Simplicity at its finest is NOT what i would depict how my life was, nor would i suggest the continuation of my naivety however, as my life escalates into complexity, i hope to keep my optimistic hindsight on life in order to live. Just live. My personal ordeal is to live with no regrets, as though i will die tomorrow. I follow the path that will lead me to who I want to be: someone who people can confide in, to go to when they are in their deepest hour; that's who I want to be. That is my aim in life. Hobbies and interests make my path more flamboyant and enticing, while my family, pet, and friends are the reasons for my existence; the reasons why i try and improve myself. My lack of self motivation for change may be quite obvious, but it doesn't mean that improvement did not occur. It may be so petite, so small, that it's practically invisible, but i guarantee you, i do try. Indefinitely.

insomnia

28O7O9 - Mum's & Cindy Y.'s 17th Birthdays.
29O7O9 - Tim Tim's 18th Birthday.
3OO7O9 - Jessica P.'s 18th Birthday.

Today is just an update of my current situation. Since school started, many of my fellow classmates would agree that we are all deprived from sleep due to our assessments and school, in general. Yes, it's almost as if we're on the path to insomnia even though it's only been 4 days of school. What are we going do for the rest of the term? Trials, assessments, picnic, formal, HSC. The list goes on and on! Hence, I'm not sure if I'll be able to blog as much as I used to. I'll continue to blog, but there will just be a long time difference between them. So here's an update on what's been happening ever since school's started again:

  • CONGRATULATIONS to Miss Panteli for giving birth already and lucky for her, she only needed to suffer 4 hours of labor. Athena was brought into the world on 2OO7O9, 8:55PM =). Both are well and healthy, resting at home. I hope I can visit them soon xD.
  • Handed my English Assessment (I can't believe it was due on the first week *sigh*).
  • Went to the drama showcase and watched the drama students perform their individual and group works. It was a practice for their HSC. We cheered, we laughed, we blanked out but most of all, we were surprised by the talents of these individuals have in acting. GOOD LUCKIES for your HSC guys! I'm sure you'll do well, you still have time to improve =D.
  • Instead of cooking mum dinner, I half shouted her out to dinner ^__^'. It's nice to go out to eat once in a while on occasions like these =).
PS. I just realised that the guy who plays Edward Cullen, from Twilight, is the same guy who played Cedric Diggory in Harry Potter - Robert Pattinson.

'The Red War'

Screw Heartbreak Ridge Paintball and their rule about arriving there at 7:3OAM! Because of them, I had to wake up at 4AM! Can you believe it, 4AM?! Actually, I didn't even have to wake up at all because I didn't sleep... AT ALL! Since the holidays began, my sleeping patterns have alternated and hence, rather than sleeping, I was actually taking a shower at an ungodly hour, studying Biology, and laying awake on my bed, twisting and turning until the time came for me to get dressed. This was WORSE than waking up for camp, like seriously! It's almost worse than the historian students who had to wake up at 5 or 6 in the morning for their History tutorial, at the city somewhere!

Arriving at Cabramatta Station, I saw the others (Danny, Kelly, Joes, Wenyu, Lim, Andrew and Vu) and immediately I started complaining to Kelly and Joes about waking up at such an ungodly hour! I felt bad for making my mum drive me at such a time too! If only I had my Ps already, so I can drive myself out instead. Anyways, I shone my torch at Joes, since it him who booked the game. Yes, I brought my torchlight with me because 1. for a weapon in hand if I was to be attacked and 2. a source of light. I used it for neither, but Kelly and I sure had fun flahing people with it =). I would blame Danny for the organization but it was his extremely belated outing for his birthday, so I couldn't. Hence, Joes replaced his position >=].

We took the train to Blacktown, took 2 taxis to get to the location and got dressed. I don't know if I should be thankful that Kelly and I were females or not because we received more protection than the guys, but then it also seemed like we're too delicate and fragile to take in the pain which, in my opinion, made us look like wussies or something. I was still grateful though =). Kelly and the guys were making jokes about the cups and stuff hahaha! It was hilarious! The jokes were mostly about Joes since Kelly, believing that the cup was like 'bullet-proof,' kicked him in the nuts. Obviously, it still hurt. LOL!

I'd say we experienced the closest senario that was similar as being in the war. There were different game senarios where the opposite teams, black and green, had to touch the other team's weapon or flag. Danny, Joes, Kelly and Vu were on the green team while Wenyu, Lim, Andrew and I were on the black team. There were other people there as well, so there were more players to shoot. They were right when they said paintball was painful. Yeah, the first shot seemed to be the most painful out of all of them however, after a while it doesn't hurt anymore. I don't think it's being shot at that hurts most, I think it's mo re of the cramping, running and dodging. Talk about muscle exertion overdrive! Since I'm such an idiot, I dropped most of my anmos during the game T_T so that kind of killed my excitement for paintball. Vu did the same, but before the game, so he had to sit out the first game and get a refill for the next game. Unfortunately, I didn't have the same luck. If I was to play the next game, I'd have to buy new anmo. I chose saving my money for food over more anmo so I missed out the next game T_T. Wenyu said he could've gave me some since he bought more, but it's too late now *sigh*. Kelly got some paint on her t-shirt, which looked a lot like she was shot at LOL! Poor girl, I guess she didn't button her one piece high enough. During the second game, they had a game where they played as individuals (I forgot the name for that xO!) and it sounded really fun xD I wish I was there to see it however, I was the only lucky one to NOT have my shoes stained with red paint =). We could've stayed for the free pizza, but we couldn't bother to wait for another 2 hours for it to arrive. We decided to get our own food instead.

People,
Blacktown shopping mall is HUGE and HI-TECH! Kelly and I were facinated by the amount of technology they used in their mall, e.g. computerized directories and television in the food court. How awesome is that?! I wish our shopping mall is as hi-tech as that. I'll just have to wait another 20 years or so -.-'. Anyways, after an hour or so, we went home. I think Kelly and Danny would agree that we'd prefer laser tag over paintball because we're Asian (aka. CHEAP!) and there's nothing wrong about that =). Oh, and we have a whole different perspective and empathy for those brave soldiers who went to war. We feel for you people, maybe not as radical, but we do feel for you. War is horrible, advocate peace!

PS. I got red paint in my hair =.='!

this is not farewell

1OO7O9 - Patrick P's (Pat Pat) 17th Birthday. HAPPY BIRTHDAY PAT PAT!
14O7O9 - Kim L.'s 18th Birthday.

Surprise surprise, I saw an old friend on Thursday: Christine Ngo =). It sure has been a while since I last saw her. She didn't grow much since the last time I saw that girl, but that's okay =). I like her the way she is xD. So how did I see her again? It was at a Career Search Expedition at Western Sydney University at Bankstown. Lisa and Bich were having a competition of 'who can get the most postnotes' by the end of the day hahaha! Lisa won the match by 2, but then Kelly took one away and gave her a pen in exchange, even though Lisa didn't really want it, so she now beat Bich by 1.

Although we had our individual interest in specific lectures, we were always a few minutes too late, so Julie, Lisa, Bich and I went scabbing things ^__^'. Sarina and Maylina later joined us. A funny indicident happened later on between Lisa and this man from an electrician stall. We were actually more interested in the free sweets they were handing out, but in order to not look suspicious, we pretended to be interested in the course. However, seeing that we're females, and are unlikely interested in the course, he said " just take the sweets, you don't need to pretendthat you're interested," or somewhere along those lines HAHAHA! How embaressing for Lisa! We left the place before lunch, and took it easy in Biology, as usual.

Today was the last day of term 2, how uninteresting ... NOT! On the contrary, the day turned out to be quite eventfully, even from the beginning. The two business classes, Mrs Kerannovic and Mrs Ho, decided to combine classes and watch a marketing related video. It was only when the class have finally settled that Mrs Ho announced that she was waiting for show from Daryll. A dance, to be more exact. Apparrently, Daryll and Mrs Ho have lost a bet over the definition of a term. What teh term was, I have no clue. I think it was D.I.N.K.S? Keword: think. Anyways, Daryll seemed to have slightly sedated himself with alcohol before he came to school in order to have the guts to do this, or so he said. Smooth Criminal by Michael Jackson was the song Daryll danced to, and he did a great job entertaining us. A REALLY great job HAHAHA! He managed to perform some of the M.J. moves well too. It was even more hilarious when Mr. Titner was at the door, although he didn't realise that it was Daryll who was making us laugh, and not him. During the dance, Daryll was kind of 'seducing/charming' his way to Mrs. Ho.
E.G. throughing his black hat to her LOL! Mrs. Keranovic was laughing so hard, she was almost literally rolling on floor laughing! LOL! What a morning.

Who knew Mr. Donohue has a heart afterall =). He came into our English class to give Miss Panteli a bonquet of lilies. It was so sweet that we all went 'AWWWWWWWW!' Miss Panteli gave him a hug of thanks. Later on, we attempted to pry into her life more with questions like 'did your husband wanted a boy?' , 'was your husband jealous when he saw the gifts?' and 'did he give you anything?' We heward the answers to all our questions, except one: 'how did he propose to you?' I guess we'll just have to find out another day, another time. We can always ask Katrina to think of situations for us because she sure knows how to think of the most weirdest possibilities ever! We'll just have a laugh fest =). The answers were satisfactory to our ears anyways. We were his competition =). Like some of us said, he better step up his game if he wants to impress Miss Panteli any more. Oh, Miss Panteli was also telling us how her mother asked her to return the gifts to her students because it seemed like she was being selfish, making the young students (us) get her gifts and all HAHAHA! That sure was a funny comment. Of course we didn't leave empty-handed. Miss gave us ferrero rochers however, neither Katrina nor Miss had some because they are both allergic to nuts. We tried to prank her, for old times sake. Unfortunately, even when Mr. McKenzie was hiding, she did not surrender. You know why? 1. She did not want to since it was her last day at school for the year and 2. we left our bags in there, so we'll eventually have to go back. DAMNIT! Oh wells xD We can always play tricks on our substitute teachesr =). Oh, and we managed to give her the photo album, from the whole class, with our messages and photos in it. It was finally complete =) YAY!

No, we didn't forget Mr. Donohue. We gave him a surprise mimi party at lunch, with chocolate cake and donuts. He wasn't eager to 'unwrap' Daryll even though he was supposedly a 'birthday present' for him LOL! It's finally over. The assessments. The stress. The drama. It's all over - for this term anyways =). We still have another term left before our HSC T_T. It really isn't holidays for us. We still need to study for the trials for next term. Ngeh. Still, 2 weeks of flexible self-studying and relaxation isn't so bad, even if it is the 'winter' holidays. GEH I hate the cold =.='. I guess I should start studying soon *sigh*.

HAPPY HOLIDAYS EVERYONE!

PS. Thanks, see you soon and good luckies Miss Panteli/Paniku xD We all LOVE you!

πρώτος γεννημένος

It may not be the last day that I'll see Miss Panteli (AKA Mrs Paniku/Niku) but it might as well be. Gifts, food, speeches, cameras and tears played a huge role in Miss' baby shower from the entire of year 12 'O9 today. During our English double periods, our whole class contributed some memorable gifts to Miss Panteli, and as Annie said 'this is appropriate for the History and Memory module we're doing...,' and what not, Miss truely appreciated our efforts. All of us did contribue something, but Thomas, Stephanie, Katty, Annie, Jenny and Jackie managed to do a bit more than the rest. So, thanks to them, the baby shower was a success. There were numerous of other people who helped out a lot as well, especially Miss Simpsons. There was also Mitchell and Stephanie, who did the speeches, Antony and Bach who made a debut to Miss Panteli of 'I will remember you' by Ryan Cabrera (I had a blog made specifically about the lyrics earlier), and the teachers of the English and History staff room. Unfortunately, I don't really know the details so I can't say much but if I missed out anyone, I'm sincerely sorry. Honestly, thank you for your efforts. We will miss you, Miss. Mitchell was right about your 'maternal instincts,' because if you weren't there, lasting longer than most assistant year advisers, I don't think our grade will grow as much as we have now. Athena sure is lucky to have a mother like you, but 'we'll always be your first children,' as commented by Mitchell. I know our bond with you will last for a long time. I know this isn't goodbye, so for now I'll just say see you soon and good luckies =).
