Simplicity at its finest is NOT what i would depict how my life was, nor would i suggest the continuation of my naivety however, as my life escalates into complexity, i hope to keep my optimistic hindsight on life in order to live. Just live. My personal ordeal is to live with no regrets, as though i will die tomorrow. I follow the path that will lead me to who I want to be: someone who people can confide in, to go to when they are in their deepest hour; that's who I want to be. That is my aim in life. Hobbies and interests make my path more flamboyant and enticing, while my family, pet, and friends are the reasons for my existence; the reasons why i try and improve myself. My lack of self motivation for change may be quite obvious, but it doesn't mean that improvement did not occur. It may be so petite, so small, that it's practically invisible, but i guarantee you, i do try. Indefinitely.

RSA + RCG

After 2 weeks, I finally got both my RSA (Responsible Services of Alcohol) and RCG (Responsible Conduct of Gambling) at the Coffee School near Central station. Kelly also got her 2 certificates there; she said that it was the cheapest place she could find. All together, I paid $100 for it =) hopefully I'll be able to find a job easier, and hopefully I'll be able to work at an RSL club >.

It took 2 weeks because at first I only wanted to do the RSA but then I made a friend there and she said in order to work at an RSL club I need the RCG as well, and went I went home to book it for the next day it was full, so i had to wait for another week.

I had a funny teach for my RSG; Mark Almond. He told us stories about all the jobs and funny incidents that he's been through, so it wasn't so bad. For RCG, I had Greg White. He wasn't as funny as Mark, but he tried to make the most of it, and he taught us quicker than Mark did; we finished an hour earlier. I almost thought I wasn't going to pass the test because the questions were worded weirdly and all, so I received quite a lot of help from the girl sitting next to me. I was also having trouble staying awake in class because I only had 3 hours of sleep the night before. It was also because it was raining; rain tend to make me sleepy. Who wouldn't be.

Anyways, it was sunny again by the time I took the train. It became cloudy again when I reached my stop *sigh*. I really don't like the weather =.=. Autumn's all over the place.

receiving life lessons from a drunk drug-addict

15121O - Christine N.'s 19th Birthday.
16121O - Katherine W.'s 19th Birthday. HAPPY BIRTHDAY =D !!!

Yes, you've read right. But before I go on to that, let me start from the beginning. Last Sunday, we were taking Linh's cousin, Tracey, out for the last time before her flight the next day. She wanted to go to karaoke, so we went to GreenboxPLUS at Townhall. I guess it wasn't so bad. The rooms were okay and we initially had some trouble with the audio and remote control but it was because we weren't pointing it at the right place. The service wasn't so bad and the decorations were pretty nice. For 3 hours, we sang our lungs out, danced like maniacs and had some drinks and snacks while we were at it. It's been almost a year since I last went to karaoke, so it was pretty fun for me though I wished there was more hms... craziness? Either way, I hope Tracey had fun =).

Just going to the city for karaoke was a bit mundane so we decided to show Tracey Bondi beach afterward. Oh, it was actually around 11PM when we got to the beach because we only started karaoke at around 6:30PM. Benefits of having cars xD. I was actually pretty excited to go to the beach because I've never been to the beach at night before =D.At the beach, although throughout the whole day it was around 30 degrees Celsius, it was pretty cold at night with the sea breeze and all. Hence, before facing the cold, we had a pit-stop at Maccas. It amazed me to see so many people wearing almost nothing in such cold weather. Then again, I was wearing shorts and a t-shirt as well; but that was because I was already out during the hottest time of the day.

I digress. Anyways, to warm ourselves up, we ran around and played touch football with a thong because we had no ball =P. After a couple of minutes, a couple of friends/lovers asked to join in as well. They were pretty good; actually the boys in general was good since they all liked doing sports. I mean, come on, Anthony's even a personal trainer lol. But us girls weren't so easy to deal with either =). I actually managed to tackle Anthony done a couple of times; well, more like pull/drag xD. It was really fun; I haven't played sport with a group of people for so long so I enjoyed it a lot. Of course, I ate sand;  been forced to hi-5 sand with my face, been showered with sand; been scraped by sand; been pushed, pulled and sandwiched by people but it was still fun =). After many games, it ended up being 3-2 with the other team winning. They were all good games though =).

The couple left us afterward and we decided to take a break. We all sat in a circle and started playing that rule game, but it got on everyone's nerves quicker than usual; must be because we were all tired already. We were just about to finish when a middle-aged man with nothing but a towel wrapped around his waist came towards us and just sat down between Linh and Raymond. Since he didn't seem like he was leaving soon, we asked him if he was okay and he replied yes. It was the most awkward and weirdest moment ever ... He then began asking us things like 'what do you think life is?' and all those philosophical things O_O For first couple of minutes, we kept laughing at what the guy was saying. Must've been the nervousness or awkwardness of the situation. He talked about his job and his life, he asked us to talk about ourselves, etc. Throughout our conversation, he kept going on about life and all, and even made a metaphor about stars and life =S In my opinion, I think he just wanted to talk to someone about his unhappiness or his own understanding about things and strangers were the best audience since it's not like you'll meet them again. Yes, he was a drug-addict because he confessed of taking in 'so much drugs that it'll be more than all of us put together' or something like that. At one stage, we even thought he was gay because he said he was from Kings Cross and was paying extra attention to Raymond. Apparently, he was half naked because he just went swimming naked. I don't think he was gay because he didn't really act like one, or maybe I was just being stereotypical.

Christoph's in the middle, with the towel around his waist.

I think we were all too nice to actually tell him to go away or something. It was all thanks to time and parents, or else we might've had to stay there til morning or something. By around 1AM we decided to take our leave. We bid our goodbyes, told him to take care of himself and to have a good life. In the car, Raymond and Anthony said that he was actually drunk because they could strongly smell the alcohol on him. Linh also thought he was a drug dealer and maker from the description he gave us about his job. By the way, his name was Christof. Either way, it was the weirdest night I've ever had. Many thanks to Linh for driving us all home =).

PS. Congratulations on the ex-HSC students of 2010 for passing their HSC and getting their marks back =). May you have a bright future in front of you and good luckies to you all =). Congratulations to the students of Canley Vale High School for being in top 200 again, for 3 consecutive years. I'm very proud of you =).
PSS. Thanks My Linh for the photo =).

Schrödinger's cat

The Big Bang Theory, Season 1 Episode 17.

After watching this episode of BBT (A/N: for more information, links 1 and 2), I've decided to do some research on my own. To some point, this show is actually educational =) because not only is it entertainingly witty and intriguing, most of what they enlighten us with is true. Though, I do agree with most people that to understand their concepts of science and logic is quite difficult, it actually encourages me to actually take initiative and research for these concepts myself, via internet. Ah, don't you just love the internet =). Well, according to this website:
"Schrödinger's catis a paradoxical though experiment devised by Erwin Schrödinger that attempts to illustrate the incompleteness of the theory of quantum mechanics when going from subatomic to macroscopic systems. This means that there can be two different universes depending on the action taken which in this case is opening the box to see if the cat is dead or not. You can not say the cat is alive or dead until you open the box."
Because I don't completely understand the concept myself, I can't really summarise what I've read and hence, I'll just link you to these websites: 1, 2. I'll even throw in another video =) :

Schrödinger's cat video.

By the way, it was hilarious, yet perplexing, to read the comments to the BBT episode above because people were arguing how incorrect Sheldon's explanation was, or why Leonard kissed Penny at the end of the episode in order to see if Schrödinger's cat was alive or not LOL! All in all, BBT FTW =D !!!

PS. Jim Parsons (Sheldon Cooper) is oh so funny! A downright, freaken genius xD !!!
PSS. It funny how school have started and I'm not going to school anymore. How odd.

last farewell

From 12PM - 2PM, I was at my school's FREE BBQ made especially for us =). Obviously, besides for the free food, the other reason was to know how the rest of us went. Of course it's a bit irritating for some people. It'd be nice if people actually tell you their marks once you told them yours =). No, I'm not one of those annoyed people. SIFF anyone, besides my friends, actually want to know what mark I got LOL! Apparently, for our school, there are 32 students who achieved an ATAR over 90% and 30 students who achieved an ATAR between 89% - 80% (A/N: I'd thank the person called 'statistics' but I don't know who they are. Thanks anyways =D) I'm happy to say I'm in that minority (*!.&%); that I deserved to be there since Mr. Donohue DID say that everyone should be there especially the ones who got 80%+. I'm happy, as well as proud, to know that most of my friends did exceptionally well =D so CONGRATULATIONS! People can be SO smart xO! I was starting to feel a bit down about my mark... NO WORRIES! My mum was SO happy that she cried! That's good enough for me because I want to make her smile again, and have faith in me =D! Apparently, Vincent P. received the highest ATAR from our school (99.25) so CONGRATULATIONS to him! Also, our grade seemed to have beat last year's grade in the HSC overall =), so that's another good news. It's nice to see my friends again and to be able to catch up with everyone else =D. If only more people came. I guess today was my last farewell to the school *sigh*.

C.V.H.S in the local newspaper WOOT!
By 6:30PM, I met up with some friends (ex-seftoners+Kelly+Minhky+Michael), to eat hot pot at Canley Heights. It was SO worth it! It was an all you can eat buffet hot pot for $19.95 only! How good a deal was that?! I wished Eric and Cindy stayed longer though =/. *sigh* Don't you just love food? There was pipi/clams, mussles, cow stomach, fishballs, vegetables, meat, etc. =D *drools*. I didn't have any dessert because honestly, I'm not a huge fan of Asian desserts LOL! Before I forget, there was an incent on our table (since we took up 2 tables) involving Kelly. In our language, it would be that 'she did a Fiona' (yes, my name is a noun now). So the conversation went like this:

Kenneth: Does gum stay in your stomach if you swallow it?
Andrew: aksdj;jfjkdaja;skldf
During Andrews reply...
Fiona: What did he say? *pointing to Kenneth*
Kelly: I think he said does cum stay in the girl's stomach if she swallowed it.
Kelly, who initially had confidence in her hearing, went pale as she watched Fiona arched her eyebrow, an even more confused look on her face.
Fiona: What?!
Kenneth: What did you say?
Andrew: She said cum a;lskdjf;ajdfjd!
Everyone starts laughing. Fiona laughed so hard that she fell of her chair. David came over and picked her chair, then picked her up. He tried to calm her down but she continued laughing. After that incident, Kenneth kept on reminding Kelly about the 'gum.'

I don't think Kenneth's going to this go with Kelly LOL! Strangely enough, although Edim was there, he didn't hear a word of that conversation LOL! He must've been concerntrating really hard on eating. After dinner, everyone went their separate ways. Half of us went home, while the other half went to Derek's house to play mahjong. I'd like to go, but I didn't have a ride there, or back. Hence, I walked home instead =). It's okay, I'm pretty tired anyways, and I'll be seeing them again tomorrow YAY!

Groupie.

PS. Thanks Mr. Donohue for barbequeing the sausages =D. I brought home a pack of creaming soda cans MWAHAHAHA!!!
PSS. Thanks David for helping me up my chair again LOL!
PSSS. Thanks Kelvin and Hanh-Hong for the pictures =).

burdens off my shoulders

Finally, the 2OO9 A.T.A.R results is released today at 9AM. Congratulations to many people who did really well, and good luckies to those who still haven't seen theirs yet. As for me, I think I did well =D because I got over 80%. Although it is not my ideal aim, but I'm already really thankful that I actually got this mark. Unfortunately, our school did not make it to the top 100 schools, but overall I believe our school did well (according to Mr. Donohue anyways =D). The long wait is finally over; the burdens lifted from our shoulders. For those who are coming tomorrow for the free school BBQ lunch, I'll see you later; for those who aren't coming, I bid you farewell and good luckies with your lives =). May you find happiness in the end.

our last presentation day

1512O9 - Christine N's 18th Birthday. HAPPY BIRTHDAY CHRISTINE =)!

Today was my final Presentation Day for high school. As usual, the assembly was long and tedious and Mr. Mahony's 10 - 15 minutes speech did NOT help one bit however, there were some funny incidents during the event. The string ensemble had to play their piece thrice the time before the official party finally entered the hall LOL! How awkward was that? Then there was the recipient jokes made by Daryll and Chiv; Chiv's let's-all-stand-but-I'll-stay-seated-and-watch-you-embarrass-yourself prank; the emphasis of Chiv's award is a service award, and not an academics award; the mockery of the 7th graders' musical composition and the hiding of Antony's award. I would like to congratulate everyone on getting an award, especially the 12th graders =). Here are the year12 special award recipients:
  • Caltex Best All Rounder Award : Jenny Ky
  • Mammoliti Award : David Chiv
  • Reuben F Scarf Award : Jason Songsataporn
  • Jason Clare Award : Kelly Huynh II
  • Principal's Award for Captains : Patrick Hii ; Mei Yip
  • Principal's Award for Vice Captains : Mitchell Tran ; Lo Yee Huang
  • Defence Force Award : Lo Yee Huang
  • UNSW Scholarship Winner : Jenny Ky
  • Australian Institute of Contemporary Music : Antony Truong
  • Senior Sportsperson of the year : Henry Lang Gok Tran ; Wattey Tongtuot
I, myself, also received an award. It was actually the same award as last year except this year, I actually received 2 certificates, one was framed and the other was not, and the same amount of money was given to me as last year. This award is the Lions Club Service Award.

OH! Guess what! I'm going to go driving again! YAY! It was more than half away ago since I drove. I'm actually quite scared for the next few days - HSC results and ATAR results xO!!! Wish me luck!!! I hope I did well enough!!!

PS. Thanks Jenny for the chocolate =D!

and so begins the 4 month holiday

1511O9 - Christine N.'s 18th & William 哥哥's 33rd Birthday.
1311O9 - Pui yi 姐姐's Birthday.
1O11O9 - Julie K.'s 18th Birthday.

I apologise for not blogging lately and no, it is not because I've been so busy that I haven't got the time to blog about my rendezvous with friends. On the contrary, my schedule have been quite ... empty =.= . Not that I prefer it that way, but there's not much I can do if I don't have that much $$$ on me *sigh*. Hence, the job hunt. Of course I haven't stayed at home for the entire time. For example, I went celebrating the conclusion of Kelly and Minhky's HSC exams, along with Vicky, Danny and Joes. We went swimming at Cabramatta swimming pool and unfortunately, Vicky seem to have jinxed us because right after she said "it could be worse" it started raining LOL that silly Vicky! Next was Parramatta to eat and watch a movie. And again, another Vicky moment occured; Vicky suggested that we'd go visit Eric while he works but once we got to the stall, he was absent. Vicky gave a call to him and apparently, Eric works at Bankstown and that he never said that he worked at Parramatta O_o' LOL! D'OH! Anyways, although initially there were some disagreements about what movie to watch, in the end we ended up watching 'The Time Traveler's Wife.' Apparently, the book review is quite good. Although I haven't read the book myself, according to Kelly and Vicky, the movie didn't seem to suffice in expressing the storyline effectively. They also said that if you haven't read the book, you wouldn't really understand what is going on for the first 30 minutes of the movie, or so. I agree. Even though I haven't read the book, I can tell that parts seemed to be missing from the movie, similarly to 'Harry Potter and The Half-Blood Prince.' Even so, I thought the movie was quite sad and that they had managed to capture the compassionate atmosphere well. I almost cried xO! Keyword: almost. I think I'd rate it a 7/10 =).

Unfortunately I had family commitments, so I couldn't attend Julie's 18th birthday party xO NOOO! But I'm glad that she had heaps of fun that day =D. I could've came over at night, but I was just too tired, so I didn't. For once, since the holidays started, I actually slept before 12 AM LOL! Anyways, it was my cousin William's early 33rd birthday dinner. Yes, it sounds like a large number, but damn does he look young xO! I guess it's a good thing about Asians, we just look young most of the time, no matter how old we really are xP. People say I look young too... but I wonder if it's because of my looks, or because of my height.. =.= I think it's my height =P. Anyways, we went to Golden Star Restaurant, as usual, and the menu was the same as before however, there was an extra dish of fried squid. Apparently, the dish was something they used to like to eat when they were young. I didn't try it of course. The reason? I don't like eating anything with tentacles, except for jellyfish =). Although I'd eat almost anything with mango, octopus and squid are an exception to this =). After dinner, William, Marina, Edward and I went out for dessert at Ice and Splice: gelateria e pizzeria. I had a 'Cinnamon Belgian Waffle' which includes cinnamon and maple syrup, white chocolate gelato and whipped cream for $8.50. Thinking about it just makes me drool xD. It may be a bit expensive, but boy was it worth it! I feel kind of bad for making my cousins shout me all the time, but seeing that I'm the youngest, I guess it's okay. I shall shout them back when I have the money next time xD!

I could've signed out in one day but Mr. Mahony sure had a busy schedule as the principal. I also wish that I could've sold all my text books as well. What stingy students xO ngeh, Asians, what can be done. Yes, I'm stingy too, but I guess I usually just buy stuff at the original price, rather than bargaining for a lower price. Hms... maybe I should learn how to bargain. It can't be too hard, Asians are just natural at this! Maybe I should rephrase my sentence - I shall learn to be a successful bargainer.

Anyways, that's about it really. I've been wasting my youth away by rewatching dramas and reading manga *sigh*. Yes, I'm THAT boring. I'll be continuing with my job hunt, so ciao for now =). Hopefully, next I'll have more exciting news to share.

PS. Congratulations to everyone with finishing their HSC! Party hard everyone and take care!

HONEY, I'M HOME ;)

1O1OO9 - Sarina's 18th Birthday.
221OO9 - Lisa G.'s 18th Birthday.

What else is there to say? The title says it all =D! Okay, so I haven't been studying my ASS off 24/7 non-stop, but I did study, and i DID try my best. Now that it's all over, let's not think about it anymore xD! I would like to list down the things that happened during my study and exam period, just to remind myself in the future years for a good laugh. Here it goes:

  1. Been streaming my ASS off xO LOL - now prefer k-pop over other language and genres (a phase that may eventually end lol). I also realised the huge amount of talented musicians and comedians out there xO! Good on you guys!
  2. Went to the State Library for the first time. Couldn't even work for half the time I was there for I was too fascinated and intrigued by the architecture. I'm planning to go there again for a tour =) Vicky did give me one, but excluding the historical context =P.
  3. Met Nathan C., someone I haven't seen in a VERY long time and is planning to meet up with again, at the State Library YAY!!!
  4. Met Jessica P. at my own library and State Library, the least likely places that I thought I would see her.
  5. Went to a NOODLE MARKET at night, with Vicky, Minhky, Nathan and his friend =). One word: AWESOME! They were also giving out ferero rocher for free! YAY! The others took HEAPS and gave me some xD how nice! Pepper Lunch was our dinner, then an underground arcade for entertainment before we headed homes. HAHAHAHA Minhky and Nathan kept on tickling Vicky xD Poor girl. I couldn't do much with my petite size xO grrr!
  6. Thank you to Linh and My Linh for planning to celebrate my graduation with me, but unfortunately I was already on my way to the formal xO! I feel so appreciated =D!
  7. Had a day of puns with Vicky and Eric ... LOL! (mathsecre - Eric = massacre ; seasick - Vicky = seesaw).
  8. I DYED MY HAIR! Yes I did, as a way of celebrating the end of my exams. Well it's supposed to be honey, light brown but it turned out to be dark brown. It's okay since it was the first time I dyed my hair. Hopefully, the next time I do dye my hair it'll turn out more like the colour I want xD. Thank you Vicky for helping me xD! I feel like I owe you even more now LOL! Oh, and we also dyed my dog, Toby's, tail ROFLS! It won't happen again, so don't worry =).
  9. Kelly persuaded me for just over more than half an hour to swap back our password. I don't know why I yielded to her =.='. I am going to feel so bad if she stuffs up her exam xO!
To those who still have their HSC exams left, GOOD LUCKIES !!! Those who have finished, CONGRATULATIONS and PARTY DAMN HARD NOW !!! Those who are going overseas, TAKE GOOD CARE and HAVE FUN !!!

temporarily gone

My dear friends,

GOOD LUCKIES for the HSC!

Thanks to Kelly, she has changed my password for both facebook and msn, and I for hers. I am sincerely sorry that I cannot converse with you guys, but this is for the greater good. This will be the last time of me logging onto my computer. Hence, this will be my last blog entry, for now, because it will be on hiatus due to my studies =). I'll be on again after the 5th of November, when I finish my last HSC exam. If you were to ever see me online on msn, please do not speak to me because that will NOT be me. My old msn signs me in automatically and unfortunately, since I supposedly deleted the program, I don't know where exactly can I sign off it from. My dear mum will be using the computer for her studies too, so do not assume that it is I who is on the computer, even if I am 'online' on msn. That is all. Farewell everyone!

Sincerely yours,
Fiona Woo =).

Thanks for the memories

The day had finally come - our graduation. What does that mean? Tears, photos, hugs, signing on t-shirts and books, tears, laughter, smiles, tears, screaming, clapping, singing, awards, antics, jokes, pranks and have I said tears yet? Since the main event was the formal, I'll just briefly talk about the highlights of our final formal assembly:
  • Confetti poppers are already awesome, but what made it even more awesome is that the boys bought like a KING-SIZE popper, which spread confetti across 1/3 of the hall =D WOOT! According to Kelly, this was the first time it has happened at our school=D! Is our grade awesome or are we just awesome?
  • Performances include: string accompaniments for Pachelbel's Cannon; Fianna and the violinist tutor for Merry People; the CVHS band for The Great Escape by Boys Like Girls; Kim and Bach for Scar by Missy Higgins; Kelly and Danny C. for La by Old Man River. Antony and Kim both started crying during their performances, which made some of the girls cry in our grade, which made other people cry, etc. CHAIN REACTION PEOPLE!
  • Mr. Donohue and Captains' (Mei and Patrick) speeches triggered the tears and laughter. Mei got teary during her captain's speech AWWW! "You make me want to be a better person" - Mr. Donohue AWWW!
  • It was funny how all the other teachers received boxes of gifts while Mr. S (deputy principal) received an envelope ROFLS! Don't worry, we gave him tickets =) It's not empty. We also gave Mr. M (principal) a photo ouf our grade LOL! I'm not sure how to spell their names, and I'm not bothered to learn them now since I'm an ex-student.
  • Congratulations to Aaron Tran and Linda Lu, for captains, and John Ly and Rosalyn Hoang, for vice captains, of 2O1O!
  • Me? I received a Perfect Attendance for 2OO9 award and a Faculty Award for General Maths =) WOOT WOOT for me!
Congratulations 2O1O captains and vice captains =D. SRC - except for Shirley =). String accompaniments. Graduation 1. Graduation 2. Graduation 3.
Graduation 4. Our last free period xO! Groupie 1. Groupie 2. Groupie 3.

FASTFOWARD

In Mrs. Kowalin's car - Jason, me, Sarina and Kelly.

Ladies and gentlemen, lets PAR-TAY! The ladies were just stunningly fabulous, the gentlemen were just absolutely impeccable and the teachers looked just lovely =D! Hummers and limousines were parading around near the venue, giving an essence of prosperity and opulence to the Dockside scene. Although DocksideI was slightly smaller than our year 1O formal, at Parravilla, overall it wasn't so bad... it had a nice view =)! Oh, Mrs. Diep even brought her daughter, Natalie, and husband to the formal YAY! However, the teachers weren't the only guests at our formal. The ex-captains 'O8, Kevin and Natalie, and the future captains '1O, Aaron and Linda, were invited as well =D! Hope you had fun guys!

Natalie, Kevin, Linda and Aaron - captains of CVHS.

Before I continue about the formal, let us give a round of applause for the Seftoners (Vicky, Eric, Shirley, Adnrew and Kenneth) for courageously crashing our formal >=D According to their side of the story, a female blonde teacher had somehow influenced their course of action *cough*.

Female blonde teacher: Why are you down here, the party's up there!
With confused/blank looks the seftoners followed the teacher up to the venue, passing the security guards.
Female blonde teacher: Why are you dressing to casually? *to Shirley*
Vicky: She's going for the casual look.
Female blonde teacher: Oh, the casual chick look.
Smiles all around.

They would have stayed longer during the second time round, except ...

Same female blod teacher: I think you should go back to your own formal now *to Kenneth*
Hence, the Seftoners were forced to leave.

Seftoners crashing our formal xD!

May I say how Minhky was more paranoid than the Seftoners? ROFLS! Anyways, firstly, Kelly accidentally left her camera in Mrs. Kowalin's car and hence, she had to come and give it to us. Thank you for the ride and camera Mrs. Kowalin! Yes, she drove Sarina, Kelly, Christina, Jason Q. and I to the formal. Christina wasn't going to our formal, but she wanted to go anyways =D hehehe! I seriously thought we wouldn't be able to enter because of our tardiness xO!

The food wasn't bad either, but I liked the desserts the best! For my entree, I had risotto, then steak for my main and this vanilla pudding for my dessert. The steak was kind of chewy... too chewy for my liking =/ and hence, I couldn't finish it. Actually, it's not that I didn't want to finish it, it's just I went to play tips with some girls before I finished my main course ... HAHAHA! Yes, I didn't believe it either. Fianna, Cindy H., Cindy V., Annie, Linda, Julie C. and I played tips in our heels around the venue HAHAHA! Although, after an hour of playing, Mrs. Wright told us off, after a half and hour rest, they went and play another game of tips again LOL! As for I, I hit the dance floor >=D. I do apologise to those who I accidentally stepped on while dancing ^___^" and I guess karma hit me back, because eventually I also got stepped on LOL!

The girls.
More girls.
The boys.
The stripping boys LOL!

There were no slow music for the lovers; there was only fast up-beat music. That's okay, I'm pretty sure we all liked it that way anyways LOL! There were conga lines, lifting people up and moving them around, stripping from the boys and even some pre-choreographed dance routines! Shain made a speech to the grade, while David C. and Philip did a beatbox duet =D. Eventually, the dancing was temporarily stopped because it was awards time WOOT! Here are the awards and winners:
  • Shocker of ther year: Jacky Hanh
  • Most Mature of the year: Minh Troung
  • Clumsiest of the year: Annie Praseuth
  • Prankster of the year: Thomas Tran
  • Blondest person of the year: Tiffany Tran
  • Drama Queen of the year: David Hu
  • Intelligent person of the year: Jenny Ky
  • Addict of the year: Peter Do 1.
  • Best dressed male: Jordan Van Etten
  • Best dressed female: Shirley Wong
  • Best dressed Teacher: Miss. Gazanfer
Recipients for the awards.

I would like to point out the fact that Jenny won the same award for both year 10 and year 12 formal! Good for you Jenny! *sigh* Unfortunately, near the end of the night, Kelly's camera ran low on batteries xO! Again, silly of Kelly to bring only half of the charger (the wire, but not the plug - if you know what I mean) LOL! Hence, I went borrowing other people's camera for the remainder of the night ^_^'. Thank you Lisa L.!

There are also 4 things I want to point out about the formal: we started AND ended the night with Black Eye Peas's 'Good Night;' Loyee was smart enough to bring thongs along; Athena wore pants with pockets underneath her dress; everyone received an engraved CVHS O9 champagne glass, as a sorvenir, which is to be used at our reunion in 10 years time. ROFLMAOS! To view the formal photos we took that night, go to this site please =).

The clock strike 12. With aching feet, sweating bodies and tired eyes we dragged ourselves to Kelly's father, where him, and his car, waited for us with open arms. Thank you Mr. Huynh! After changing into my pjs, brushing my teeth and having me feet soaked in warm water for half an hour, I finally hit the hays. Goodnight, good luckies, and farewell everyone.
