Simplicity at its finest is NOT what i would depict how my life was, nor would i suggest the continuation of my naivety however, as my life escalates into complexity, i hope to keep my optimistic hindsight on life in order to live. Just live. My personal ordeal is to live with no regrets, as though i will die tomorrow. I follow the path that will lead me to who I want to be: someone who people can confide in, to go to when they are in their deepest hour; that's who I want to be. That is my aim in life. Hobbies and interests make my path more flamboyant and enticing, while my family, pet, and friends are the reasons for my existence; the reasons why i try and improve myself. My lack of self motivation for change may be quite obvious, but it doesn't mean that improvement did not occur. It may be so petite, so small, that it's practically invisible, but i guarantee you, i do try. Indefinitely.

a touch of pancakes

Can you believe it?! I went to 'Pancakes On The Rocks' at Darling Harbor for the very first time! The pancakes there was so delicious! I was about to order something with chocolate, or something with strawberries, but in the end I ordered a vanilla and chocolate pancake surprise, and it sure was fulfilling and delectable! I have to thank Lucy and Sarah for that. If it wasn't for them, I still wouldn't have known where it is! Anyways, they had a free maccas meal, so I had some fries and an apple pie for free. It was nice meeting Lucy, she reminded me of little Jessica ... LOL! Both were kind of short, and both were Chinese, and something about Lucy's features that reminded me of Jessica. Anyways, back to my Sunday outing. We then went to Darling Harbor, where the sand park is, and played around, talked and helped little kids LOL! We went to have pancakes, then went walking around the harbor. I finally know where 'Lindt Cafe' is LOL! We went window shopping and in the end, Sarah and I bought a hat, while Lucy bought this thin looking, woolly jacket? I'm not good with the names of various attire so I'm ever so sorry if that's the wrong name for it, which I highly doubt it isn't! It rained in the afternoon, so it got pretty cold. We went our separate ways at about 4 in the afternoon. Did I mention how I had to take the bus from Cabramatta to Granville? So when I went back home, I had to take a bus back to Cabramatta, from Granville, and let me tell you this, it sure smelled in the bus! I had some trouble breathing, and in the end I used my mouth to breath and even so, I STILL smelt something bad. My God, no offense but haven't they ever heard of cologne or perfume T____T! or maybe they just stepped on something disgusting? Oh wells, anyways I'd like to wish a happy birthday to Cindy and my mum! HAPPY BIRTHDAY MUMMY! HAPPY BIRTHDAY CINDY!

Comedy on Stage

O5O7O8 - Eileen's 17th Birthday.
2OO7O8 - Stephanie's 16th Birthday.
21O7O8 - Jessica G.'s 16th Birthday.
28O7O8 - Cindy Y.'s 16th Birthday.
28O7O8 - MY MUM'S BIRTHDAY!

Just yesterday, Linh invited Raymond, Vivian, My Linh, Thanh and I to watch her showcase for Drama, and boy was it HILARIOUS! Everyone was doing such a great job! Of course, after all it was their assessment and HSC piece (they were practicing for it). Yeah, there were some that could've done betters, and others that could've been more expressive, but I believe they have followed the guideline for their group performance or monologue. I realised, yes you can try your hardest and just follow the rules, but sometimes you need to bend he book in order to shine on stage.

Annie and Daphne's monologues were very expressive, and quite contrasting. One was serious, why the other was a joke, no literally, it was a joke LOL! She ended her monologue by 'supposedly' stripping for us! ROFLS! I think Kenny would've done a better job with slapstick humour, like his group performance, than his serious monologue. Linh's one was ... I can't seem to find the right word BUT it blew our minds away xD! Yes, she stumbled on some words, but thank God she has 5 weeks to perfect it for her HSC mark. I believe the best one was the last one, the group performance of Annie, Michael, Kevin and Linh. They were supposedly performers in a group and they were explaining about their past or their future - exaggerated, of course LOL! Linda, Ba Que and Anna's one was pretty funny too. Theirs was set in an office. Sonja one monologue was quite sad. It touched me. I think it's because I kind of feel how the character was feeling - sympathy, I guess. It ended with her about to get raped O_O! Oh dear!

Anyways, Linh drove Vivian, Thanh and I home. Of course she was driving My Linh, they live together ROFLS! Anyways, we did stop at Maccas for some food. I felt bad because I was eating quite a lot of Thanh's fries. SORRY! My mum didn't cook that night because she wasn't feeling so well. She still doesn't feel so well. Oh dear. I hope she'll get better soon.

The Jamie Oliver show disturbed me so much about chicken! I don't think I'll be eating chicken any time soon, so until I get over those gruesome images I'm just going to be eating other meat. It was so awful and they were being so cruel to the baby chicks! I couldn't even finish watching the whole show because it was so upsetting and disturbing! My mum said that they do similar things to other farm animals as well. *sigh* How sad is that?!

hello & goodbye Pope Benedict XVI

You know, the holidays were pretty busy, for the second week anyways. For the first week, all I've been doing was playing Maple Story and calling up EMG to ask about work for WYD. Finally on Monday, they sent me my roster. Hence, for the second week I've been working at Barangaroo and Randwick for WYD.

On Thursday, I got to see the POPE! Well, technically, I saw him on TV where he was located. I couldn't see him properly with such a big crowd. I regretted not bringing my camera but I was afraid that someone would steal it. However, I DID see the POPEMOBIL! YIPPEE! I think it was also on Thursday that Leonora and I took the train home while the others tried to watch ' The Dark Knight' when it was first out, at IMAX. Unfortunately, the tickets got all sold out. Oh yeah! We had to walk the long way, with the pilgrims, and we had no idea why! Anyways, we met these two volunteer guys on the train as well and Leonora was happily chatting with this old man. We were all laughing and joking around. Strange enough, the old guy pretended to pick me up O_o' dot dot dot? I just laughed it off. Of course he was joking, he was a father to a 12 year old girl and a husband for God knows how many years. LOL! Anyways, the younger man took the keyring that Leonora supposedly 'borrowed' from the shop. LOL! It was still fun. I was a bit nervous around the two guys when Leonora had to leave me, but I was fine LOL!

Anyways, I didn't work on Friday because I didn't have any shifts that day, though some of my workmates went anyways for the sake of being paid LOL! So, on that day I went down to Bondi Junction and Jeffrey and I watched Mamma Mia with his family and her friend. Mammia Mia was pretty funny to watch! My mum actually wanted to watch i
t. Oh wells. I offered to watch it with her again but she didn't want to waste any more money.

On Saturday and Sunday, I worked at Randwick race course. It was the communion event, or something like that. It got pretty busy, no wonder we got paid time and a half. Some people actually slept over in the tents! I wouldn't have been able to handle the cold. On Saturday night, Reuben, Sarah and I went to Market City to watch 'The Dark Knight.' Let me tell you, it was AWESOME! I would rate it 9/10! I screamed a bit in some parts but overall, it was FANTASTIC! MAGNIFICENT! EXCELLENT! BRILLIANT! If you can think of any other words that can replace with the words above, please feel free to add it in because it was so good that there's no words to describe it! Heath Ledger was such a GREAT actor in the movie! He played the Joker. Compared to Batman, he seemed to have more attention than him LOL! How unfortunate that we lost him ... I guess there's not going to be a sequel to the movie... unless they decide to replace him. HOW CAN ANYONE REPLACE HEATH LEDGER IN THAT MOVIE?! NEVER!!!!!!!!!!! However, we missed out the last 5 minutes of the movie because we had to take Reuben back to the station because he didn't know how to get back and his last bus was about to come soon. I guess it was a good thing too, it was 12 something when I got home. My mum was pretty worried and displeased ^____^' oops. I promised that I wouldn't stay out THAT late anymore *sigh*.

Pheobe and I at Randwick.

On Sunday, I spent my afternoon with Ralph and Pheobe. We ate and chatted away, telling each other all these lame pick up lines and jokes we've heard before. It was fun! Unfortunately, it was our last day to work at WYD. On Wednesday, WYD officially ended. Overall, it was a great experience, to be able to witness all these different cultures coming together for one event and how they were proudly waving their country flags up high. It was magnificent, especially when the Pope came to Barangaroo. Silence in the crowd, only the majestic symphony playing in the background, signaling the pilgrims that the Pope has arrived. He was on a boat where water was sprouting out. Of course, it was from the sea. I don't think they would be that wasteful to use fresh water JUST to decorate the boat the Pope was in.

Ralph and I at Randwick.

I made so many friends from WYD like Reuben (I'm writing his name first because I forgot his name ... ONCE! Only once!), Sarah, Susan, Leonora, Jenny, Samanta, Susanna, Ravi, Ralph, Jessica, Crystal, Pheobe, Cindy, Gillian and lots more! I hope i'll be able to talk or see all of you soo! Just to tell you, I could've taken more pictures of everyone but it was so busy so I couldn't. Besides, I only brought my camera on Sunday. *sigh* What a shame!

issues at hand

Talk about being unorganized! I called WYD on Friday to query about the rosters and they said they were going to send it yesterday. However, I didn't receive mine yesterday. Some of my friends did though. Have they forgotten about me? I AM allowed to work because I already went to training for it already. I'm pretty sure my mum sent my 'parent consent' note. *sigh* So frustrated.

Redemption. That's what I'm trying to do and what my father's going through. He called me today a couple of times but I didn't answer him. My uncle called my mum and thought she wasn't allowing me to talk to him. It wasn't true. I just don't want to talk to him. Talking to him just brings sadness to me. Talking to him is like giving him a chance. It took me a while but I ALREADY gave him a chance, a second chance. But look what he did? He played the 'pity me' act. There's a saying that goes: fool me once, I'm the fool. Fool me twice, you're the fool. Yes, it got me to sympathize with you for a while, but I knew it wasn't like that. And I was right. you weren't starving, you weren't sad. You just wanted me to tell my mum to give you money. You may got mum, but you haven't got me. Mother was saying, he's your father, you should sympathize with him. Eventually, they were all lies. He wasn't lonely, my stepmother was GIVING BIRTH. He just wanted us to give him money to help him look after the baby. If you said it straight to my face, I would've agreed. The baby's innocent. But no, you had to lie to me. All the moments I had with you, when I think about it now it only brings sorrow and pain to me. I gave you a second chance to redeem yourself, you just ABUSED it, and second chances don't come easy either. Not many are willing to give others a second chance, whatever the issue is. And don't pretend you're working hard to talk to me. that is a LIE. Everything that comes out of your mouth is a lie. Toby was next to the heater. Mum was saying how Toby wanted to be loved as well. If you are being loved, why reject it. It will only cause not only the person pain, but yourself as well. I know what she's implying. Call me selfish, call me slack, HECK call me a heartless b*tch. Because in the end, I am not going to give him another chance. It was his fault that he let the chance slip away, or wasted. Until he finally tells me the truth, rather than adding more lies on top of another, and its evident that he's trying really hard to redeem himself, there's no way I'm giving him the chance he asks so hard for. ALMOST everything that came out of his mouth is a lie. I'm a fair person. I've always been a fair person. I believe everyone gets what they deserve, or if you treat me right, I treat you right. I've always been a stubborn person as well. Don't test me, because I WILL do the opposite. I did with the driving lesson today, with mum. After a short fuse, I just did almost the everything the complete opposite of what she WANTS. I'm also an impatient person. So please understand how hard I'm trying when I try to be patient. Overall, dad, please just let me go. You're just hurting me. I don't have the heart anymore to give you another chance.

out at last

Yesterday, I went out with Jeffrey to the city. hehehe! This is my first outing with friend(s) in the holidays (besides the time when Titan came over to my house to get the patched MS and we watched Shaolin Popi). I haven't seen him in ages and damn has he grown taller! I'm only up to his nose or something now! Anyways, we didn't really have a destination or a plan so we were just wondering around the city. He lend me his coat because it was extremely cold in the morning. He also bought me easy way and a panda xD! I named the panda Jeffrey dee dee (LOL) or maybe just Jeff, for short. Anyways, we went to Galaxy World and played Initial D. I won him in the first round by just a couple of seconds. He won the second round BUT only because I wasn't even paying attention. I was calculating my pay IF i was to work for WYD any time soon and how I was going to use the money for Kelly's and Maylina's birthday presents. In the end, I bought Kelly some clothes and Maylina and doraemon plushie, undies and some jewelery. Morning Glory was having a sale for their birthday! What PERFECT timing! Anyways, I shouted $10 to Jeffrey to buy a miniature helicopter =.=! We were all over the place JUST to look for batteries and in the end he needed a screw driver to open the back =___=. Anyways, we met up with Susan and her dad gave me a discount for the jacket I bought from her shop. PEOPLE GO PADDY'S MARKET AND NEAR THE END THERE IS A CLOTHES SHOP AND A HOT CHICK WILL BE WORKING THERE! BUY FROM HER SHOP! IT"S REALLY GOOD xD!!! I'll be helping them advertise their shop, DEFINITELY! I saw Kim and Linh and these other 12th graders. They were celebrating Ivan's birthday. HAPPY BIRTHDAY IVAN! Oh yeah, I dared Jeffrey to ask for a girl's number of my choice. I chose this girl and he took about ... 10 MINUTES just trying to get closer to her and glancing at her =.=! In the end, the girl talked to him first and they were actually workmates. OOPS! She was actually 20 years of age. I thought she seemed like a nice, talented girl because she was playing with her younger siblings AND she had a LOT of tickets in her hands O_O! Jeffrey shouted me some food, but he was the bigger pig at that moment. I guess I didn't really feel that hungry even though I didn't eat breakfast. I don't usually eat breakfast anyways. Jeffrey had to leave at 3 PM to go to work. I just bummed around Kinokuniya for a little while before I went off somewhere else in search of Maylina's present. It was hard to find a really good present for her because I didn't know her really good enough to get her extra special. I just know she's girly. I saw Maria snr. and her boyfriend. Her boyfriend recognized me before she did. WOW. I haven't seen her in AGES! Anyways, I went home at about 5:30PM, then Linh drove me to her cousin's house for a little while. CONGRATULATIONS LINH AND ANTHONY! They both have their P's. WOOT WOOT! Linh got her P's on her very first go while Anthony took 3 times to get his. First time, he accidentally ran cross red light. Second time, he missed out because he had something that time (what a waste of money xO). Third time, he passed xD! Linh has such a big, very nice and noisy family (all in a good way!). I wish my family was like that too! They fed me, that's even BETTER! Feeding strangers O_O, I wonder if my family would ever do that? Hmmms... Anyways, we went back to Linh's house and Linh, My Linh and I were just chatting and joking around in Linh's room. It was about 11PM when Linh drove me home. I thank her and her family for their chilvalrous and generous attitudes toward me =). That's my day people, I hope you had a great day!

PS. I AM AWFULLY SORRY TO MAYLINA AND KELLY AND TITAN FOR THEIR EXTREMELY 2MONTHS+ LATE BIRTHDAY PRESENTS! I DON"T KNOW WHAT HAPPENED TO TITAN'S ONE! LISA THINKS IT GOT LOST IN THE MAIL! NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
PS. Jeffrey told me if I was to work, don't work on next Thursday. The monks predicted that something really bad is going to happen, and they were the same monks that predicted the earthquake that happened in China. OH EM GEE! That got me thinking. Life is so fragile. I can't die yet! I have too much things to do. Like to redeem myself, improve myself, defend myself, straighten out myself, things to do, sites to see. LOTS AND LOTS OF THINGS!

Multicultural Day

Yesterday was Multicultural Day at our school. Titan and I went to school at about 8:OO in the morning because we had to get ready for the concert. Tien and Sarina were already there. We went to the waiting room to get ready and watched the other performances. I went with Linh, Raymond, Daphne and Vivian for their performance because Linh told me that she needed me to help her turn the pages for her piano part. However, Mrs Movillo volunteered to turn it for her so I kind of embarrassed myself in the spotlight T_T! Damn Linh! Anyways, I helped Sarina with her make up. It was kind of hard to put make up on her because 1. I wasn't used to using Titan's make up and 2. she had a detailed face so I wasn't sure how to put the make up on. After all, I'm not a professional. In the end, I gave her rosy cheeks and she didn't like it because she thought it was too red. I thought she looked adorable and healthy looking. Adorable as in embarrassed, blushing like. Oh wells. Anyways we performed 4th. Our song was Kimigasuki. Tien, Titan and I were suppose to sing but then Tien backed out, then we all didn't sing because it was difficult to sing and dance at the same time with our umbrellas. it's okay because I think we would've been too scared to sing anyways.

Sarina, Tien, Titan and I.

Sarina, Titan and I decided to not go into the fashion parade because we already went on stage. Minhky and Stiffy won the fashion parade. They were dressed as Scottish people. They looked so cute! Their group was dressed as couples (friends) so that it wouldn't be as weird with only one person dressed as that country. Kelly, Ivana, Susan, Jessica and Antony sang for the fashion parade.
Linda and Chris as French people.

Kelly, Denis and Jordan.

Stupid Miss X stepped on my kimono hard and she didn't even apologise! Our year 11 band (Kelly, Atony, Jessica, Kit, David, Susan and Wattey) were extremely good! The year 12 dancers were real good too! They danced to thriller and their makeup and costume were awesome! Don't forget Susan. She was fabulous! She was dressed so nicely and her voice was angelic!
Daphne and Ivan (part of the yr 12 'Thriller' group).

The rest of the day wasn't bad though, it would've been better if it wasn't that short and the year 11s didn't have to work for our last Multicultural Day. Anyways, there was actually archery! Cathleen, Jenny, Sarina and I waited in line for it. It to
ok quite a while so Jenny left for her session. Cathleen went first, then me and lastly Sarina. We had to rush to our sessions because we were running late. I got a prize for getting the arrow in the red section. I was so happy! I got a lollipop and a makeup bag. The cover had a pretty pattern on it. My shift was all the way in the hall so I had to take a while, since archery was in F block (they were at opposite ends). Anyways, my shift was ice cream and Vi and Bunthi was working at session 2 with me. I wanted to eat a Tirumisu cake T_T! I had 4 coupons left O_O! I guess I didn't get to us it all. After the session, it was the karaoke concert. Third place was Bunthi, second place was Susan and Wattey and first place was Kim. CONGRATS TO ALL OF YOU GUYS! Jessica G., Kim, Thi, Lisa and Jason performed 'Hit me baby one more time' by Britney Spears as a joke. Mr. Rule, Mr. Taylor, this singing teacher, Susan, Wattey, Kit, Bach and David performed a song called 'Old School Rules.' It was a pretty fun day!

Julie and Maylina (she's dressed as a Thailand person).

I was really busting but Julie said it's better to not miss the bus than miss the bus. She got me there. Huynh and I went walking around Cabramatta to wait for our bus and people were looking at me. It was so embarrassing! Now it looked like I was an attention seeker. It was because I didn't have a bag big enough to put my kimono in so I had to wear it. I had my mufty clothes underneath the kimono, so I was getting pretty hot while walking around Cabramatta. Oh wells, that's all over now =)! YAY!

Tuesday 1 July 2008

bundled up

So many things have occurred in the last 2 weeks. I've been occupied with numerous of things and events that it's almost unbelievable! To me anyways xD!

Sarina, Titan and I went shopping for our kimono materials, then to Sarina's house to cut out pieces and help Sarina iron the material while she sewed our kimono. Her dog, White King, was oh so cute and white! Don't forget HUGE! And I'm not kidding when I say that it can actually tear you half apart! At first he was barking at us and etc. Later, when we entered the house, he became so friendly with us! Sarina's so talented! She can COOK and SEW! Now that's what I call a woman LOL! She spent nights doing out kimono, that poor girl. At times, she was even away the next day due to exhaustion. I borrowed her case of DVDs. I swear, that girl has so much movies!!! We practiced at Titan's house and we actually managed to work out the whole dance!Woot woot for us!

I DROVE! I actually drove! It wasn't so bad. A bit scary, but it was pretty fun. I was so eager to drive. Titan drove too! She drove 30km/hr while I drove ... 4km/hr =_='. Oh wells, my mum wants to take it easy with me. Can't blame her. Both of my cousin were quite ... logical and sensible and yet ... they still crash the car a couple of times.

We watched 'The Others' and I didn't like it one bit. A couple of seconds after the introduction, the scene was Nicole Kidman screaming. At that moment, I screamed and fell off my chair. How am I suppose to know that she just starts screaming out of no where?! Anyways, later Peter D1 popped a balloon in the middle of a scary scene. Luckily, I was covering my eyes with my book. The second time we watched it Thomas screamed out of no where and I thought it was Peter again. Half the class screamed because of Thomas >x(! We still haven't finish watching it so we're going to finish watching next term.

Today, we had our last lesson for swimming. We were racing and splashing the teachers. People were getting cramps, like Cindy, Maylina and Shain. I was racing Jenny in backstroke and I actually swam diagonally and crossed her path and she hit my foot. I seriously have no sense of direction! The others were laughing at me LOL! I would be too! Well, I was ... but you get my point xD! We also had rehearsals as well. I think the stress of the performance was getting to us, especially Sarina. Titan was getting pretty heated too, and so was I. Tien didn't really stress that much. The performances were great! They make us feel like amateurs. Later, we returned to Titan's house and I helped her with a video. It was part of her Legal Studies assignment and kind of our first composition of 'Talkshow Productions.' It was pretty hilarious! There were so many bloopers and we kept on drinking instant coffee, and we kept on laughing, which makes us want to go to the toilet. It was like a chain reaction. The coffee seemed to make us feel sleepy rather than energetic, but since I had as much sugar as coffee, it balanced out. Titan didn't have that much sugar so she felt more sleepy than me.

*sigh* Now my mum is mad at me for having time to help Titan and her assignment and I'm doing nothing for my school work. Can't blame her. MY REPORT WAS SHIT T_______T!!!

PS. We celebrated Mr. Donohue's birthday today. Peter D1 chucked a tantrum for some reason. I hope he's okay.
