Simplicity at its finest is NOT what i would depict how my life was, nor would i suggest the continuation of my naivety however, as my life escalates into complexity, i hope to keep my optimistic hindsight on life in order to live. Just live. My personal ordeal is to live with no regrets, as though i will die tomorrow. I follow the path that will lead me to who I want to be: someone who people can confide in, to go to when they are in their deepest hour; that's who I want to be. That is my aim in life. Hobbies and interests make my path more flamboyant and enticing, while my family, pet, and friends are the reasons for my existence; the reasons why i try and improve myself. My lack of self motivation for change may be quite obvious, but it doesn't mean that improvement did not occur. It may be so petite, so small, that it's practically invisible, but i guarantee you, i do try. Indefinitely.

Diary Entry #16: Finally home (14O211)

Dear Diary,

Happy 19th Birthday Thanh =) .

It was also Valentines Day. I thought to myself, "great, I'll be home; single, family-less, a garage full of termites and hungry." I guess it wasn't that bad. Again, I had some assistance to help me through the check-out and all. It took longer than I thought because the other people that were with me were having a bit of trouble finding their luggage. Though, it was okay. We get to go into the express lines and all =). When I got out, I met up with Mun uncle and aunt. Mum have asked them to pick me up from the airport. They were her table-tennis and tafe buddies =). Thankfully, the parking fees weren't that expensive, though I did feel bad for making them wait for me for so long. It took a while to find the car because they seemed to have forgotten where they parked it. On the way home, they offered to take me out to lunch, but I was too exhausted and I wasn't feeling too hungry.

When I got home, Toby was really happy to see me =D. He was so happy and scared that he cried every time I moved away from him, forcing me to let him be close to me. Every time I let go of him, he would cry and try to jump onto me again. Even if I did let him sit on my lap, he still continued to cry. I guess he felt extremely lonely without mum and I there. Uncle looked after him for us, but his presence was brief every day. I felt really bad for leaving him home alone. It went on for  ~30 minutes before he finally settled down. Uncle came over to check up on me and all. I'm really grateful that he had looked after Toby, looked after our mails and looked after our house well. I felt bad when I realized I didn't really buy him a souvenir =/. Hence, I decided to give him one of my fridge magnets =). At least it's something, right?

For the rest of the day, and night, I slept, read and went on the computer. I felt too tired and too lazy to make instant noodles and hence, I starved that night =/. But I'm glad to be home again =).

On a side note, I'm very grateful and thankful for my relatives hospitality in Malaysia. They looked after me and took care of every thing for me; they even paid for most of my stuff over there. They made me feel right at home, even though it's been years since I last saw them; they made me feel comfortable =). I can't wait to go back there again. I love them =).

Love,
FiONA =).

Diary Entry #9: Twin Towers, here I come

Dear Diary,

Today's objective was to buy camera, which was chipped in by the family. But before that,  2nd auntie, cousin San San and I went to eat breakfast with 3rd auntie and cousin Mun Hong at a restaurant close by to 3rd auntie's house. We went shopping after that. We bought the camera, which was a Canon IXUS 130 =). It's almost exactly like cousin Mun Hong's camera. Including a protective screen cover and a 4GB DS, it was RM $799. It had a lot of functions to play around with, like a miniature affect and a fish-eye affect, etc. =D. I really like the camera because not only was it better than my previous one, but also because it was from the entire family. I'm very grateful and thankful towards my family because they made me feel loved and special; I'm very happy =). I'm also thankful towards my 3rd aunt for buying me a pair of new shoes too =). We did quite a lot of shopping today; we mostly shopped for shoes... well, I did anyways =P. I wonder how I'm going to back all these shoes into my luggage =/.

My red envelope money from my family for this CNY =D.
My new camera =D - Canon IXU 130 =D !!!
Testing out my new camera =).

Cousin Mun Hong and 3rd auntie went home with us for dinner. Uncle did the cooking this time =). After dinner, we went out to KLCC (Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre/Twin Towers) for some sight-seeing time. I got a new pair of Rip Curl thongs using the coupon given by cousin Mun Loong along the way =D. Even in a different country, it's still a pretty expensive brand. After driving 3rd aunt home, we met up with cousin Mun Hong's friends and had some midnight snacks at a street side Mamak store. Cousin Mun Hong and friends have been together since primary school, so I guess they're pretty good old friends =) That's pretty lucky to have friends since primary school =). Although they mostly spoke in Mandarin, I thought they were pretty friendly and funny people =). I knew because my cousins were translating, what they were saying, to me. One of them were a couple about to get married =D they even asked me to come up with a weird/unique name for their child, but we didn't really decide on one LOL. After a while, we went our separates. Unfortunately, we couldn't start on making tiramisu because we didn't get to buy all the ingredients that day. But that's okay, there's always tomorrow. Another day gone.

 Famous Amos, supposedly really popular.
Choc-chipped flavoured. It's a shame I didn't finish it before I came back =(. Apparently, it kind of expensive too, for biscuits =(.
It's like a hot pot food store on the side of the street =D.
The famous Twin Towers of Malaysia.
This was where cousin Mun Hong used to work at, some high class hotel or something =S I forgot the name xP.
A Mamak store on the side of the street.
Cousin Mun Hong's friends, cousin San San and I =) (cousin Mun Hong was taking the photo).

Ahoj

PS. Thanks cousin Mun Hong for the photos =).

hippies, gangsters and nerds

I recently just left Cindy's 18th birthday party WOOT!!! The theme was to dress up as either a gangster, a hippie or a nerd. I think most of us dressed up as a hippie xD hippies ftw!!! I would like to apologise to Cindy for not giving her a present just yet. Unfortunately, there are certain factors which are obstructing me from eBaying a dress for her and hence, I've decided to chip in with Derek instead *sigh* ... LOL! I hope I'm not too late xO!

My Hippie outfit =).

Back to the party. It sure is lucky to have a chef as a father because the food were sure delicious! It's a shame I couldn't eat more because I was too busy playing games hahaha! Andrew and Derek brought PS2 games over, which includes: Simpsons Road Rage; Tekken; Guitar Hero; and another driving game which I don't know the name of =). I think Tekken is the BEST game to play at a party. Why? Because whether you're the person playing or watching, everyone gets so excited and they start screaming like hell LOL! Hong D. was the funniest when she plays because she just screams at everything LOL! Jen R.D. and Derek were actually pretty good players =D They were pretty hard to beat *coughgamfreakscough* LOL! Michael's another gamer as well LOL he's practically a pro at almost every single game that's available at Time Zone since he goes there a lot. He even came 7th in the Guitar Hero competition at Time Zone. He was actually wearing a 'finalist' t-shirt to the party today lol =D I bow to you man, you're too pro xD.

Gangster, nerd and hippie; one of each =D.

Groupie photos; friends who loves Cindy =). (Plus more!)

Now that I think back, I have no idea why we even bought aluminum foil LOL! Eric, Derek and I went to Woolworths to buy some aluminum foil to "protect ourselves from aliens" *cough*. Yeah... it was fun while it lasted =). I guess it was pretty much hanging around, eating, playing, meeting new people and catching up with each other at Cindy's place. Though it was fun most of the time, the feeling of getting hit in the head, with a golf club, by Vicky was a NOT so fun moment. That's okay hahaha I'm used to injuries anyways ;). Then came the birthday cake YAY!!! It was an ice-cream cookies and cream birthday cake with a picture of My Little Pony =D. I liked it xD but I think i prefer the boysenberry flavour over the cookies and creams flavour for ice cream =). Then came the gifts =D everyone had such cool gifts for Cindy, like Kim's painting, Andrew H.'s Pekingese, 6 weeks old, male dog Piglet, Maxine's home-made croquembouche and Melissa's scrapbook xD they were all awesome presents =D Cindy must've been overjoyed! Then it was group photo time WOOT WOOT! It was funny when Stephanie said "I'm wetting your ball!" because she was leaning on Cindy's green fluffy pillow-like ball, against the green grass. LOL! It was just amusing the way she said it xD.

PIGLET !!!

Cindy's My Little Pony ice cream cake =).

No more cake xO! Viausto you pig LOL!

Groupie =).

After that was just more hanging around and stuff. For the rest of the night, I was with a group of friends upstairs, in Cindy's room, playing spin the bottle and just talking =) however, we had the lights turned off to make it more convenient for Piglet to sleep. HE'S OH SO CUTE xD!!! I also had a go at that electrocuting-thingamabob. There are four sticks which each player holds on to;  the light in the middle will begin to flash red; you press on the button on your stick when it turns green and whoever was the slowest to press it gets electrocuted. I've only played it once, but I don't think I want to play it again lol. Wendy was actually quite funny with her questions and quotes eg. "QUEENSLAND". Rather than swearing, she replace them with the word Queensland LOL! And Shirley, rather than saying 20/20 vision, she accidentally said 40/40 vision LOL! It was also hilarious to watch Minhky squirm under our interrogation with his current girlfriend, Rosalyn LOL!

I know it's not actually Cindy's birthday today, because it's actually on NYE, but I'll say it anyways:
HAPPY 18TH BIRTHDAY CINDY! Never change yourself because we all LOVE you just the way you are =D. Keep smiling because it always make my day! Words cannot describe what and how I think of you because this feeling of gratitude and thankfulness that you give me is indescribable. I can go on and on about how I am feeling but I'll never be able to reach the end because you, Cindy, are indefinitely, undoubtedly, perpetually worth more than all the words in the world; you ARE the definition of those words. If you ask me what kind of person you are Cindy, I'll reply as "Cindy, you are a Cindy." I know I can provide millions of complimentary words to describe you, so I won't. I'll just type 18 words because it's your 18th birthday. Here it goes: genuine; generous; resilient; positive; benevolent; sympathetic; thoughtful; enthusiastic; intelligent; beautiful inside and out; clumsily adorable; independent; happy-go-lucky; patient; tolerant; lovable; worthy; priceless. I'm blessed to have you walk into my life and even more grateful to have you as a friend. I wish to be able to enjoy the rest of life with you by my side =) and hence, I want to grow old with you Cindy. I LOVE YOU ;D !!!

Cindy, the birthday girl =3.

Cindy and her boyfriend, Andrew =).

I'll say it again when it really IS her birthday =D. Anyways, that's it for now =D bye everyone!

PS. Thanks David, Hanh Hong, Charles and Anne for the photos =).
PSS. I can't believe bothered to spend approx. 2 hours to tag all the group photos, with approx. 20+ people in every one of them =.=" FML.
PSSS. How cool are Katherine's shoes =D ?!?!?!
