and how I think of you because this feeling of gratitude and thankfulness that you give me is indescribable. I can go on and on about how I am feeling but I'll never be able to reach the end because you, Cindy, are indefinitely, undoubtedly, perpetually worth more than all the words in the world; you ARE the definition of those words. If you ask me what kind of person you are Cindy, I'll reply as "Cindy, you are a Cindy." I know I can provide millions of complimentary words to describe you, so I won't. I'll just type 18 words because it's your 18th birthday. Here it goes: genuine; generous; resilient; positive; benevolent; sympathetic; thoughtful; enthusiastic; intelligent; beautiful inside and out; clumsily adorable; independent; happy-go-lucky; patient; tolerant; lovable; worthy; priceless. I'm blessed to have you walk into my life and even more grateful to have you as a friend. I wish to be able to enjoy the rest of life with you by my side =) and hence, I want to grow old with you Cindy. I LOVE YOU ;D !!!

Cindy, the birthday girl =3.

Cindy and her boyfriend, Andrew =).

I'll say it again when it really IS her birthday =D. Anyways, that's it for now =D bye everyone!

PS. Thanks David, Hanh Hong, Charles and Anne for the photos =).
PSS. I can't believe bothered to spend approx. 2 hours to tag all the group photos, with approx. 20+ people in every one of them =.=" FML.
PSSS. How cool are Katherine's shoes =D ?!?!?!

myth of mistletoe

Have you ever wonder what the myth about the mistletoe custom, which occurs every year during the Christmas season? I have. So I've done some light research on it. From link 1, link 2 and link 3,  apparently the myth of kissing under mistletoe was a combination of the ancient Scandinavian custom and a Norse myth, the myth of Baldur. The Scandinavian custom was
"It was also the plant of peace in Scandinavian antiquity. If enemies met by chance beneath it in a forest, they laid down their arms and maintained a truce until the next day."
 The myth of Baldur was
Baldur's mother was the Norse goddess, Frigga. When Baldur was born, Frigga made each and every plant, animal and inanimate object promise not to harm Baldur. But Frigga overlooked the mistletoe plant -- and the mischievous god of the Norse myths, Loki, took advantage of this oversight. Ever the prankster, Loki tricked one of the other gods into killing Baldur with a spear fashioned from mistletoe. The demise of Baldur, a vegetation deity in the Norse myths, brought winter into the world, although the gods did eventually restore Baldur to life. After which Frigga pronounced the mistletoe sacred, ordering that from now on it should bring love rather than death into the world.
And hence, people kiss under the mistletoe as a symbolic way of showing peace and love. In other cultures, like the French, the Anglo-Saxons and the ancient Celtic Druids, it's symbolism may vary slightly. This includes friendship; fertility; goodwill; promise of marriage; happiness and long life.

the three musketeers

So I went to the city to see Jessica and Nathan again after haven't I seen them for a couple of months. I finally managed to give Nathan his birthday present, and both of them apparently had a birthday present each for me xD what a nice surprise! Jessica's present was an owl necklace and a card, both hand-made xD (unfortunately, the chain broke off as I was taking my shirt off. It's so fragile! Hence, I changed it with another necklace chain of mine instead =D). That was so sweet of her, and it looks quite pretty too awww! Initially, I was wondering if she really did make it or bought it because it was in a pretty box as well LOL! Hand-made things are the best! Nathan gave me a baby Milo t-shirt, which he bought from overseas. The price tag was still on it saying $150 *gasps* but I asked Nathan and he said it was just in the currency he bought it in. I don't know where he bought it, but it's made from Japan =D. Thanks for the gifts you guys! I really liked them!

 Jessica's hand-made card and necklace =D.

Nathan's present, front and back =P.

The whole day, we just went shopping around for things since it was the last day of Christmas sales *sigh* it's a shame because Nathan told me about his camera, sold at the Sony shop, which has rechargeable batteries for $128. It was suppose to be about $200, but since it's Christmas, they reduced the price *sigh* NOOOO!

I had a nice time talking to both of them *sigh* I sure miss them a lot because I don't seem them often. I would like to congratulate Jessica on her success with romance ;D hahaha she's been working really hard on it =D so I'm happy that she finally achieved what she wanted to achieve =D. Damn, my friends a slowly pairing off *sigh*. Oh, and to Nathan, have a fun and safe trip overseas =D remember to bring me back a souvenir! Anyways, that's about it for today, I sure hope I'll see them soon!

PS. Thanks for the icecream you guys =D.
PSS. Sticky tape isn't going to last me long... i needa fix my glasses properly xO

Christmas Cheer

 MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!

This year's Christmas was somewhat different from my other Christmases because this year my group of friends and I celebrated it in a non-Asian way. It was especially special because for every one of us, it was our first time having a Christmas dinner with friends =D. I was able to spend my Christmas with Kelly, Minhky, Vicky, Joes, Maxine, Michael and Danny. Unfortunately, Eric, Sarina and Vincent L. couldn't make it due to certain circumstances =/. There's always next year =D!

We spent about half the day making the food, which consisted of salad, mash potatoes with corn and sultanas, pasta, tea, coke, boiled carrots and a stuffed turkey =D! The turkey turned out to be quite a big deal =D. When everything was placed on the table, the turkey was last to come out and when it did, we were all cheering and clapping (on Kelly's command) YAY! To be honest, turkey tastes like chicken. Then again, lots of things taste like chicken... We each made a toast for our Christmas dinner and undoubtedly, Danny made the best toast out of all of us: This is my Christmas dinner with you guys. How sweet was that xD? I wished I helped more with the cooking instead of just taking photos xO but it was quite fun playing with Maxine's and Michael's camera, seeing that I dont possess one ... *sigh*. For pictures, please visit Maxine's blog for a view =).

We played uno for a while, but it was a shame that Maxine and Michael had to leave early =/ awww! But hopefully, we'll be seeing them for the NYE outing =). After they left, Danny and Kelly gave us some musical tutorings on the guitar and piano =D! After a while, we just rotated between youtube and the musical instruments hahaha. Unfortunately, I stupidly sat on Kelly's glass table and broke it T___T I'M SO SORRY KELLY!!! What's worse was the fact that it was passed on to them from a deceased relative T_____T! I'm the worse! Kelly was so nice to forgive me, and was actually more worried about my safety than the table AARGH! Why am I so clumsy?! I thought my night would stay like that, depressing and rueful, but thanks to Joes, it cheered me up. Apparently, Joes bought us girls some gifts; Kelly and Vicky sunglasses, while me a box of ferrero rocher =D. We almost finished the box in one day! Again, thanks Joes, for the present, Kelly, for the hospitality, and everyone for celebrating Christmas with me =D.

The next day, Boxing Day, I spent it at Minhky's house with Kelly, Vicky, Eric and Joes. Nothing much actually happened though; we just talked, played uno junga, DDR'ed on PS2 and went to buy pizza at Canley Vale. We said hi to a few friends there because they were working there. Lucky bums xO I want to work! Anyways, I think I had the most fun during the uno junga game ROFLMAOS! It was just EPIC! Since it got boring after the first few rounds, we made it more interesting by making each other laugh by saying random things; the first one to laugh had to pull 2 uno stacks out and if it tumbles, they get slapped. Initially, it was hard, especially for Vicky and I, because we kept on laughing, but the sentences became more ridiculous, and now I think we're all immune to funny things... for the meantime anyways LOL (whales can't swim, squirrels, dragon, colours - HAHAHA, etc). I think we all got tired from laughing, because I sure did. But, as they say, laughter is the best medicine. I would like to thank Eric for the Yoshie plushie present, and Vicky's parents for driving me home =). That's it for now, MERRY CHRISTMAS everyone and enjoy your holidays! Ciao!

I call him Boshi because he's blue =).

PS. Mimi sure got bigger. Oh so CUTE xD!

surprise at the door

2212O9 - Nathan L.'s 18th Birthday.
2512O9 - Paul T.'s 18th Birthday.
2612O9 - Sarah I.'s 18th Birthday.

So after another hour's worth of driving, I came home and look! A couple of presents waiting for me in front of the door! I practically squealed in glee when I saw my name on it =D. Apparently, Vicky, My Linh and Linh separately came to visit me but seeing that I wasn't home, they left the presents at my door instead =D. Vicky gave me a bag of home-made, gingerbread man cookies (with my name spelt out on them!) and dry seaweed (A/N: I was actually craving for some seaweed. Wet would've been more preferable, but it's still the same hahaha!), and My Linh and Linh gave me a belated birthday present/Christmas present of a photo book of dogs which included some doggie quotes =D. THANK YOU VERY MUCH! That was so thoughtful and sweet of them xD. I'm really touched by  them xD. I REALLY liked the presents because I feel like they were such meaningful and thoughtful presents. I will cherish and remember them! It was a shame that I wasn't home at that time, SORRY! But thank you so much for bothering to come over and giving me gifts xD. MAY YOU HAVE A VERY HAPPY CHRISTMAS!!!

From Vicky!!!

From My Linh and Linh!!!

PS. I finally finished watching the series of Exploration of the Human Body (EHB) with Super Junior YAY! 13 episodes of laughter, amusement and education is finally over!

a celebrity for a cousin

2112O9 - Cheryl's 18th Birthday. HAPPY BIRTHDAY =D!!!

Newsletter clipping - William Huynh, 2nd from the right.

CONGRATULATIONS William 哥哥 !!! We're very proud of you =D. This is the 2nd time that he's been in the newspaper/newsletter =D. First time was about something regarding to the HSC; this time he is awarded for being the Best Registrar Teacher. My cousins sure are smart *sigh* (William 哥哥 - 99.85% UAI ; Marina 姐姐 - 98.75% UAI). I know I'm not as smart as them and to be honest, I used to look up to Marina. Not as much as before, but I still do =) because she's smart, pretty, tall and hardworking. If you're wondering why I call them older brother and sister instead of cousins, it's because that we're really close to one another and my aunt's family have helped my mum and I numerous of times. As a family, we are in debt to them, but we're also thankful and grateful for what they've done for us =). I think, if they weren't there, I would be having a part of me missing. Family is always family =).

Anyways, today's driving lesson was reversing, reverse parking and 3-point turns. I'm still quite sharp with my turns, but I believe with a daily routine of practices, I'll be a pro in no time xD. That's it for today =D. Take care, stay healthy and be happy everyone =D.

Carols in the Domain

1912O9 - Tu's 18th Birthday.
2O12O9 - Alice P.'s 17th; Lisa M.'s 18th; Ray's 18th Birthday. HAPPY BIRTHDAY you guys!

So I guess we've learnt our lesson about going to Carols in the Domain; always come early for large events. Seeing it was the first time for all of us, it was no surprise that we would be taking refuge far away from the stage. Unfortunately, we couldn't even see the screens either, with all the trees in the way. Initially it bothered us but having each others' company made the situation better =). It didn't really matter than we couldn't see or hear the stage properly because we all had fun just eating, singing, toasting about random things with our candles, pranking people, swapping cameras around, dancing and playing around with one another.

Alice, Vicky and I.

 Vicky, me and Michael.

I liked playing with the candles most, even though I got burnt by it. "Never play with fire" didn't apply to Alice because she was fully raving and flinging her candle stick around ROFLS! Alas, after a while karma finally hit her with wax xD but then again, we all experienced the same thing as well, even if we weren't raving like Alice. Besides learning to go early next time, we learnt that we should bring more mats because sitting on newspaper, as Asian as it sounds, it's not a great idea when you have us playing with fire.

Alice and Maxine.

Angela.

Perverted Santa, David Le?

Maxine and Stephanie.

Another thing, MLC's $15 Christmas carol bags was oddly assorted; there were pet food, toiletries, cleaning things, foods, hats, dvds, car wax and a lot of other things LOL! Were they expecting us to camp there for the night or something? They were generous enough to even think about our pets and cars LOL. Unfortunately, they weren't generous enough to provide us bottles of water, or maybe there just wasn't enough space for one with all those other things in it as well.

Thanks to the group next to us for letting us borrow a packet of cards to play Mafia =D. I think people are nicer during Christmas xD That's another reason why I like Christmas so much =D I mean, how can you not? With all the festivals, the decorations, the sentiments which are attached to this festive season, the weather, etc. xD

We didn't stay up til the end, but we stayed long enough to see the fireworks. One word: short. WAY too short!!! It didn't even last for 30 seconds! If I could, I'd write them a letter of requests; I would like more screens, water bottles and mats provided IN the Christmas carol bags and longer fireworks. Overall, it's a good learning experience =D. We shall go there next year, but this time we'll be more prepared for it xD!

Before I finish today's blog post, I would to make a comment about driving. Thank you Mimi's brother (Andrew) for driving us home =D, but it is just too hilarious and dangerous when you drive. What happened was that when Vicky is dropped off first, she walked in front of the car. Andrew, assuming that she was going to walk behind the car, drove off. Of course Vicky's okay because he braked before anything could happen. He said his foot was on the brake, but seriously... THAT WAS TOO SCARY! I think we all had our heats skip a beat when we thought Vicky was going to get hit rofls! Thank God nothing happened! I think he needs more driving lessons LOL. Just joking, he's not a that bad of a driver =) but having more practice won't hurt, especially at night xD.

 Me, Mimi, Stephanie and Vicky.

Stephanie, Vicky and Shirley.

Me and Mimi.

PS. Thanks Maxine, David, Mimi and Melissa for letting us scab food from your bags xD.
PSS. Thanks David L., Maxine and Shirley L. for the photos =).
PSSS. After almost a year, I finally went driving again today! It's sad to know that my driving skills became worse, but no worries! I'll just have to drive more often now since I have the time =D.

last farewell

From 12PM - 2PM, I was at my school's FREE BBQ made especially for us =). Obviously, besides for the free food, the other reason was to know how the rest of us went. Of course it's a bit irritating for some people. It'd be nice if people actually tell you their marks once you told them yours =). No, I'm not one of those annoyed people. SIFF anyone, besides my friends, actually want to know what mark I got LOL! Apparently, for our school, there are 32 students who achieved an ATAR over 90% and 30 students who achieved an ATAR between 89% - 80% (A/N: I'd thank the person called 'statistics' but I don't know who they are. Thanks anyways =D) I'm happy to say I'm in that minority (*!.&%); that I deserved to be there since Mr. Donohue DID say that everyone should be there especially the ones who got 80%+. I'm happy, as well as proud, to know that most of my friends did exceptionally well =D so CONGRATULATIONS! People can be SO smart xO! I was starting to feel a bit down about my mark... NO WORRIES! My mum was SO happy that she cried! That's good enough for me because I want to make her smile again, and have faith in me =D! Apparently, Vincent P. received the highest ATAR from our school (99.25) so CONGRATULATIONS to him! Also, our grade seemed to have beat last year's grade in the HSC overall =), so that's another good news. It's nice to see my friends again and to be able to catch up with everyone else =D. If only more people came. I guess today was my last farewell to the school *sigh*.

C.V.H.S in the local newspaper WOOT!
By 6:30PM, I met up with some friends (ex-seftoners+Kelly+Minhky+Michael), to eat hot pot at Canley Heights. It was SO worth it! It was an all you can eat buffet hot pot for $19.95 only! How good a deal was that?! I wished Eric and Cindy stayed longer though =/. *sigh* Don't you just love food? There was pipi/clams, mussles, cow stomach, fishballs, vegetables, meat, etc. =D *drools*. I didn't have any dessert because honestly, I'm not a huge fan of Asian desserts LOL! Before I forget, there was an incent on our table (since we took up 2 tables) involving Kelly. In our language, it would be that 'she did a Fiona' (yes, my name is a noun now). So the conversation went like this:

Kenneth: Does gum stay in your stomach if you swallow it?
Andrew: aksdj;jfjkdaja;skldf
During Andrews reply...
Fiona: What did he say? *pointing to Kenneth*
Kelly: I think he said does cum stay in the girl's stomach if she swallowed it.
Kelly, who initially had confidence in her hearing, went pale as she watched Fiona arched her eyebrow, an even more confused look on her face.
Fiona: What?!
Kenneth: What did you say?
Andrew: She said cum a;lskdjf;ajdfjd!
Everyone starts laughing. Fiona laughed so hard that she fell of her chair. David came over and picked her chair, then picked her up. He tried to calm her down but she continued laughing. After that incident, Kenneth kept on reminding Kelly about the 'gum.'

I don't think Kenneth's going to this go with Kelly LOL! Strangely enough, although Edim was there, he didn't hear a word of that conversation LOL! He must've been concerntrating really hard on eating. After dinner, everyone went their separate ways. Half of us went home, while the other half went to Derek's house to play mahjong. I'd like to go, but I didn't have a ride there, or back. Hence, I walked home instead =). It's okay, I'm pretty tired anyways, and I'll be seeing them again tomorrow YAY!

Groupie.

PS. Thanks Mr. Donohue for barbequeing the sausages =D. I brought home a pack of creaming soda cans MWAHAHAHA!!!
PSS. Thanks David for helping me up my chair again LOL!
PSSS. Thanks Kelvin and Hanh-Hong for the pictures =).

celebratory walk

We, as in Vicky, Eric, Michael and I, all did a celebratory walk along the Harbour Bridge to rejoice for finally receiving our ATAR. I believed we all did pretty well and that this outing was a way of treating ourselves; relieving ourselves from the stress and paranoia. After our well deserved walk, we finally went to Customs House (A/N: I remembered how I actually thought it was Michael's friend, seeing he DID say 'custom's my best mate.' Obviously, I missed the sarcasm. It was only until later on when Vicky pointed out the building that I realised it was a joke =.= and I was wondering what a strange name Custom was for a name). If you click on the link, you'll see that it actually serves a lot of functions: restaurant, library, function room, exhibition, etc. There was even a model of Sydney below the floor! How awesome is that?! Although the outside looked antique like, the inside was quite modernized =).

So Eric and I separated from Michael and Vicky; we went to watch the sunset while they went back to Townhall  to play DJ Max. During those 2 hours, according to Vicky, they just took a shuttle bus back and went to play DJ Max. For us, we went exploring Centennial Park, looking at the various fauna and flora (which includes baby ducks and bats =D), and the Domain, where we were watching part of the rehersals, before heading back to Vicky and Michael.

Norita Cafe & Board Games was our next destination. Okay, so we had Pepper Lunch, then Pancakes on the Rocks, and now Norita's. So we get to play Janga, listen to Korean music AND watch Supernatural (old episodes) but I never got to eat seaweed! I was bloody craving for it the whole day! *sigh* I need to thank Eric for shouting me icecream anyways. Must really want me to be forever in his debt or something! Again, thanks to Vicky's parents for driving me home =D. OKAY! Time for the next blog post =).

PS. Attempting to sleep in a car, when the road is bumpy, is NOT a good idea.
PSS. Thanks Eric for the horse plushie =).

burdens off my shoulders

Finally, the 2OO9 A.T.A.R results is released today at 9AM. Congratulations to many people who did really well, and good luckies to those who still haven't seen theirs yet. As for me, I think I did well =D because I got over 80%. Although it is not my ideal aim, but I'm already really thankful that I actually got this mark. Unfortunately, our school did not make it to the top 100 schools, but overall I believe our school did well (according to Mr. Donohue anyways =D). The long wait is finally over; the burdens lifted from our shoulders. For those who are coming tomorrow for the free school BBQ lunch, I'll see you later; for those who aren't coming, I bid you farewell and good luckies with your lives =). May you find happiness in the end.

our last presentation day

1512O9 - Christine N's 18th Birthday. HAPPY BIRTHDAY CHRISTINE =)!

Today was my final Presentation Day for high school. As usual, the assembly was long and tedious and Mr. Mahony's 10 - 15 minutes speech did NOT help one bit however, there were some funny incidents during the event. The string ensemble had to play their piece thrice the time before the official party finally entered the hall LOL! How awkward was that? Then there was the recipient jokes made by Daryll and Chiv; Chiv's let's-all-stand-but-I'll-stay-seated-and-watch-you-embarrass-yourself prank; the emphasis of Chiv's award is a service award, and not an academics award; the mockery of the 7th graders' musical composition and the hiding of Antony's award. I would like to congratulate everyone on getting an award, especially the 12th graders =). Here are the year12 special award recipients:
  • Caltex Best All Rounder Award : Jenny Ky
  • Mammoliti Award : David Chiv
  • Reuben F Scarf Award : Jason Songsataporn
  • Jason Clare Award : Kelly Huynh II

OH! Guess what! I'm going to go driving again! YAY! It was more than half away ago since I drove. I'm actually quite scared for the next few days - HSC results and ATAR results xO!!! Wish me luck!!! I hope I did well enough!!!

PS. Thanks Jenny for the chocolate =D!

proud gamer

I'm not much of a professional gamer since I prefer playing anything, even if I do suck down to hell, but yes, I am proud to say that this is my best record so far in the game Osu. So I did some As and rarely any Ss, and that this is not the best accuracy I've ever done BUT seeing that this is on a normal speed fast beat map, with a max. combo of 552 and an accuracy percentage of 92.46% (rank B) and my highest score in this game, so far, of 495225, you've got to admit, I just KICKED ASS xD!!! And apparently I am now ranked #29 on this game out of all of those people who played this game. I am feeling SO good right now xD!

xmas party

Saturday was Eric's family had a family Christmas dinner and it was nice of him to invite his friends along =D. Don't you just LOVE Christmas xD I guess we were pretty much awestruck by the size of his grandma's house O_O! There were 3 parts to the house, and there was even a house for his kitchen! Well.. the size of a house anyways =). The size of the fish tank also fascinated us... and hence began the strange imaginations of what can be done in fish tank that size *coughbathmurderwhalesleepcough*.

FOOD =D!
Of course you have to have fun at a party =D so how did we entertain ourselves? Taboo, trampoline, ball games, KARAOKE, water fights, sparkle bombs. I think i lost my voice... or lost the ability to sing anyways because I was screaming so much. I think that's pretty much the same with everyone else LOL! Also, jumping on the trampoline, at night, and being sprayed at, is quite... refreshing? HAHAHA! There was a variety food too and Kelly was nice enough to bring mash potatoes and gravy =D the mash would've taste better as a salad seeing it was cold and the gravy.. no comment ... It's the though that counts anyway! Frankie came back to us  too =D ... or his relatives anyways O_o'. SANTA came in during karaoke xD it was funny to see the kids rejecting him as being Santa, yet still hang around him for the presents. Okay, I was also being a doofus... but hey, I'm sure we all have our blonde moments every once in a while =) (beleiving that O8:88 exists and American National Anthem = christmas carol). It was also hilarious to see Kenneth chuck food rages during dinner, and the 'malaysia' joke became twice as funny when Cindy finally understood the joke LOL!

I'm charging my laser = I'm in charge of malaysia. Kenneth (King of Malaysia LOL!)
Kenneth, Shirley and Mimi.
Michael, Vicky and Cindy singing their hearts out xD.
KARAOKE!!!
Shirley and me with Kenneth and Derek in the background LOL!

Shirley, Vicky and Minhky playing Taboo =).
Minhky and Cindy =) peace out!

Gradually, people began leaving when we started playing Taboo again =( it was a tie =D. Next was the trip to the next street, which we stupidly took the long way round, to light the sparkle bomb. There were a few banterings here and there about where to light it, why or why not, etc. It was not until we reached the end of the street, in front of an empty house, before we got tired and just lit the damn thing! I wish it sparkled longer, but it was still worth it =D.

It's a shame that people missed uot on the Frodo ice cream cake! Okay, so we used our mouths, than the spoons, but the it was fun! It's interesting how we starting talking about the quickest and most effective way of eating icecream: biting the bottom of the cone and sucking the ice cream in, then eat the cone. I shall try that one day =). HAHAHA Eric actually used a piece of watermelon to spoon his icecream LOL! Creative ;).

As usual, it was past midnight before I went home, thanks to Vicky's parents again. I sure feel like I'm being inconvenient to them xO. Overall, the party sure was fun and it was nice get together with all my friends =D. Thanks Eric, and his family, for inviting us to be a part of your family Christmas party. I definitely enjoyed it, and I'm sure everyone else did =).

Eric the host =).
PS. OMG! Eric's Grandma's place have 3 dogs!!! CUTE xD!!!
PSS. Brian, Eric's brother, looks a LOT like him!
PSSS. Thanks Cindy for the photos.

mexican food

I'm kind of tired today, so I'll make this brief. Today, I met up with Eric to go walking around Parramatta since the others were watching a movie (either Twilight or Where the Wild things are). After a couple of hours of bumming around, we met up with the others. I'll just call them the ex-seftoners beacuse I was the only non-seftoner there =). Then at around 6PM we went to eat at Montezuma's, a Mexican restaurant. Let's just say, there was a lot beans in the food. The tacos and nachos weren't bad, and the Mexicans surer love their salad because there was a bowl of it for ever dish we ordered. Go vegetables =). That's about it I guess =). Side note: today was 38 degrees today and I heard tomorrow is going to be just as hot, or even hotter! I know I like summer but seriously... *sighs*

Before I sign off I would like to give a shout out to MInhky: CONGRATULATIONS ON MAKING IT INTO ARTEXPRESS!!! A DEFINITE BAND 6 ON VISUAL ARTS MATE! ONE DOWN, 4 MORE TO GO!!!

PS. This is the first time I've seen Cindy in god's know how long xD YAY!

the prawns got pwn'd

I should've had the rendezvous later in the afternoon since practically half the group was late anyways. Our first stop was Kinokuniya, which apparently experienced some rearrangements with the books, and then to JB Hi-5 and food court. OMG PS2 for $99 at JB Hi-5 EVERYONE!!! There we met up with Michael.

Onwards to Time Gone, and to Shirley L.! Apparently, Mimi never DDR'd before and as a first-timer she was pretty good! There were actually quite a few other things Mimi haven't tried yet (32cm ice cream, Pepper Lunch, etc.) so we shall take her to the city again and show her all the things she's been missing out xD!

Us at Show karaoke.

During our 2 hour worth of karaoke at Show, Mimi left us =( BUT we met up with Eric =). Afterward, we headed out to our main purpose of the city outing yesterday: HOT POT! Honestly, I had a short nap during karaoke because I was low on energy. I can't help it! I was hungry xO! I digress. Anyways , back to hot pot! The food wasn't bad, and we all were having lots of fun playing around with it anyways *coughprawnscough*. After Eric's "would you eat those prawns if they could scream.." I don't think we can look at prawns the same way anymore; "ZE GOGGLES! ZEY DO NUTHING!", "Frankie!" and "Welcome to my life" anyone? Okay, maybe not me because I really like prawns =D. The boys also seem to be quite fascinated by the utensils used for hot pot. Of course, some of us got burnt for the sake of our entertainment, but what the heck =) it wasn't so bad. I felt bad for Vicky because we were all eating food from the hot pot, while she had this dish, though it was delicious =D! I wish chose a wider variety of food; more vegetables and wider range of meat since most of the meat was seafood ^____^' I guess that was my fault since I liked seafood the most...

Us at hot pot.
Our monument of Frankie the prawn...

The rest of evening was spent playing arcade games at Time Gone again... and the underground arcade with the taiko drums =). We had a trip down memory lane during our persistence with the skill testers; Vicky and Minhky to be more exact. Vicky came out victorious with her frog tissue box cover, after $16 worth of tries, while Minhky... well I don't need to finish the story =). I need to thank Eric and Shirley for getting a plushie for me from the skill testers YAY! I guess they were right about 'perseverance pays off' because Vicky did just that. Since all of us attempted to stop her, believing that no matter how many more tries she'll have she wouldn't be able to get it, Vicky's "I told you so" was completely appropriate in that situation. Good for you Vicky =).

Vicky, Shirley and I.
Eric wearing Vicky's frog plushie (Jimmy).
Meron from Eric; August from Shirley L. THANK YOU =D!

The day was fun, but I wished more people came. Thank you Vicky, Minhky, Danny, Shirley, Joes, Michael, Mimi and Eric for coming yesterday =). I hope you guys had fun too! Oh, thanks to Eric for that chocolate covered ice cream from Hungry Jacks and thanks again to Vicky's dad for driving me home so late at night; sorry for the inconvenience xO!

PS. Thanks to Eric and Vicky for the photos.
