Simplicity at its finest is NOT what i would depict how my life was, nor would i suggest the continuation of my naivety however, as my life escalates into complexity, i hope to keep my optimistic hindsight on life in order to live. Just live. My personal ordeal is to live with no regrets, as though i will die tomorrow. I follow the path that will lead me to who I want to be: someone who people can confide in, to go to when they are in their deepest hour; that's who I want to be. That is my aim in life. Hobbies and interests make my path more flamboyant and enticing, while my family, pet, and friends are the reasons for my existence; the reasons why i try and improve myself. My lack of self motivation for change may be quite obvious, but it doesn't mean that improvement did not occur. It may be so petite, so small, that it's practically invisible, but i guarantee you, i do try. Indefinitely.

FINALLY, A JOB!!!

You read that right =D !!! After years of looking for jobs, doing volunteer work to kill time and doing jobs that are only temporary, I have finally scored myself a casaul/part time job at Merrylands RSL Club. This is all thanks to Kelly, for telling me about the job, and Adrian, for being my referee =D. Thank you so much!!! I'm so excited =D !!! I kow it's not going to be easy since the exams are coming up, my assignments period is still not over and I have 2 weeks worth of clinical placements right after the end of the semester, but hopefully I can stick to the job and not get fired or something >.< !!! If you ever pass the RSL club, remember to come visit me =D. I'm doing customer service (I think? =S).

so begins the clinical placement

On the 27th of June, I started my clinical placement at Sydney Hospital and Sydney Eye Hospital with Paz, Ali, Rachel, Lauren and Claire, with Julie as our facilitator. Rather than talking about what happened every day, I'll just mention some highlights of my 2 weeks clinical placement.

  1. I say, waking up at 5:00 AM everyday was a pain but I eventually got used to it. I didn't have any problems sleeping earlier either since working for 8 hours each day, with 2 20-20 minutes long breaks only, and having to look after all those patients can be quite exhausting. But I don't regret it because it was a rewarding experience =).
  2. The very first patient we talked to was a young NZ man who practically opened his entire emotional, personal and spiritual life to us. I found it quite enlightening and thankful too for this rare opportunity. I never realised how open patients can be towards nurses; really, we are their advocates and I'm quite proud of that =). He said that our encounter was meant to be and I agree - there's no such this as coincidences.
  3. One of the elderly patients gave me a nickname; he named me Day 1, Day 2, Day 3 depending how many days it has been since I started my clinical placement. I found it quite endearing and appreciative because he bothered to remember how many days I've been at the hospital already =).
  4. I was following this young registered nurse (RN) one day and she was quite helpful; she gave me advices and criticisms, she really helped me realise all my flaws in my nursing care and technique, and helped me improve on my skills. As thankful and grateful as I was, I also couldn't help but feel incompetent, realising how little I actually knew about nursing care. Even the things that I thought I could do properly was proven to be not enough when providing care to actual patients. I felt disappointed for the rest of the day, but I quickly gained my enthusiasm again =). If I'm down, then it'll be evident in my care, and I don't want to make the patients feel worse than they already are.
  5. I didn't actually save a life, but I felt like I help prevent it from becoming worse. Paz and I were taking a patient's vital signs when we noticed how low his blood pressure was. We did it twice to make sure it wasn't a mistake. We also checked his observational charts to see if he usually have low blood pressure. His average systolic was around the 100s, so we realised something was definitely wrong. We were going to ask the RN who was in charge of the patient to check it for us, with a manual blood pressure machine, just in case but before we could ask that RN, another RN also noticed the low blood pressure score that we noted down so she went to take the patient's blood pressure manual instead. Thankfully, it was the machine's fault and it wasn't as dangerously low as we got in the first place. If it was genuinely that low, even with the manual blood pressure machine, then we would've activated PACE (which is like the procedure for an emergency in the hospital). I was happy that we did the right thing and managed to 'potentially save a patient's life' xD.
  6. There was an Aboriginal Appreciation Day of some sort at the hospital one day. We (USYD nursing students and facilitators) went to watch the performance, got a free badge and had free sausage sizzle and salad. We also went to a session to listen about the culture and health of Aboriginal people. It was interesting =).
  7. We also went to other sessions at the hospital. There was one that taught us how to use the vital signs machine and another taught us about wounds and how to care for it. I learnt quite a lot from those sessions =).
  8. Paz and I got to watch a cataract operation and wear scrubs. We thought we wouldn't be able to watch it and it was the last day of us working at the hospital, so we were a bit disappointed however; when we got back from our lunch break, the nurses were all saying how they were looking for us and all because we finally got permission to watch an operation. The last patient went up 20 minutes before we came back and we thought we were too late, so we were disappointed and sad, but a nurse brought us up there just to try and see if we can still make it. Lucky for us, the patient was still waiting in the waiting room =D, so we get to watch it. I wished we brought our phones with us so we could take photos of us in scrubs! Though, we did get to keep our disposable eye protectors =). It was disgusting but fascinating at the same time =D. At times, I just wanted to look over their shoulder to see what was really happening, but we just stuck to watching it on the TV screen instead. The screen was pretty clear (HD quality) but apparently, it was much clearer under the microscope O_O! It was actually a strange scene... It was more casual than I thought it would be, maybe a bit too casual... Like seriously! Soft classical/jazz music playing in the background; the anesthetic doctor was just sitting there, playing his sudoku O_O; sometimes, they would even pause and chat a bit =S. It really wasn't what I was expecting. Though, in such serious a situation with lots of pressure, I guess you really would need a bit of mild entertainment to ease the mind a bit.
  9. The stereotypical separation between nurses and doctors was blown away from my mind. I thought that doctors and nurses will have this definite separation between them due to their jobs, but I was proven wrong when I witness such friendly interactions between the nurses and doctors. The anesthetic doctor was nice and was very willing to answer all our questions and was detailed with his explanations =). Yes, some nurses and doctors do have this tense, inexplicable atmosphere around them sometimes, but most of the time, there was barely any hierarchy between them. Well, maybe Sydney Hospital is just a really friendly place =P.
  10. Julie, our facilitator, was a wonderful woman =). Her enthusiasm really helped encourage me a lot during the clinical placement, and seeing her as a nurse was quite inspirational. I admit, she really does love to talk and sometimes get so lost in the conversation that she forgets about what her nursing duty was, but it's quite endearing when I watch her talk so cheerfully with the patients; it really does bring a smile to my face =). Now that's what I call aesthetic knowing - the art of nursing. I'm very grateful and thankful that Julie was my very first nursing facilitator for my very first clinical placement. She really helped me a lot by giving encouragements and helpful advices. I wish she would go to USYD and teach us nursing. Even though it's over now, I still have her number, so it's okay xD.
  11. The very last day of clinical placements was Friday 8th, July. We spent half the day working on our booklets, discussing and talking about nursing related topics (well, most of the topics were related to nursing...) and bidding our farewells to the patients and RNs at the hospital. We gave a card to the RNs, and Ali was considerate enough to buy a card for Julie too. We all wrote in it before giving it to her. We spent our time inside this private room at the library. The room was called History Room (or something along those lines...) and it really did look like an old room, with a mantle, sofas, a wooden table with six chairs and a wall occupied with bookshelves, all of them had books, with no space to spare. After everything was done, we went to Lindt Cafe at the corner of Martin Place, across the Channel 7 building, and had lunch there. It was a bit expensive (especially the desserts), but it was worth it =). After lunch, we took a photo, exchanged emails and bid our farewells. Paz and I joined up with my friends after that, but I'll blog about it on another blog post =).

It was an exhausting 2 weeks of clinical, but I experienced many things that made it all worth while. It was definitely a rewarding experience, and you feel appreciated when the patients are thankful for your care. It's nice to know that I can be able to ease their pain or make them feel better. I regretted nothing, and wouldn't mind doing it again (even if I don't get paid, though it'd be nice if I did =P).

In a sea of dogs

Birthday shoutouts: 14O511 - Kelly's 19th ; 15O511 - Shirley L.'s 19th; 22O511 - Titan's 19th; Peter D.'s 20th.

Last Sunday, Karen and I volunteered for the Million Paws Walk event. Karen was the one who informed me about the event. Unfortunately, there was track work that morning, so we took the bus to Lidcombe station at 6:20AM in the morning =___='. It was freezing cold!!! I wore 3 - 4 layers of clothing, a scarf, mittens, and 2 pairs of socks and I was STILL cold =____=. Yep, winter's definitely coming. We then took the train from Lidcombe station to Olympic Park station, where the event was held. We signed in and waited for our leaders to take us to our booths. Karen was doing cupcakes while I was doing competitions. We waited for 15 - 20 minutes but still no one showed up so we decided to look for the booths ourselves. After we found where our booths were located, we went to our separate activities. I honestly didn't help much.

 Competition booth.
Karen and I.

There wasn't much that we could do at our booth besides waiting for customers. I helped stick up photos, but that's about it. I guess the cold weather was draining my excitement away. But then it came back as more and more cute looking dogs came to the competition booth. They were all just so damn adorable! When I saw one of my team members taking photos, I couldn't help myself and started taking photos too. There was a particularly cute puppy that I saw. It was a brown poodle and it was only 3 - 4 months old. The owner said that it cost her $800 O_O pure breed I'm assuming. We encouraged them to enter it, but they didn't. What a shame =(. It would've won, without a doubt. I swear, it looked like a bear plushie, it didn't even sound like a dog when it was crying. IT WAS SO CUTE xD !!!!!!!! I just wanted to steal it and run away with it xO !!! Afterward, I just went around taking photos of dogs and encourage them to enter their dogs in the competitions. I had quite an exercise taking photos of the dogs seeing that most of the time they're too excited to sit still.

The adorable 3 - 4 months old poodle puppy =).

The weather got warmer as it reached the afternoon. To warm myself up even more, I went to get a cup of hot chocolate. While I was waiting in line, there were these HUMONGOUS dogs I've ever seen, well... beside the greyhounds. But these are dogs I've never seen before. Well, there were a lot of dogs I haven't seen before, but at least I know what they are from photos. These dogs, I had no idea what breed it was (something that ends with burger... I swear it did, that' why I remembered it). The owner said that it's a rare breed or something like that. It looked kind of like a German Shepherd, but a bigger and fluffier version. Well, anyways, I was scratching the bigger one on the side and I guess it liked the way I was scratching it, so it sat down (on my foot...) and sandwiched me between itself and the cafe counter ... It was quite hard to turn around seeing my back was against the counter and all. I know I'm not that tall to begin with, but it's like 1/2 - 3/4 my height or something O_o.

The huge dog! To other 'normal' people, it's up to their waist; to me, it's up to my chest...

I went to visit Karen when the walk began at around 10/11AM and then went back to taking more photos =). There was a particularly adorable chihuahua that got attached to me. It was so cute and scared of the other dogs, it crawled onto my lap and stayed there AWWW I wish I could keep it, but I had to put it down =/. After the walk, it was the competitions. There were 3 competitions: a) cutest pet; b) owner look-alike; and c) best dressed. I felt bad for the judging of the cutest pet because it was quite short. All the judging for the competitions were short =/. Some people even missed out because they were late. I also felt bad for them too but then again, they should've been there at the start. Though, some people were late because of the walk. Anyways, out of all the judges, all I remember was Dr. Katrina. She had adopted a dog for herself too (not from the event though, it was from before) and she was judging the cutest pet. The judges chose the best 5 and the audience chooses the winner. I don't remember who won the cutest pet nor do I think I have a photo of the dog. However, I DO know that for the owner look-alike, it was the superman Labrador and a boy who won (I wanted the clown dog and the girl to win though. Both the superman dog and the clown dog were wearing matching costume as the owners) and I think it was because he was child compared to the girl; and for the best dressed, it was the 2 dogs who dressed up as policemen.

The chihuahua that got attached to me =). It's actually sitting on my lap in that photo.
Dr. Katrina.
 Best dressed winners.
Pet look-alike. It looked more like best dressed to me...

Since the competitions ended early, the competition booth packed up early too. I went to Karen's booth and waited for her to finish. I ate some cupcakes while I was at it. I also bought some doggie treats for Toby and watched how they wash the dogs and what the heck they were doing to make the poor things scream in despair. Turns out that the dog(s) just really hate water. The one I was watching hated it so much that it was crying and clawing and biting into the mat. It was an interesting sight to behold. I also went to the adoption area and saw the dogs up for adoption. I even saw a poster of a chihuahua of 5 months old for adoption. What kind of person or mother would abandon such a young puppy?! But I guess it will be bought quickly since people prefer young dogs than old ones. Most of the dogs were 1 or 2 years old. There was even one that was 5 years old. There was also a rooster who was up for adoption too O_o. There was this particular adoption dog that was quite friendly towards me. It was very energetic and it makes me smile when I look at it =). I wish I could keep it, but I already have Toby =/. I hope they all find good homes. Mum said I should've brought Toby along. I thought I couldn't since I was volunteering. Maybe I will next year =).

Cupcakes =). I was going to take them home, but I waited too long for Karen that I ate them all there on the stop anyways, as lunch =P.

Afterward, Karen and I just went home with our free bags and movie voucher as a reward for helping out with the event. There were also other things in the bag too like caps, sunscreen, pen and wet wipes =). My assignment was due the next day and I was extremely tired but I had fun. I had no regrets =). Also, I've never seen so many dogs in my life xD.

PS. because I kept missing up the genders of the dogs, I decided to call them 'it' in my blog post instead.
PSS. There were these 2 girls who had rats for pets. That's the only other type of animal that I've seen at the event, besides dogs. I was amazed =D!
PSSS. Throughout the day, we had these duo singing and playing the guitar on stage for us. They had pretty good taste in music, according to my team members anyways =).

rain another year

O2O411 - Jeffrey's 19th & Raymond D.'s 20th Birthday.
O7O411 - 爸爸's Birthday.
O8O411 - Jack's 20th Birthday.

Last Sunday, I went to the Bring It On Festival, at the Fairfield Show ground, with Karen. It wasn't as crowded as last year, but it was nice to see how strongly they were advocating health amongst the community =); I, myself, managed to bring home half a bag full of them... well, kind of since I ate half of it before I brought it home ^_^'. I did the skipping rope challenge and only made it to 3 minutes and 21 seconds =(. If I made it to 5 minutes, i would've gotten a basket ball or a soccer ball. I was able to take home a skipping rope or a handball, but I already have both, so I just took extra peaches instead =D (which were free to begin with). By the way, I actually skipped barefooted because I was wearing platforms, and I don't think wearing platforms while skipping would've been very comfortable. Apparently, Karen said that I kept on moving up and down the place instead of staying in one spot hahaha I guess I unintentionally did that when I avoided stopping my skipping routine.

I also had American churros (which is kind of like a stick version of a cinnamon donut, with filling inside), mango flavoured snow cone and hot dog. I kind of regretted ordering the hot dot after I saw all that oil on the frying pan =S. We went around collecting freebies as well, and even had a free hand massage =D it was like heaven *sigh*. Seeing that we couldn't decide what to get for our mothers for Mothers' Day, we decided to make them this smelling bath soap ourselves; they were giving free lessons in the Women's section. We also met and talked to Adrian a couple of times. I didn't see many ex-volunteers from the years before =/ I guess they didn't bother this year.

We went home at around 2:30 PM because it started raining. Unfortunately, my mum was busy at home so Karen's mum was nice enough to give me a lift home =). Maybe I should've said to drop me off at Stocklands instead so I could use my $20 voucher straight away =D. But it would've been lonely shopping by myself ... eh, it doesn't matter anymore =).

Later that night, at around 5:30 PM, we went to SuperDish, at Cabramatta to celebrate my uncle's birthday. Coincidentally, Vicky was working on that day. Well, actually, I half expected that, seeing that it was a weekend and all lol =). My cousin, Marina, and mum also noticed she was working that night too =). I thought I would feel awkward, eating with my family and having a friend working there, but it didn't feel awkward at all. Maybe it was because she was too busy, and I was just minding my own business with my family. I did kept a look out for her every now and then though =) and she did talk to me a bit when she got to our table =). The food wasn't bad, but the pipis/clams disappointed me =( half of them were just shells, and I'm sure we're supposed to have more than the amount that they gave us... well, in comparison to the bowl I saw another table had the last time I ate there >.> ... Ah, it didn't matter, I and an enjoyable night =).

I joined my cousins to Woolworth after dinner and saw Carina =D. I wonder how long she's been working there already. I wish I worked there =(. Strangely enough, Marina asked me that I must not really like my mum because I followed them instead of my mum. Initially, I thought it was because I felt more comfortable, seeing that I was closer to their ages than my mum and my relatives' ages. Or am I just turning a blind eye to the distance between my mum and I? I thought it was decreasing, but now I don't know anymore. I'll just think about it another night.

State Election

Last Saturday, I worked for the state election. I worked at the Cabra Vale Leisure Centre but initially I thought I was working at Cabravale Diggers because of the 'Cabravale' part. It was only recently that Cabra Vale Leisure Centre became a polling area. Maybe because it's recent, not that many people knew about it, or they just rather go to a place where they're used to going. So by the end of the day, less than 300 people voted at our place and hence, we get to go home earlier than most people =). I wish it was more busy, but it wasn't so bad. There were boxing bags there so we just exercised while we waited for people to come. I also had fun talking to the liberal scrutineers for our location; Michelle and Christine. I wonder if I'll ever see them again =).
Anyways, Dai Le received the most votes in our location but overall, it was Nick Lalich who won the seat for Cabramatta. Apparently, for this year's state election, Liberal won with 67 seats, Labor with 18 seats and others (Independent groups) with 3 seats. Bummer. Well, Labor has been running the government for the last 16 years. I guess people felt a need for change.

"can I have the red slushie with an umbrella on top please?"

Andrew was about to say that, seeing that neither of us knew what the drink was, before Long stepped in and bought the drink for me instead =). Before I get to that, I'll talk about how my day went.

Just yesterday, I drove to Parramatta, with my mum, for a job interview at Michel's Patisserie. The one I went to was level 5. At first, I couldn't have the interview because they were just too busy so they told me to come back an hour or two later. Mum and ! went shopping for Paz's earphones before stopping at the food court for lunch.

I decided to have Subway for lunch and guess who I saw? YIBO =D !!! Actually, when I saw him in a distance I thought he looked familiar, but when he was serving I was thinking 'what... is that who I think it is?' I didn't say hi because I was too surprised and I wasn't 100% sure if it was him either. Previously, I mistaken a stranger as a friend, so not wanting t embarrass myself, I just kept staring at him. I'm pretty sure he knew I was surprised too, from my face, because he said 'yeah' which sounded like it was short for 'yeah, I work here.' But after that, he asked me what i wanted, without saying hi, so I thought I got the wrong person. But throughout the whole process I kept on looking at him to see if it really was him. At the end, before I could even ask if he was Yibo, he went to serve another customer (it was pretty busy after all), so I asked his work mate instead. "Excuse me, is that Yibo?" "Yeah" *gasps!* So I didn't mistake a stranger for him =). When I was about to pay, the work mate said that Yibo would should me =D !!! THAT'S SO NICE OF HIM !!! I said my thanks and ran back to my mum to tell her about it. But when I started eating, I started to doubt if I heard wrong or something =S because I didn't think he would treat me seeing that we don't talk to each other that often. Either way, I was really grateful =) it was the best turkey foot long subway I've ever eaten xD. THANKS YIBO =) !!!

After lunch, I went back to the shop and the manager came out to talk to me. Apparently, they didn't call me in =S. IT WAS THE WRONG SHOP >.< !!! I quickly called back the number and asked what level they were and they said they were level 1 *sigh* so mum and I quickly went down to level 1. When I did my job interview, all they asked about was what nationality I was and what days I could work. The manager also asked if I could work at 6AM =S feeling kind of desperate, I said yes *sigh*. So now, he's going to call me in for a trial. I really do hope I don't seriously have to go to work at 6Am if I did get the job.

We went home afterward. Half an hour later, Andrew and Adrian came by to pick me up for dinner. They said that they wanted to catch up with me, and seeing I haven't really talk to them in a while, I said yes =). Cassandra was supposed to come too, but she never replied to their text messages. We went to Mounties and then later down to the bar and pokey area. Both Adrian and Andrew bought me drinks for the entire night =) I was thankful for that.

 Adrian and I.
Andrew and I.

I had 2 beers (both different types of beer) and a raspberry vodka with slushie, strawberry and zest pieces. I like the raspberry vodka because it tasted fruity and it had strawberries in it =). And like I said earlier, we didn't know what it was called, so Andrew was about to ask for the 'red slushie, in the martini glass, with an umbrella' or something like that LOL! But in the end, it was Andrew's friend who bought it instead since he knew what it was called. Andrew actually caught up with a group of friends at the bar, coincidentally, so we all conversed for an hour or so before splitting up. Andrew, Adrian and Andrew's friends went to play this Gladiator game where you just knock off your opponent off the stand. Andrew kept on losing =P. It can't be helped since he was the shortest out of the guys hahaha.

I got home at 12AM. Many thanks to Andrew and Adrian for driving me home. I had a great night =).

my first DIY pancakes

Yes, you've read it right. I've never made pancakes before until yesterday afternoon. After a job interview at McDonalds at Stockland, Prairiewood, Linh and I did a bit of shopping around. Maybe I shouldn't have since I was suppose to be saving up money for the holidays. I bought quite a few summer clothes that I plan on wearing to Malaysia =). Anyways, big thanks to Linh for driving me there and for lending me money for my shopping. To repay her, I treated her to lunch, which she didn't end up finishing *sigh*. Then I finished the rest for her >.> ... couldn't help it since I didn't have breakfast or lunch yet.

After buying pancake mixture, we headed off to Anthony's house seeing that he lived so close to Stockland. I made my first pancakes at his house yay!!! It may not look edible, but it was! I burnt a couple, but I end up eating them anyways, so the other two didn't have to suffer my horrible cooking =P. Anthony attempted flipping his pancakes; he failed the first time but succeed the second time. After pancakes, we just watched a couple episodes of various animes and played on his brother's piano =).

Around 4:30PM, we went back to Linh's house to wait for the government inspection, but they already came. So I just ended chatting to Linh and My Linh for a couple of hours before Linh drove me home. Linh's mum included dinner for me as well but unfortunately, I couldn't eat it because I was too full from earlier =( I feel bad, I'm sorry! Up until yesterday, I always finish the meals that Linh's mum made for me. Sometimes, I do wish I grew another stomach =S I did manage to eat some mangoes though. How? Maybe either because it was mangoes or because it wasn't a meal. Either way, the mangoes were delicious =D. After Linh drove me home, I paid her back for the clothes and also included a deposit for paintball. YAY! Paintball =D! I know I said that I prefer laser tag over paintball, but it's been so long since I've been to one. This will be my second time going =). Hopefully, I won't spill all my ammunition before I finish my game, like last time =S.

Anyways, I don't think I'll be updating again for the next two weeks seeing that I'm on STUVAC right now, and next week I'll be having my exams. Wish me luck though =).

political drama

In the last minute, I was offered a position, by the AEC, as an Official Polling Assistant at Lansvale East Public School  on polling day. The pay was good but of course you'd have to work for it. I brought a pillow but I didn't use it at all since I was assigned to different jobs. There wasn't just one job to do; I had to look after the ballot boxes, mark people off the lists, and there was counting the citizens and assigning them to one of the three tables but I didn't get to do that one.

Looking after the ballot boxes was easy but tiring since there's no chair for you to sit on. The marking job provided you a chair but I think it was more intense because there were so many names to look through and it was your obligation to mark off the right person. Also, if the citizens was having a bad day, you'd be the first to experience their anger. I made one mistake when marking names off.

A man came in and told me his name, but apparently he had the exact same name as his son except he had an extra middle name. I accidentally marked off his son instead of him. Thank God his son came later so I was able to mark off the father's name instead since his name was already marked off. So in the end, it was all good.

Although there were many votes and Senate ballots were extremely long, I had the most fun counting the votes. Well, not exactly the unfolding part, but the counting part. At our polling location, for House of Representatives Liberals and Labor were pretty close; Labor won by just 10 votes, literally. One of the older workers said that it was the first time he's seen such a small difference between the parties. Unfortunately, he also said that there were much more donkey votes than he's ever seen. I felt bad because those donkey votes could've made a huge difference between the parties if they were counted. For once, I thought politics was exciting, seeing how close the votes were. I even stayed up at home that night to check how the numbers were for the seats. That night, it was 72 Labor and 71 Liberal. As you know now, Liberal's in the lead now. Apparently, it was the first hung parliament since post WWII *gasps*!

We spent hours counting and recounting the votes to make sure that there were no mistakes and that the votes balanced out with the number of people who entered the polling place. Apparently, there were 10 votes missing. I'm not completely sure why but things happen, like people accidentally bringing their ballots with them, or accidentally chucking in the bin, etc.

It was a long day; from 7:30AM to 10:30AM, so about 15 hours. Since the pay was a certain amount, no matter how much longer I stayed after the polling, I wasn't going to get an O.T. double rate. So thankfully, I only stayed behind for 3 more hours. Unfortunately, some places had to stay back til 1:00AM to recount the votes over and over again to make sure it balanced.

It was a tiring day, but I'm willing to try again for next year's State elections =). I wonder, if they really can't decide which party would run the government, and that we'd have to vote again, would I get hired again and get paid the same amount again? I wouldn't mind if that happened =D.

my first sashimi boat =D

O4O81O - Elliot's 20th
O7O81O - Jessica T.'s 19th

Saturday was a busy day. Animania workshop with Tony. What sucked was I had to wake up at 7AM to catch a bus, and then a train, to Redfern because there was track-work *sigh*. I should thank Tony for joining me in the morning though since his workshop actually start at 1PM. I made some acquaintances, and had fun playing games. I was surprise to see Geelong and Danger there, but it was nice to see a familiar face =). I'm helping out as a backstage crew, though I wish I chose maid cafe instead. It's the first time Animania was including maid cafe into their activities. You can cosplay AND get free entry into the event =D. I saw it, but I didn't choose it because I thought you weren't really going to dress up, or rather than dressing up yourselves, you help other people dress up ... anyways, I don't know what I was thinking. I chose backstage because I'll be able to see the cosplay performers =D! YAY!

Since Tony waited for me for 2 hours, it was right to wait  for him for 2 hours as well. It wasn't too bad, I just fell asleep on the couch. After the workshop, Tony and I went to the city to eat. We were going to go to Ichi-ban to eat but it was really crowded. So we went to look for Jess's present instead. I know, it was a late-minute present. Eventually, I found an almost perfect present: a book with 'Witch' and 'Son of a Witch' combined =D. As most people know, Wicked is an excellent musical. It's a shame that it's going to end soon *sigh*. Unsure if Jessica would have the chance to watch the musical, I bought her the book instead. We went to the food court to eat and after that, Tony and I  went our separate ways. He went home while I stayed at the city til it was time for Jess's birthday dinner.

The dinner was at Shoyu, a place which I've never been before. It was a Korean and Japanese restaurant owned by Korean people. Altogether, it was $25/person. It was a tad expensive to what I usually pay for but it was worth it. There was a lot of food and for the first time in my 18 years of living, I had a sashimi boat =D. Of course, other things were delicious as well, like the dumplings we had for entree. We most ate Japanese food for dinner, but our last 2 plates were Korean. I must say, I should learn not to put too much wasabi on my salmon =_=". I couldn't stay to go clubbing with Jess, but I hope she had a great to with everyone else. Being out from 8AM - 11:30PM can take a lot out of a person!

Craving for more sashimi, Wendy, Eric and I went to the sushi train at Market City to satisfy my appetite on Monday night. We could've joined up with Derek at Paramatta, but he had an assignment due soon. Good luck Derek =D! I admit, I'm a pig. Most of the plates were mine. Thankfully enough, Eric was generous enough to shout for most of the meal. So we had 23 plates altogether, $3/plate. You MUST try the fried prawn/chicken/scallop/etc. whatever else they can fry because it's just mouth-watering! There was another dish that was really good too! Unfortunately, it was chicken... I ate it without knowing T_T so when I went to order another plate and saw the name of the dish, my heart shattered; a) I ate chicken that was most likely not free range and b) I couldn't eat it anymore T_T. It was chicken sushi with sweet and sour sauce and mayonnaise/melted cheese on top T______T maybe if I can just take the chicken out and just have the seaweed and rice with the sauce topping... *sigh*

AHAHAHA!!! Before I forget, I felt sorry for Eric to eat with the world's 2 most clumsy and messy eaters AHAHAHA! I was pouring soy sauce into my dish, but then I accidentally bump it over, and then later Wendy did the same thing except hers dripped down to the floor as well ROFLMAOS! *sigh* Thankfully, I wasn't wearing a light coloured top, or else it would've been stained, as usual.

Tonight, mum took me to Cabravale Diggers to have an early celebration for my birthday tomorrow seeing that I had a society meeting tomorrow evening. I do miss eating their salad with french vinaigrette dressing, but their mashed potatoes seemed different from before. I think they baked it O_o. I think I prefer it as it was before. Anyways, another night well spent =).

PS. Thanks Princess for the photos.

O-week

23O21O - Danny K.'s 17th Birthday.
25O21O - Jenny K.'s 18th Birthday.
27O21O - Amy H.'s 20th Birthday.

Monday: It was my 2nd last bridging course and Kevin was nice enough to give me a tour of the university after class =). I had a fun time exploring the place though I preferred a cooler weather than a sunny 29 degrees Celsius.

After the tour, Kevin taught me how to play pool =D After an hour's worth of games, although Kevin wasn't the best pool player, versing against an amateur like me guaranteed him the wins of every game we played =P. It was a pretty fun day overall, so thanks Kevin for the tour and the game =).

Tuesday: YAY! My completion of my bridging course was rewarded with a certificate... and a survey. It was okay because class was an hour sort and the survey didn't take that long to finish =).

My next destination was my Nursing and Midwifrey faculty welcoming. I was an hour late, but the welcoming only lasted for 2 hours rather than the said 5 hours O_o. There I met up with Rebecca and I also discovered that Henry L. Tran was also doing the same course as me =D! YAY! I have a friend in my course =D! I don't think our timetable will be the same, but at least we're doing the same course together =D. Also, hopefully for next year's clinical nursing practices, I'll be able to adjust my timetable around to be in the same classes with Rebecca =D!

After the welcoming, Rebecca and I head off to the city to have lunch at Pepper Lunch before meeting up with Karen and Mimi at Kinokuniya. As we left the place, Mimi and I decided to go home while Karen and Rebecca decided to go karaoke. Another day over.

Wednesday: I know USYD's o-week was starting today, but I went to UNSW's o-week instead with Vicky, Eric and Julian instead =P. We missed the amazing race activity so we went on a tour around the campus instead =). I'm sure the amazing race would've been a really fun activity but I had fun playing the games/activities provided by the tour guides, so I guess it wasn't so bad missing out the race =). I must say, the freebies of UNSW is WAY better than USYD any day >=) Why? Free food.
It's funny how you ask the most questions when you're not even going here. - Vicky Fong.
Yes, I wonder too. The UNSW volunteer students kept asking me what course am I doing. I know it's a typical question to be answered by a UNSW student - but I'm NOT a UNSW student. So it always end up like this:

UNSW volunteer student: So, what course are you doing?
Fiona: Oh, I don't go here.
UNSW volunteer student: Oh, okay. What uni are you going to then?
Fiona: USYD. UNSW doesn't provide the course I'm doing.
UNSW volunteer student: Really? What course is that?
 Fiona: Nursing, so yeah ...
UNSW volunteer student: Oh, that's a shame ...

It always ended up with something along the lines of 'it's a shame that you can't go here.' Honestly, in junior years, I've always wanted to go to UNSW because both my cousins went there, but I thought it through. Just because they went doesn't mean I have to go there as well. Besides, the architecture of USYD captured my attention =P. It MAY be a silly reason to choose USYD but who cares. Here I am, a USYD student.

It was also nice seeing Nathan and Wilson =D. They were handing out V.I.P cards for Verandah Bar GAH! I should've done that too xO!!! I need to try harder with this promoting thing =_=!

Thursday: After experiencing a day of UNSW o-week, it's only right to experience my own uni's o-week as well. I met up with Kelly and we both went exploring =). I joined Access and got a free show bag =D. Luckily for Kelly, Kevin gave me his show bag token when he renewed his, so Kelly got a free show bag as well even though she didn't join Access =P. NO FREE FOOD >=( !!! But they provided Coke Zero. I still would've preferred food over drink.

Anyways, because I joined Access, I was able to join the uni clubs/societies as well =D! There were so many that I wanted to join but I didn't have enough money on me to pay for the membership fee. Hence, I was only able to join 2 clubs: SU Anime Society and Animal Welfare Society. Besides, I don't think I would've been able to go to all the club meetings if I joined to many.

We saw Vincent, Matthew and Tu around. Apparently, Tu and Matthew were also going to USYD as well =D YAY! More USYD friends =D. Oh, speaking of friends, I made a new friend, Danny, who used to go to Kelly's tutor =) YAY! Another friend =). Everything else was just freebie collecting and scabbing food from the free BBQs =).

Friday: Got tired of uni, so I stayed home instead =).

Saturday: Yesterday really wasn't my day =.=. My optometrist was out for lunch when I went there to get my glasses and I couldn't wait for them to come back because I had to catch the bus to Bankstown. Yes, which means there was track work that day as well =.=. Another thing was that the post office was closed >=( which means I couldn't ask them to check for my student ID tracking number xO!!! Uni's about to start and I STILL don't have my student ID! It's been about a month, or more, since I enrolled GRRR! I feel so angry!

Anyways, so why did Kelly and I need to go to Bankstown? It's because we were going for a job interview for Le Warp. Hopefully, we'll get the job. I feel like I signed away my social life when I wrote my name down... Yes, I know I've been searching for a job for months but since uni is going to start, my weekends will be my only free days to just relax or to see my high school friends. If I work on those days, my free time will be reduced to next to nothing *sigh*. I shouldn't worry =) I shall find a way to work around it. Besides, it's not definite that I'll get the job anyways. Still, wish me luck anyways =).

work hard, party hard

14O21O - Thanh H.'s 18th Birthday. HAPPY BIRTHDAY !!!

HAPPY CNY & VALENTINES EVERYONE =D !!!

So a few things happened this. For one, I finished one week of my maths bridging course YAY!!! Another 7 days to go ... Luckily, unlike UNSW, we don't have a test at the end of the course, and compared to UTS, our classes goes for every consecutive weekday while theirs is every day =D. On the plus side for UTS, their bridging course is for free =.= Lucky!

On Thursday night, I had a pre-CNY dinner at our usual restaurant. The food was good, as usual, but it seems like the service went downhill O_o. I think they need better waiters. Chit chat, here and there. Nothing interesting to mention. After dinner, Marina and I went back to her apartment (A?N: She's now living in with her brother, William) while William took our parents to run some tests on them for his Ph.D assignment. Ah, I sure love their apartment xD it's cosy, stylish and modern. When I have a house, I want it to be similar to theirs, though with a more family feel to it =).

After Friday's lessons, I met up with Jessica and her niece, Cian, and did a bit of shopping with them =D. I had fun 'testing' my nails with the samples =D (A/N: don't you just love shops and their testers? It was convenient for me because I was going to go clubbing the next night and the theme is red =D). I think the sales people are annoyed with me now .. ^_^'.

Also it's been ages since I took capitols =D Though taking photos is fun, you can't actually stick it on things, make the photo smaller or even decorate =P ahh, I sure miss those days where we spend plenty money on miniature sticker photos *sarcasm* But I wouldn't mind taking them once in a while for fun =). It's one of the best ways to kill time at the city when you have nothing to do =). We also when to Prize Paradize and I must say, Cian is quite good at skills testers =D She got a bag full of toys all by yourself =D. Speaking of Cian, she is such a funny, talkative girl =).

Cian: a;klsdfja;sfkjsadf it's like a g-string for your feet. akfja;dfkjad uncomfortable to wear a;ksdfja;sfd rain and gets dirty.
Jessica: Yeah, that's why it's called a thong!
Jessica and I laughed.

Cian's mother, Jessica's sister, was such a warm person =D She hugged and thank me straight away for taking care of her daughter hahaha xD She's more welcoming than most Asian parents. Well, she IS a designer, so she would be less conventional that older Asian parents. Then Jessica and I trained it back home. It took longer than expected because we apparently took the wrong train, so we had to change trains =.=. Oh, and the weather for that day? RETARDED! Extremely hot at first, and then raining hard afterward =.= It's like the calm before the storm, literally.

Saturday night came; it was time to party >=). First stop was to Peter D1.'s farewell party. He's going to Thailand for a gap year =D. I wish I could travel to Thailand! I hope he'll take care of himself anyways =D and have heaps of fun! I couldn't stay long because I had to catch the train to get to Veranda Bar early (A/N: I'm a promoter for them, so if you're planning to go clubbing, don't be shy to ask me about it =D I can even provide you V.I.P cards!). Overall, I had fun socialising and catching up with everyone from school. It's amazing to see Brandon there hahaha =D I never realised how connected he was >=D. I wish I stayed longer because I'm sure I missed out heaps of  things that must've happened after I left =(. Still, thanks for the invitation Peter =D.

It sucks that I missed the limited stops train by 30 seconds =.= and hence, Vicky and I waited another 20 minutes for the next limited stops train. Although we made it to the club before 10:30PM, we got in afterward so she had to pay $20 =(. On the positive side, we got a free rose YAY! For both of us, it was our first clubbing experience, so we weren't sure what to do. The place was definitely clean, with strong security, so that was a good thing. Tables and walls were decorated with rose petals and cardboard love hears, strongly emphasizing the red in CNY/Valentines.

I met a few friends and the club, which I know were under my guest list, so I definitely know I made some money that night xD YAY! I also received a red pocket from Vinson by wishing him 'Cong Hai Fa Choi' =D. I wished it was money, but it was a free drink coupon, DAMNIT! I should've used it on the night as well lol! Thanks anyways =). Though, I did use the one I received another one from Wilfred, my team leader =D thank you! I'd tell you what I ordered, but I don't remember the name. All I remember from the description the bar tender gave us was 'pineapple' and 'not that alcoholic' =P. I had a sip of each of the drinks Kenny had and the only ones I remembered was vodka with redbull and Jack Danielles. I thought the vodka with redbull tasted nice =P. There was even one that tasted like cough medicine O_o. My team leaders wanted to get me wasted but luckily, I didn't. I only stumbled a bit because my feet was aching from all the dancing LOL! I think I need more practice with the heels. Though, I do wish I took photos last night but none of us had a camera that night =.= . I was wearing glittery, silver eyeliner =D IT WAS SO SHINY!!! Oh, and note to self: buy contacts earlier. I ended up wearing my glasses because my optometrist closed early for CNY and Vicky didn't let me not wear my glasses because she didn't want me to walk blindly around the club. Photos can be viewed from this website (facebook page of the CEO of the club xP).

I saw Nathan =D YAY!!! But I didn't see his date NO!!! Well, hopefully there will be a next time =). I managed to make a couple of new friends =D which is a good thing because being a promoter for a club means increasing your social networks and improving your social skills =P. I need to get tips of Nathan because he's a natural at this =D. Hopefully, he'll get off probation soon so he could help me xD !!!

There were a few interesting things that happened at the club, but I'll just leave it blank hehehe =). It'll only be between Vicky and I. If you're desperate, then you can ask me, but that doesn't necessarily mean I'll definitely tell you =P. Hint: alcohol - induced males.

Me, Vicky, Kevin and Diana.
Michael, me and Vicky.

The only thing I regret is not being able to have a CNY eve dinner with my family =(. I haven't had one in AGES. I know I said we had a pre-CNY dinner, but this one is actually at my Aunt's house, where the parents do the cooking. My mum went but unfortunately, I didn't =(. Hopefully, there will be another one next year.

Captain Fantastic wants his beer, pronto!

1OO21O - Mark's 18th Birthday, HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!
11O21O - Raymond T.'s 18th Birthday.
12O21O - Rebecca C.'s 18th Birthday.

You know I got you good Thanh xD !!! You so believed that the beer I promised you was actually the beer image on your birthday card HAHAHA! But I kept my promise; I got you the Heiniken you wanted oh so desperately xD. Anyways, I hope had an awesome time on your first ever  birthday outing =). Though I must say, organize it better next time =.=! Oh, and I would like to apologize and thank Kelly, Vicky, Eric and Thanh for making the cake which I was suppose to make for Thanh, but because I have a bridging course now =.= I couldn't. Though, I shouldn't have expected much, because although they made the cake, they forgot the sugar. So, it was pretty much a salty cake... brilliant guys, brilliant. Out of all the things you forget, you forget the sugar lol!

Groupie =). HB Thanh =).

There was Pepper Lunch, Prize Paradize and even Myers. I've never realised how many levels there were at Myers O_o. I've always thought that there were only 2 or 3 levels, so I had fun exploring =D. I liked it when we were chatting online on the sample DS's, even though we were practically facing each other HAHAHA! We also had a trip down memory lane at the children's book section =). Apparently, from the Mr.Men and Little Misses, I'm Little Miss Whoops, who is the sister of Mr. Bump LOL! But I prefer Mr. bump better =) because he looks cuter xD.
Hello, I'm Little Miss Fiona WHOOPS =).
 LEGO!!!
 DS chat anyone?

Time Zone air hockey =).

Back to Central, to Capitol Square, where we feasted on Korean food. To be honest, I think I'm slowly getting sick of Asian cuisine because, after all, I've been eating it for most of my life - except for rice cakes with chili sauce >=D. You can NEVER get sick of those because they are OH SO GOOD!!! Then it was park time =). Eric, that funny guy, lit up a "sparkler bomb" and chucked it at Thanh as a birthday present LOL! The look on his face was priceless! But don't worry, it wasn't real =). Another funny incident was when Minhky made a mini sparkler bomb and Eric lit it up.
"Wha - What are you doing?! AH! AH! AH!" - Minhky Le.
Luckily Minh pulled the sparkling one away from the others, or else we might've end up with only one eye brow left or something =P. Though, the second time, Minhky tied it to a pole and boy did it blind us O_O! I still prefer the bigger versions =). Ah, good day =). Oh, and thanks to Stanley for driving us home =).

Since the previous day was so good, we continued it at his house today =). Well, not exactly all of us LOL! Just Eric, Vicky and I. This time, Thanh and I made a cake, but not from scratch like yesterday. Again, Vicky and Eric played Army of Two while we baked, except yesterday was Kelly and Thanh. I tried playing it but ... I don't like the screen >=(. We pretty much baked a cake, ate it and played Army of Two. Okay, it was more like Vicky and I were watching Eric and Thanh play, but it was still cool watching virtual heads getting blown to oblivion xD! Anyways, HAPPY PRE-BIRTHDAY THANH =). Don't worry, I'll email you a birthday email on your actual birthday =).

PS. Thanks for the scooter and headphones Thanh =).
PSS. Congratulations to Michael for getting the Rebel job =).
PSSS. Congratulations to Peter D.2 for getting his red Ps =D YAY!!!
PSSSS. Thanks Mark for the photos =).

60 seconds of fame

23O3O9 - Julie C.'s 17th Birthday.

Huu, Me, Adrian, Kevin, Wendy and Andrew =D

Yep, everyone has a chance to have their 60 seconds fame somewhere in their life time, celebrities tend to have more than the average person =P. Yes, for once, I'm under the spotlight with Huu, Adrian, Kevin, Wendy and Andrew for promoting the Bring it On festival, which is on the 5th of April, noon - 7PM. Please have a look at this website for the interview we had just last week (mentioned in my previous blog).

I had another workshop yesterday, a radio one. Wendy and I went to Carramar for the workshop and we meet different, interesting people as well as the people that were in charge of the workshop. There's going to be 2 more workshops, and I can't wait to develop my interviewing and presenting skills. Anyways, I should go study now *sigh* LOL!

PS. Jenny, you know you're awesome =). Don't forget that!
PSS. I think i should call you GLOFISH now =D. That's actually a real thing too, if people don't know that.

freezing the picture

Perspiration cascaded down the side of my face; the heat baring its fangs into my skin, eager for a leathful red mole to grow upon somewhere conspicuous for curious pupils to bear witness of my dawdling and agonizing death. I heard a voice calling out, my body leaped into the sky without a care in the world and then... lights. Flashes of white light flickered past me. Time stood still as I felt a light breeze embrace me. Unfortunately, before I could appreciate its tenderness any longer, the funny tricks of time forced gravity to take place as both my feet touched the grass. I sighed in exasperation, wishing time would stop being so playful. Before I could blame something for my fatigue, the little voice called out: OKAY. It's Over.

Finally, it's over. The photographer finally took a picture worthy enough in his artistic eyes. I wish I could say the same with the two remaining photographers. Another pose. Another photograph. Another moment to freeze in time. It wasn't so bad, at least the others were there. When I mean others, I mean Wendy, Kevin, Huu, Adrian and Andrew. THANK YOU ANDREW for driving me there in the first place, and then back, and then to FCC for that interview Moera wanted with all of us. I guess you're confused about I'm going on about. This is all regarding to the festival.

Bring It On Festival is on Sunday 5th April, 12PM - 8PM. PLEASE COME! It'll be fun! There's more rides, more compeetitions, animations, films and perfomances to watch. You'll won't want to miss out, so come!

Anyways, as I was saying, after the promo photoshoot, we all went to our interviews with Moera. Unfortunately, the whole thing is delayed, so instead of leaving at 5:30PM or so, I left at about 6PM, or something. I also need to thank Andrew for shouting me dinner =P. THANK YOU!

Oh, and finally my assessments are over, now it's the half yearlies that I need to worry about. Oh wells. Wish me luck =).

dead beat

Yesterday exhausted me out today, though I'm not going to complain. No point in complaining when there's so many things to finish today, e.g. my short story and studying for chemistry. Since I have so many things to do today, I'm just going to type up a brief summary of what happened yesterday.

From 10AM to 4PM, I was at BYC for the Digital Storytelling workshop. As part of the filming group, we finished our previous project and managed to almost finish two other projects as well. This is all helping us promote for the Bring It On Festival, which is on the 5th of April. You know, acting can sure be tiring. I mean for one thing
, you have to repeat the same scenes over and over again for safety reasons or just to improve on the scene. But that's okay because we managed to finish it anyways. The Cambodian temple, at the back of BYC, is so beautiful, with its intricate scupltures and exquisite building design. Today, we had something else besides Subway. I prefer the sandwiches from that restuarant, but I miss the Subway cookies. Oh wells, you can't have everything. Tuyet and I had a chance to act on camera, as well as Andrew and Dean. It was pretty funny to act out the situations because we had to do it properly, yet in a werid way, so that we can properly put in the special effects in later on when we place it all together on the computer. It was also our last workshop for Digital Storytelling. I really do like this workshop the most because it was the most exciting one out of all of them, in my opinion.

Tuyet and I with the Cambodian Temple in the background.

I went to Linh's house to have dinner over there. They were having a belated family dinner to celebrate My Linh's 16th birthday. HAPPY 16th BIRTHDAY ML! I sure like their family. Big and small; loud and friendly; aggressive and not aggressive (referring to the children). It was funny when we were singing happy birthday to ML because at the end, the children all fought to blow out ML's candles. We told her to light it up agai and blow it. Some still got blown out by the children, but we managed to hold them back for ML to blow the rest of the candles out. I spent most of my evening there eating, playing cards, talking, going on the laptop. Linh's friends came over later (Elvis and the others) and we played cards. Who ever lost had to sing. We played in pairs, since there were an even amount of people. Kenny and I and Kong and Phu both equally lost the game, so we sang the most. Then we played RAYMAN on Linh's wii and it was pretty fun. It's funny to watch the people play the games, because some of them were pretty hard to play. Linh drove me home at about 1:3O AM. Luckily, it didn't wake my mum up. That's about it. I have to go and finish off my school work. Bye bye =].

ML and her birthday cake.

pms rage

I believe the title is quite self explaining, don't you think? Yeah, I've been stressed out lately. Just studying makes me feel stressed LOL but that doesn't mean I'm going to stop studying just for the sake of having less stress. I'd rather stress now than stress even more for the rest of my life! You know, I was starting to doubt things when my red friend didn't come last month. I talked to my science teacher, Mrs. Rogers, and she just assumed the worst: pregnancy. ARE YOU KIDDING ME?! HELL NO!! I'M A PROUD VIRGIN HERE! So the next thing was stress. I think so too. It was so unlucky when it came at the worst time EVER - just before my assessment test =.='! Seriously, I think I should give it an alias of 'the red devil' instead now! Oh wells, at least this proves that I'm not pregnant =)!

I must say, I DO believe someone hates me up there *looks up to the ceiling* because the other day in chemistry class, Jacky accidentally rolled a test tube to the ground and guess what? It didn't break. ARE YOU F**KING KIDDING ME?! I mean, when I accidentally drop it into the sink, it cracks, but when Jacky drops it to the ground, it doesn't. Almost every bloody time, whatever glassware I touch, it breaks. Seriously, this is NOT funny anymore! (Or maybe a bit?) Matthew and Nathan were cracking up jokes about it and how I got owned.

Matthew: Hey Fiona, do you know what the moral of this is?
Fiona: What?
Matthew: Nothing, there IS no moral. You just got owned!

LALALA! I DON"T WANT TO HEAR IT!

On Tuesday, I had a meeting with the others and we had a pretty fun time talking about possible games to 'break the ice' on Induction Day (which was today). Andrew had a really good idea, but he managed to make a clown out of himself again =). Unfortunately, under the circumstances we were given, it was highly UNLIKELY that we would be able to conduct that specific 'game' successfully. It was called effective discussions. Instead, we played 'BANG' and 'KNOTS.' I thought Tuyet, Maxine, and Kevin's idea of 'Chinese Opera' was fun to play! I guess not everyone thought the same =D. Anyways, today was pretty tiring, chaotic, loud and humid! THANKS TO WENDY we managed to make it to the location of the meeting, and THANKS TO KATTY for the food because it made me feel so much better! The leaders tried to socialise with everyone so they wouldn't feel lonely. We had quite a lot of 'noise' from a group of boys and I lost myself a couple of times trying to control them. That's okay, because it worked =), though I got really tired afterward hahaha! I think it's due to my pms that I actually got the courage to do all those mad things today. Oh wells! Anyways, I'm pretty tired by now so I'll stop here =).

TOODLES!
