Simplicity at its finest is NOT what i would depict how my life was, nor would i suggest the continuation of my naivety however, as my life escalates into complexity, i hope to keep my optimistic hindsight on life in order to live. Just live. My personal ordeal is to live with no regrets, as though i will die tomorrow. I follow the path that will lead me to who I want to be: someone who people can confide in, to go to when they are in their deepest hour; that's who I want to be. That is my aim in life. Hobbies and interests make my path more flamboyant and enticing, while my family, pet, and friends are the reasons for my existence; the reasons why i try and improve myself. My lack of self motivation for change may be quite obvious, but it doesn't mean that improvement did not occur. It may be so petite, so small, that it's practically invisible, but i guarantee you, i do try. Indefinitely.

attack of the marshmellows!

WHOA! Transformers 2 at IMAX was AWESOME! Yes, people got dizzy from watching one side of the screen to the next and yes, people got drowsy due to the untimely hour of the movie and yes, it wasn't in 3D. But hey, it was all worth it! So it's a-okay. The special effects were excellent however, some parts seemed a bit ... unrealistic, but majority of the time Michael Bay managed to pull it off without going OTT. Sam Witwicky (Shia LaBeouf) and Mikaela Banes (Megan Fox) looked hot together =D and Bumblebee was AWESOME! There were a few scenes where I almost cry because it was so emotional and sad. Thanh and My Linh actually cried in those scenes xD how cute. There were new characters and new machineries, I especially liked the grandpa decepicon who changed sides HAHAHA! Oh, and that blue toy truck was pretty funny too! Megan Fox was training him and all, it was hilarious! It's obvious that there's going to be a Transformers 3 in the future and I can't wait for it! I think I prefer the first movie, but that doesn't mean I don't like the second one. Both of them are awesome movies and one of my favourites. I'm not really bothered to talk and spoil it for everyone, so just surf the net and look for it, or go to this site for more information. Oh, and Linh was so nice as to buy the tickets for us =). Isn't she sweet?!

The city at night didn't look too bad. P!NK had her concert the same night we watched the movies. When we arrived at the city, the concert just finished. Anyways, I forgot to talk about the 'ride' to the city. OMG! It was seriously exhilarating and dangerous at the same time. The boys were having like a semi drag race or something. Ironically, a guy speeding passed us and after a couple of minutes driving, we saw the same guy getting caught by the police ROFLS! That sure hit the guys in the face. After that, the guys didn't speed... much =.=' no wonder why people were afraid of red P-platers. Thank God I was in Kenny's car when we came back. He didn't speed like the others =).

My Linh, Thanh, Me and Linh.

After a couple of minutes of taking luvos and all (at 5AM!), we hit the hay. I was with Linh and Thanh was with My Linh. Obviously, we didn't sleep straight away. Instead, we chat a bit before drifting off to sleep. Luckily Linh had an electric blanket and it was super warm! Oh yeah, lucky it wasn't summer either because I would've gotten myself a couple of mossie bites =).

After a couple of hours, I am woken up by the sound of Linh shuffling around her room, cleaning it up. Hence, unable to sleep any more, I decided to help her clean it up. I was so HAPPY that her room was finally clean! It definitely looked much neater after it was clean, but I think it's going to be a mess again after the party. Hours passed before we even realised it was evening already since we were all so busy getting everything ready for the party.

The party was pretty awesome, with the gigantic cake, the western/asian style BBQ, the mini bonfire, the roasting of marshmellows, then using them in a marshmellow fight, the sinking of the seats, the gift receiving process, the fights over the food, the annoying cute cousins of Linh's, the photos, the stealing of the eletric blanket, the card games and the jokes shared around. Yep, it was an awesome 18th birthday party in celebration of Linh's 18th. I've decided to use a different approach and illustrate the party with photos instead, rather than just rambling on about it =). I think it would be a more effective way of describing an event with you have visualisation of the occasion, so enjoy =).

Dissection: process of disassembling and observing something to determine its internal structure and as an aid to discerning the functions and relationships of its components.

Sorry about not blogging as much lately. It's just, I have no life, no outings and no cash on me... oh and my assessments are coming up. That's about sums up my explanation for my lack of blogs =). Anyways, I felt like commenting about today's experiment in Biology - dissection of a cow's eye. Let's just say that probing into certain areas of the deceased isn't one of my favourite activities, but Lisa was quite eager to do the experiment so it's all good =). As I thought, the experiment surely was fascinating and interesting, but I don't think I'd like to repeat it ^___^'. Sir was right about girls, well more like right about me, that they don't mind dissecting brains and hearts, but they mind dissecting eyes. Maybe it's because it's as though the eye is watching you ... ? Anyways, Cindy V. actually asked Mr. Ward to take two cow's eyes and pretend its his own LOL! It looked like those funny glasses with the fake eyes popping out only... he was wearing glasses, the eyes were actually real, and they weren't attach. You get my drift anyways xD! When Maylina said that "sir forgot his eyes," I almost thought she was talking about his real eyes, except maybe she was referring his glasses as eyes or something... she actually meant the cows' eyes which he bought for us. You know, every experiment we had with Mr. Ward always end up with something hilarious happening.

Oh! I almost forgot William's comeback for sir's comment today. This is just an approximation of how the conversation went:

Chiv: Hey what's the joke?
MKL: You know, the pupil (points to eye) and pupil, as in student (laughs).
Sir: Minhky, shut it or I'll poke your pupil. With a knife. Now, the cornea -
William: How do you poke a hole in a hole, when the pupil's already a hole itself?
(everyone laughs)

While I was at the school's library, I looked around me at the posters, the dust-collecting books, the other year 12 girls around me and I thought to myself "boy, am I going to miss this place or what?" Yeah, the term's about to end, the holidays are about to come and then it's the trials and then ultimately our HSC. Time tends to fly by when you don't notice things around you because your plate's so full but I guess I'm trying to make the time slow down a bit so I can take in everything before it's too late. I hope it's not too late.

My cousin, Marina, and I went and did some window shopping at Liverpool for my formal things, which is in October. Obviously, we didn't really find one that was comfortable, fashionable and at the right price however, we saw a beige bubble dress that we both liked but it was too long. We also saw this black short dress with a fantastic design at the bottom. If only we could combine the two... AS IF! One, I can't sew the sh*t and two, i am NEVER going to learn how to properly sew ... or am I? Anyways, so I came back empty handed *sigh*. I'm not too disappointed. I mean, I still have 3 months left before the formal and besides, I think my cousin and I had a nice bonding time today =) so I'm happy. Overall, thanks for the day Marina =).

PS. Subway is oh so GOOD! =) Don't forgot healthy, tasty, yummy, delicious, versatile, and .. did I mention tasty yet?

camping indoors

Ring ring. Ring ring.
"Hello?"
"Hello, may I speak to Fiona Woo please?"
"Yeah, I am..."
"Oh Fiona, It's me, Mrs. Rogers. I'm just informing you that the camp will be canceled tomorrow."
"What?"
"It's because the camping place is used as a quarantine site for the swine flu."
"Oh... Damn!"
"Yes. So tomorrow, you will just come to school but we' still do the activities in the hall. You can dress in mufty. Do you by any chance have Cindy Vuong's number?....."

THat was the devastating call which ruined my entire week. Due to the spreading of swine influenza, the place we were going to is used as a quarantine site for people who are unable to go home or to their designated location. So rather than being home sick and exhausted from the excitement, I'm annoyed and disappointed. What's even worse is that although Mrs. Rogers' going to give us another camp (in August... after our TRIALS =.=') we aren't going to receive a refund for the day we're NOT using up - we're only doing the other half of the activities, including the fun activities and and the field studies, which we haven't accomplish at school.

Mrs. Rogers permitted us to wear casual, I guess she was trying to make us feel better about not going to the camp. We listened to the HSC veteran markers/teachers and we did field studies of our first chosen subject. Biology was my first choice, and hence I went bug catching and plant observing for the field study. Okay, so we had pizza for free, but the day was still depressing. The school photos didn't actually helped either. Yes, Mr. Donohue finally was bothered enough to give us back our photos, unfortunately it just led to even more disappointment. Since I already mentioned about it earlier, I'm not bothered to continue ranting about it. Was it a good day yesterdsay? I'd give it a 4/10, but that's my opinion. Maybe other people found it enjoyable =P.

entertainment makes life fun

Isn't that just oh so adorable and funny? xD OH YEAH!!!

THANK YOU FOR THE GIFT 姐姐

If it wasn't for her and Edward, I'd still wouldn't have any portable device to listen to music to still! xD My other two devices (I-Pod shuffle and MP3 Player) doesn't work due to technical difficulties =.= Anyways! This is how my new MP3 Player looks like. I'm actually listening to music right now mwahahaha! I feel so happy! It was so nice of them to buy it for me even though there's nothing special going on =) It's only $10 altogether from E-Bay or something =). Pink isn't my thing, but I still like it anyways =).

My new Ministry Of Magic MP3 player =D.

Oh right! I almost forgot! Silly me =).

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO MR. WARD & MAXINE'S 17TH!!! LOL!!!

PS. Thank you Linh & ML for getting my phone back ^_____^' I'm so forgetful!
PSS. Would you consider saying 'a glass half full,' or 'a glass half empty'?
