Simplicity at its finest is NOT what i would depict how my life was, nor would i suggest the continuation of my naivety however, as my life escalates into complexity, i hope to keep my optimistic hindsight on life in order to live. Just live. My personal ordeal is to live with no regrets, as though i will die tomorrow. I follow the path that will lead me to who I want to be: someone who people can confide in, to go to when they are in their deepest hour; that's who I want to be. That is my aim in life. Hobbies and interests make my path more flamboyant and enticing, while my family, pet, and friends are the reasons for my existence; the reasons why i try and improve myself. My lack of self motivation for change may be quite obvious, but it doesn't mean that improvement did not occur. It may be so petite, so small, that it's practically invisible, but i guarantee you, i do try. Indefinitely.

A trip down memory lane in Australia

Once again, Open Day for universities arrived at our doorsteps, welcoming us with their freebies, masterpieces and intriguing courses. Thank you for welcoming us with open arms.

I STRIPPED in the car last Friday afternoon MWAHAHAHAHA! Only because I didn't have time to change in the toilets since mum and I were going to meet my cousins (who are also siblings), from Malaysia who we haven't seen for almost 10 years, at the city. Who are they? They are Puiyi 姐姐 and Mun Hong 哥哥. I sure missed them! They actually brought gifts for me, including San San 姐姐! 非常感謝! While Puiyi 姐姐 and her friend, Elvin, went to get dressed to go clubbing, Mun Hong 哥哥, mum and I went walking around at Chinatown before meeting up again to eat dinner with them and Elvin's friends. Obviously, when you don't see your relatives for almost 10 years, there sure is a lot to catch up with! Thankfully, everyone is well in Malaysia, so that's good!

Thanks to Kelly and Joes for waiting for me at the station, on Saturday morning, or else it would've been a lonesome trip to the city. We rendezvous with the others at UTS, then we split up. Joes and I tagged along with Eric, Minhky, Vicky and Stanley to USYD. Athena and her cute and fluffy pomeranian female puppy, Cutie, joined us on the bus trip in search for Annie and Cindy. I sure saw a lot of Canley students and Seftoners at the universities. We didn't do much, just the usual activities; walking, talking, singing, dancing, searching, taking, rendezvousing, eating, speculating, etc.

Vicky, taken by Eric.
Us rehearsing the Thriller dance. Us at Townhall (left to right: Stanley, Vicky, Joes, Me, Kelly, Eric and Minhky)

So what's extra special about this Open Day? *drum rolls* Michael Jackson's Birthday Flash Mob! Yep! We were anticipating the chance to perform a tribute for the King of Pop's 51st birthday (29O8O9)! First we took the bus back to Central from USYD, then walked to Hyde Park (we had trouble finding directions for it), learnt the dance for an hour or so, then walked all the way to Townhall, waited for another half an hour, then performed Thriller, then walked all the way to Circular Quay to do another performance (twice there), and we were just too tired to walk all the way to IMAX to do another performance, so we went to 'Pancake on the Rocks' instead =). We should've taken the bus or train for transport, instead of just walking all around Sydney xO! My feet were screaming for a foot massage! And no, we weren't at the front; we were at the back of the group =).

Tree huggers =)

You know, I got tired from laughing too much during the trip to and from The Rocks because of the others and their eccentric comments ROFLMAOS! But we went our separate ways after we reached Central train station (don't worry, we weren't that stupid to walk all the way back again; we took the train back). Vicky, Eric, Stanley and I took another train to Townhall while the others caught another train home. We met up with the other Seftoners on the monorail (excluding Michael Sin) and it was pretty fun. Hot and suffocating, but fun. OH! A funny incident happened during our monorail trip:

Eric: aslkjdfioefekjdlfkadsf
Fiona: aslkdfjsadlkfj I really like this necklace, although all the jewels on the piano fell off asldkfjkdsljf.
Eric and Vincent takes a closer look at the necklace.
Fiona: Stop loooking at my chest! *covers her chest*
Vicky: You have no chest to look at - I'M JOKING!
Everyone: OHHHHHHH!
Fiona attempts to strangle Vicky and everyone laughs.

ROFLMAOS! Vicky you cheeky one! I only managed one trip around the city before I went off again. Eric and Stanley were nice to wait with me for my cousins to pick me up. We spent our waiting time at Kinokuniya and I realised we all were interested in anime and/or manga =D! YAY! Then came Puiyi 姐姐 and off to dinner we went. CLUBBING - I wish. Since my mum took my license to help me make a new passport, and the fact that they didn't accept student ID cards, Mun Hong 哥哥 stayed with me while the others partied. We had desserts before we went our separate ways though and it was pretty delicious =D. I think the place was called Passionfruit Cafe... or something like that anyways! Mun Hong 哥哥 and I went to an internet cafe before we went around Chinatown for more snacks LOL! We headed to the hotel after that since we both were pretty tired from the day.

Us having desserts.
St. Mary's Cathedral.

The next day we had breakfast at 2PM. Yes, you read right, 2PM ROFLS! The cafe is called Tart Cafe and we were accompanied by 2 other people, besides Elvin, that were Puiyi 姐姐 new friends. They were engaged actually =D. Our first destination of the day was St. Mary's Cathedral and it sure was beautiful, inside and out =D. Next was the markets at The Rocks which was also my first time being there. I've only just walked pass there a couple of times, but I've never actually entered the market street before. In short, I was site-seeing with them as well HAHAHA! So much for being a Sydney resident. Mun Hong 哥哥 went home with me while Puiyi 姐姐 went to party with Elvin again at Argle Street Club hahaha! He came and slept over at our house for a night =D. Mun Hong 哥哥 and I played a bit on my computer before he got tired and hence, he went to sleep while I stayed on my computer a little bit longer. He slept in my room while I slept with my mum =) All in all, my weekends were exhausting yet GREAT!

PS. I had fun reminding Kelly to practice her southern American accent for her HSC drama monologue!
PSS. Thanks to my friends for their birthday presents! I really like them!
PSSS. YAY! It's the end of Winter and tomorrow will be the beginning of Spring!

So guess how I celebrated the end of my trials? I finished reading the manga Fruits Basket (フルーツバスケット) by Natsuki Tayaka. Yep! I FINISHED!!! If you want to know what it's about, go to this site. Anyways, that was my weekends gone before science camp, at Narabeen, began. I was packing for it on Sunday night and knew I was going to forgot something, but I ignored it anyways. I was right. I forgot my PILLOW xO! Hence, I had to borrow Maylina's spare one. Thank you May!

CAMP! CAMP! CAMP!

Our last camp of year 12, explicitly for those who does a science subject =). Majority of us went, except for approximately 10 students. I know it said it was going to be 27 degrees, however they seem to forget to tell us about the incoming strong winds and rain. Or we just forget to continue listening and didn't hear the rest. Hence, while we waited for the bus, it started sprinkling. Lisa L. was actually quite content about the weather because it meant that she didn't have to do rock climbing. That funny, funny girl. She was right, she didn't have to do rock climbing once we got there but ironically, she had to do it the next day with blue skies, sparse clouds, moderate temperature and slight wind - another words, a sunny day =). LOL! Mrs. Rogers was in charge with the students on the students on the bus and Mr. Ward, being afraid that we would gang up on her, accompanied Mrs. Rogers on the bus. Maylina, William and Chi Sing was driven by Mr. Kolouris and Fianna, Cindy V., Cindy H. and Athena were driven by Mr. Dowes. According to these students, it seems like both of these male teachers have a preference for an exciting, adventerous life with their screamo/rock music and dangerous driving. ROFLMAOS! Anyways, luckily I didn't vomit on Lisa during the bus ride ^______^' (I'm prone to travel sickness) and it was pretty hilarious listening to the people at the back singing various songs coming from Chiv's musical device (I couldn't see what he was holding), but I think I prefer to listen to my own music thanks xD.

There were 3 activities provided by the organisation: ropes course, initiative activities and rock climbing. Hence, we were split into 3 groups; Lisa, Yunyi and I were in the group doing initiative activities. Unlike the other 2 groups, we stayed inside and played games. It might sound boring, but it's actually quite fun and competitive. Some of the activities were played in drama classes, while others were new to us like the 3 way thumb wrestle and fencing with our fingers. There were also problem-solving activities like using just 2 ropes to lift a bucket of water out of a circle, without dragging it, and stacking empty milk cartoons as high as you can.

The girls' dormitory.
Yunyi and I in our dormitory.

As usual, the girls and guys dormitories were split up. There were common rooms between the 2 sections of each dormitory, and it even has an arched roof, chairs, cupboards, a sink and a television! How cool is that?! Like at camp, in year 10, Lisa was sleeping on the top bunk while I was at the bottom. In our cabin, there was Lisa L., Maylina, Yunyi, Fianna, Cindy V., Cindy H., Athena and I. There were communal showers, so some of us showered at the same time. Of course NOT in the SAME shower, but next to each other >=D.

The food was definitely better than what we had at last year's camp and we even had dessert, which was chocolate mousse. Liem and I had a little chocolate mousse food fight LOL! THE FISH AND MASHED POTATO WERE YUMMY! =D Oh yeah! People were actually taking photos of the teachers (Mr. Kolouris, Mr. Ward, Mr. Dowes, Mrs. Bremet and Mrs. Rogers) and their I-phones LOL! Practically everyone in the science staff room has one LOL! Unfortunately, I forgot to take a picture myself. Trivia was after dinner and the competition was heating up between the table groups. I'm proud to say that I helped my group win some bonus points with 'who can eat a biscuit the fastest.' The winners? A table full of boys for the 18- group and the teachers for the senior group. You may be thinking 'why are the teachers in it as well?' and this would be my answer: because they didn't make the trivia, it was the staff from the organization. Besides, Phillip was part of the teachers' group LOL! So what were the rewards? Tim Tam biscuits, Minties and Golden Valley fruit yogurt =). GUESS WHAT?! Wildlife animals actually comes into the dinning room once in a while. There was a possum, a cat and a bird which we saw so far =D. We were most fascinated by the possum xD!

The possum that we found!
physical activity - trivia.

No, I did not sleep. Even if I did, it was for an hour or two. What do you expect? The thrill of being on camp, away from your parents and school, and residing in a place where you've never been before, for a night, was just too overwhelming! And yes, there were instant noodles provided by Lisa =). After dinner snack, here I come =D (I'd say midnight snack, but it wasn't midnight at that time). You think Lisa and I are Asian, I should tell you about the boys! Noodles, meat, chopsticks, bowls, hot pot equipments, etc.! I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw the teachers surrounding the boys eating hot pot just outside the dinning building LOL! They were so organized and all! All I was holding was a cup of instant noodles LOL! Even Mrs. Bremet was commenting on how the girls were lacking in the food department, but Mei replied back with how instant noodles can be chucked away afterward while the boys had to clean their hot pot equipment afterward xD. Go Mei! Anyways, so what did I do for the most of the night? Fianna, the 2 Cindys, Athena and I were at the common room watching a horror Korean movie on SBS, but since we missed the first part of the movie, it didn't really make sense to us and hence, we watched Miss Universe instead. Australia managed to make it to the top 5, but it was Venezuela (Stefania Fernandez) who took out the gold. The Miss Universe 'O8 was so happy for 'O9 that she practically threw the tiara on her head, but it fell off ROFLS! That was so hilarious! China received the award for Miss 'Congeniality' and Thailand received the award for 'Most Photogenic.' Go China and Thailand! I couldn't take it anymore, so I attempted to go to sleep. Alas, the strong winds, mosquito bites, random noises of people entering and exiting the room and my mp3 music kept me awake for the reminding of the night. Before I knew it, it was 5 AM and Lisa and May began packing up. By 7 AM, I was still in bed, but May was already outside for a jog.

Miss Universe 2OO9 crowning moment.

The ropes course.Philip and I at the ropes course.
Patrick on the ropes course.
Jessica on the flying fox.
Jackie on the rope course.

Before breakfast, I went to do some site seeing and photographing. Everyone was almost done by the time I reached the dinning room xO. After breakfast, we had a lesson about studying for science subjects. Mrs. Rogers taught us about the 3 Rs - review, revise, recall. Then we went to our separate science groups (Biology) and went through booklets and then we separated into different groups again for the day's activities. This time, I did the rope course while Lisa got stuck with rock climbing ROFLS! Philip was my partner for the activity and in my group, I was the only girl who attempted the 2nd level of the rope course and boy was I scared! I was practically flying away with the cargo net! I'd right a small summary of how I was feeling during the rope course, with ostentatious language techniques and explicit visual techniques but I'm just not bothered to express my trepidation of that time. However, I'm proud to say that I faced my fear of heights (acrophobia). Okay, I wasn't THAT afraid of heights, but I was still scared! Idiotically, rather than slipping on the rope course, I fell when I was running , while pushing the hook, back to the staff member on the 1st level. I also fell on my butt while trying to stop Philip from hitting the ladder. Okay, Jackie was lucky enough to do 3/4 of the rope course because Thi (Tina) was his partner, and she didn't want to do the course at all. Not even the flying fox. Anyways, I also have to comment on Patrick's amazing running/swimming exiting style while he was doing the flying fox. It was quite spetacular LOL! Oh, and the coversation between Mr. Dowes and Anthony was hilarious! This is a summary of the conversation:

Mr. Dowes: asdlkfjsldfjds You can carry the ladder.
Anthony: asdfjsdfieoaifds childhood obesity sir! ajdfadslkfj
Everyone started laughing.

According to Patrick's explanation, it seemed that Anthony was trying to say child labour, but it turned out as 'childhood obesity' instead ROFLS! Anyways, after the activity, we were split up into our 2nd science group again for practical work. This time I was with Senior Science. Mr. Dowes sure likes to torture us. Walking us up and down slopes, walking through bushes, etc. Thankfully, it was only for an hour or so. We had lunch outside so we get to see the refreshing scenery of the area and then we had to leave. To those who were sitting at the back of the bus and were STILL energtic enough to be laughing and giggling the most of the way back to school, I give you a round of applause. I am just amazed by your enthusiasm. Even after the activities, the sleepless night and the exercise during the practical experiments, you still had some energy left! The rest of us were just listening to our music and sleeping or playing with our DS. I was so exhausted that I didn't even hear Mrs. Rogers say that there were no morning lessons today. Hence, when I reached the room with no one outside, I went to the staffroom to be told, for the 3rd time, that there was no lessons today T_T. I literally hit the bed and fell straight to sleep, all the way to this morning. Now, I suffer from mosquito bites, a swollen eye and aching muscles. All I can do now is just wait until it all goes away.

My Senior Science practical group.

PS. I love you Kelly xD You just know me too well xD! Thank's for the latest One Piece Episodes.
PSS. I'm so happy that I've improved on English xD !!!

this word is amusement

O8O8O9 - 姐姐 Marina's 24th Birthday.
O7O8O9 - Jessica T.'s 18th Birthday.
O6O8O9 - Kivi's 15th Birthday.
O5O8O9 - Patrick's 18th Birthday.

'Ce-le-bra-tions time, come on!' The trip to Golden Star Restaurant wasn't exactly the most pleasant one. Not that I don't respect my elders, but sitting in a car full of older adults, between my cousins' grandma and my mum, and hearing them attempting to dominate one another to tell their own stories is quite frustrating. Nevertheless, I was quite please to finally have some personal space between them and I. I was quite happy when we ordered my favourite dish - pipi/clams with X.O. alcohol in it. We socialized, we ate and we laughed - what more can I say. Family dinners are usually the same for us; the difference is the purpose of our dinners. This time, we were celebrating my cousin, Marina, and I's birthdays together. As usual. I don't complain because this doesn't happen much and it is quite nice when we do get together. When my cousin suggested that William, her and her boyfriend, Edward, celebrate our birthdays better after dinner, it made me quite content =D.

I am extremely fascinated by my cousin's new car. Unfortunately, I don't know the brand or the type of car it is, but it has really clear speakers, a small rectangular space on top of the car which can open up, wide foot space, bluetooth and anything cool you can think of is included in the car. William's unit is extremely high-classed and modernized, with an LCD screen, two bathrooms with one in his own room, remarkable artwork and a view of his building's swimming pool and inside garden. How amazing is that?! If you haven't realised, we decided to hold the celebration and William's apartment with games. William did the honours of making chai latte for us, as snacks. When you smell it, it smells distasteful, but once you drink it, it's quite soothing and delicious =). I was glad to see Hector again (William's dog)! At first he ran away from me, and almost knocking into the window, but after a while he crawled out of the under the chair and played with me =D. I don't know why he was afraid of me first when he knew who I am, but that's okay. I guess he was afraid of me taking over his territory =). The first game we played was Taboo and it was so hilarious! First it was William and I versing Edward and Marina, and then we swapped teams. We all teamed up with everyone else and whoever teamed up with me lost... But cut me some slack! It was the first time I've ever played that game before! I was better at describing that guessing, since half the time I didn't know who or what the word they were trying describe. I remember there was one which Marina and William were versing me and Edward, and this was how it went (well, I tried to remember how it went):

Marina: okay, what is a piano?
William: an instrument.
Marina: okay, this is a, you know, instrument, and you put it on your shoulder.
William: an accordian?
Marina: on your shoulder? No!
William: a harp?
Edward and I laughed out loud. Marina laughed and looked exasperated.
Marina: How are you suppose to put a harp on your shoulder! It's freaken heavy!
Marina pretends to have a harp on her shoulder, ridiculing William. Edward and I laughed even harder. William also laughed along.
William: I don't know what it is!
Marina: OMG.
William: I don't know! Um, a voilin?
Marina: Yes! *Takes out the next card* Okay this is -
Edward: Time's up!
Marina: OMG you suck! A harp on your shoulder?!
We all laughed and ridiculed William and his wild imagination. Then the game continued.

The next game we played was Trivia Pursuit. William and I was teamed again. Seriously, I lost MOST when I was paired up with William LOL! Anyways, we played one round because we were all so tired already, and the time was ticking for 2 AM. William answered all the questions since I had no idea what the answer was. I'm telling you, the the questions were freaking old! As if I know what Parkinson is! Okay, now I do - it's an old television series. Emphasis on old. William wasn't so serious at answering the questions either because he was falling half asleep while answering them and hence, Marina and Edward won. I liked Taboo better. It reminded me of charades, only there was no actions and just words; just talking the talk, not walking the walk. After packing up and all, Marina drove me home. The end =).

愉快的第24个生日姐姐 / HAPPY 24th BIRTHDAY MARINA!!!

PS. Sarina made me chocolate cupcakes for my birthday. THANKS SARINA =D.
PSS. I won't be blogging for a while, due to my trials =). WISH ME LUCK!!!
