Simplicity at its finest is NOT what i would depict how my life was, nor would i suggest the continuation of my naivety however, as my life escalates into complexity, i hope to keep my optimistic hindsight on life in order to live. Just live. My personal ordeal is to live with no regrets, as though i will die tomorrow. I follow the path that will lead me to who I want to be: someone who people can confide in, to go to when they are in their deepest hour; that's who I want to be. That is my aim in life. Hobbies and interests make my path more flamboyant and enticing, while my family, pet, and friends are the reasons for my existence; the reasons why i try and improve myself. My lack of self motivation for change may be quite obvious, but it doesn't mean that improvement did not occur. It may be so petite, so small, that it's practically invisible, but i guarantee you, i do try. Indefinitely.

rain another year

O2O411 - Jeffrey's 19th & Raymond D.'s 20th Birthday.
O7O411 - 爸爸's Birthday.
O8O411 - Jack's 20th Birthday.

Last Sunday, I went to the Bring It On Festival, at the Fairfield Show ground, with Karen. It wasn't as crowded as last year, but it was nice to see how strongly they were advocating health amongst the community =); I, myself, managed to bring home half a bag full of them... well, kind of since I ate half of it before I brought it home ^_^'. I did the skipping rope challenge and only made it to 3 minutes and 21 seconds =(. If I made it to 5 minutes, i would've gotten a basket ball or a soccer ball. I was able to take home a skipping rope or a handball, but I already have both, so I just took extra peaches instead =D (which were free to begin with). By the way, I actually skipped barefooted because I was wearing platforms, and I don't think wearing platforms while skipping would've been very comfortable. Apparently, Karen said that I kept on moving up and down the place instead of staying in one spot hahaha I guess I unintentionally did that when I avoided stopping my skipping routine.

I also had American churros (which is kind of like a stick version of a cinnamon donut, with filling inside), mango flavoured snow cone and hot dog. I kind of regretted ordering the hot dot after I saw all that oil on the frying pan =S. We went around collecting freebies as well, and even had a free hand massage =D it was like heaven *sigh*. Seeing that we couldn't decide what to get for our mothers for Mothers' Day, we decided to make them this smelling bath soap ourselves; they were giving free lessons in the Women's section. We also met and talked to Adrian a couple of times. I didn't see many ex-volunteers from the years before =/ I guess they didn't bother this year.

We went home at around 2:30 PM because it started raining. Unfortunately, my mum was busy at home so Karen's mum was nice enough to give me a lift home =). Maybe I should've said to drop me off at Stocklands instead so I could use my $20 voucher straight away =D. But it would've been lonely shopping by myself ... eh, it doesn't matter anymore =).

Later that night, at around 5:30 PM, we went to SuperDish, at Cabramatta to celebrate my uncle's birthday. Coincidentally, Vicky was working on that day. Well, actually, I half expected that, seeing that it was a weekend and all lol =). My cousin, Marina, and mum also noticed she was working that night too =). I thought I would feel awkward, eating with my family and having a friend working there, but it didn't feel awkward at all. Maybe it was because she was too busy, and I was just minding my own business with my family. I did kept a look out for her every now and then though =) and she did talk to me a bit when she got to our table =). The food wasn't bad, but the pipis/clams disappointed me =( half of them were just shells, and I'm sure we're supposed to have more than the amount that they gave us... well, in comparison to the bowl I saw another table had the last time I ate there >.> ... Ah, it didn't matter, I and an enjoyable night =).

I joined my cousins to Woolworth after dinner and saw Carina =D. I wonder how long she's been working there already. I wish I worked there =(. Strangely enough, Marina asked me that I must not really like my mum because I followed them instead of my mum. Initially, I thought it was because I felt more comfortable, seeing that I was closer to their ages than my mum and my relatives' ages. Or am I just turning a blind eye to the distance between my mum and I? I thought it was decreasing, but now I don't know anymore. I'll just think about it another night.

Fiarfield City's Award Night

I must say I was disappointed. Yes, it was great to see different people receive such outstanding awards. Yes, it was great to see familiar faces which I haven't seen in a while. Yes, the good actually tasted good. Yes, there was live musical performances from Fairvale High school. And yes, we got free DVDs about the Bring It On Festival. BUT it was less lively.

I liked last's BBQ for the volunteers. Besides the food, WHICH I helped buy and cook, but people seemed closer. It was more fun than this year's certificate night. Also, everyone received recognition for volunteering. This year, okay it was good that the volunteers that did extra work got the recognition, but everyone else was forgotten. It would've been better if everyone was given some recognition and that those who did more received 'more recognition.' I don't know, that's just my opinion.

Also, they should've had more food =/. Everyone was hungry and there were quite a few guests, so the food ran out quite quickly. But what about the people who helped out with the event? They had to pack everything up and all, so they were the last ones to reach the food platters. I felt quite bad for them. There was barely any food left for them to chew on =/. They should've save themselves a couple of platters.

I hope this doesn't happen again for next year's certificate night =/. I don't know if I want to volunteer again for next year's Bring It On Festival either >.<. Ngeh.

as Vivid as Avatar can get

I have a confession to make: I went to play during the exam period.

The Sunday before the exams started a group of friends and and I went to the Vivid Festival at Circular Quay. My initial excitement for the festival came crashing down at the sight of the so called 'vivid light show' *sigh*. Yes, the continuously changing lights on the Opera House were fascinating. And yes, the free torches was also amusing to play with. But I was quite disappointed at the lack of vivid lights =(. Even the trips around the crowded markets was more exhilarating. I admit, there were a couple that were intriguing, but overall the entertainment wasn't that commendable.

Another unhappy moment was when my short stature got in the way again. We wanted to watch the water show but it was too crowded. Mark even gave Kelly a lift, but was futile as well. We only managed to hear the story, and with the help of Naomi's camera, we get the tops of the equipments and other colourful props and people =D. The show was about how an Indian explore found Australia. It was unbelievable, but it was true. It's a shame that we only learnt about the history of the Aboriginal and the British history. There were so many other histories, about Australia, in the perspective of other countries as well.

May I say that I have never been so tired in finding food until that Sunday night. We literally trekked all around Circular Quay before ending up with where we began: McDonald. *sigh* It was worth it though, since Kelly shouted us the family meal =D. Thank you Kelly =D !!! So after the meal, we took one last trip to the Opera House before heading back to the station. I guess Naomi got a bit excited about leaving because she played with her torch so much that it fell apart! After 10 minutes worth of concentration and hard-work, we managed to put most of the torch back together again. Naomi had to leave to meet her parents, so she was left with a handful of torch gears in one hand and an almost completed torch in the other. Mark was nice enough to give Naomi his to have a look at when she got home =).

On the way home, Samuel taught us how to play this ABC slap game. It was fun =D. A bit painful, but fun =D. I think the game really lightened up the tired atmosphere around us. I was really glad to see Sarina again =D. I haven't seen her for half a year, or more, so I was very happy and excited to see her again =). I hope Kelly enjoyed her night seeing she was the one who organized the outing =). Besides the disappointing lights, I quite enjoyed my night =).

The next outing was after my Psychology exam, which was a B*****!!! It was THE hardest test I've done. I thought I would be alright with it since I liked studying psychology and that I studied fairly enough for it. But no, I was extremely mistaken. No wonder people doing psychology needed a 96+% ATAR for it. It may be an interesting course to learn, but it was a b**** to study for. I hate the fact that it's such a heavy weighing too! 65% weighing! Are you trying to make us fail on purpose?!

I digressed. Anyways, before going to Thanh's house, Eric and I ate lunch at Ichiban Boshi. Please have the omelet =D. It was delicious! Really worth the money =D. So at Thanh's house we watched Avatar, which was AWESOME =D !!!! I would rate it 9 out of 10!!! I took a point of for the ending... the Jamunji title replica, as suggested by Mark. I'd go on about the storyline, the quality, the acting, etc. But why not let you watch it yourself and see for yourself instead. One thing's for sure, it was more vivid than the lights at the Vivid festival =D - or maybe it was because it was on blu-ray ... either way, the movie was excellent overall =D. The storyline may have been a simple one, but the execution was great =) good job James Cameron =D! Thanks for the movie Thanh, and thanks for the food Susan =D!!! The popcorn was yummy, as usual =). Anyways, here's the trailer for Avatar to keep you interested ;D :

sniff me, i dare you

17O41O - San San 姐姐's 22nd Birthday.

No, I'm joking. I don't want to be strip naked and felt all over just to justify myself that I have no drugs on me, what so ever. Strange how it was only males who were sniffed out by the police dog. For once, I'd like it if it was a female who gets singled out. You know what's also strange? The attractiveness bias.Today, I experienced, first hand, how policemen bias people due to their physical characteristics. They were more likely to target people that were less attractive people. It was stereotypically dark-skinned, bearded males who were clothed in dark clothes. No wonder social psychologists hate humans, ie. Lisa Zadro (my social psychologist lecturer).

For the second time, in a row, I volunteered for the Bring It On Festival, which was held at the Fairfield Showgrounds. However, unlike last year, it was more spacious, less crowded and less entertaining unfortunately. There really isn't much to mention about besides the usual freebies, the rendezvous with old friends and the dog sniffing. The t-shirt colour was the same as last years, the sausage sizzle for the free BBQ voucher was not filling and they didn't provide bottles of water this year =/ I think it was mostly because of bad organizing skills. OH! I did manage to make something for Minhky's up coming birthday =). I hope he'll like it because it's all hand-made =).

Me, Mark and Livia.
Livia, Wendy and I.
Shirley and I got our faces painted =).

Gah! This week's going to be one hell of a busy one: Human Biology exam, Foundations of Health group meeting, PhotoSoc executive meeting, PhotoSoc photoshoot, masquerade birthday party. I hope I'll be able to cope this week =/.

PS. Adrian a really good job in looking after the volunteers =) thanks!
PSS. Thanks Livia andMark for the photos.

O-week

23O21O - Danny K.'s 17th Birthday.
25O21O - Jenny K.'s 18th Birthday.
27O21O - Amy H.'s 20th Birthday.

Monday: It was my 2nd last bridging course and Kevin was nice enough to give me a tour of the university after class =). I had a fun time exploring the place though I preferred a cooler weather than a sunny 29 degrees Celsius.

After the tour, Kevin taught me how to play pool =D After an hour's worth of games, although Kevin wasn't the best pool player, versing against an amateur like me guaranteed him the wins of every game we played =P. It was a pretty fun day overall, so thanks Kevin for the tour and the game =).

Tuesday: YAY! My completion of my bridging course was rewarded with a certificate... and a survey. It was okay because class was an hour sort and the survey didn't take that long to finish =).

My next destination was my Nursing and Midwifrey faculty welcoming. I was an hour late, but the welcoming only lasted for 2 hours rather than the said 5 hours O_o. There I met up with Rebecca and I also discovered that Henry L. Tran was also doing the same course as me =D! YAY! I have a friend in my course =D! I don't think our timetable will be the same, but at least we're doing the same course together =D. Also, hopefully for next year's clinical nursing practices, I'll be able to adjust my timetable around to be in the same classes with Rebecca =D!

After the welcoming, Rebecca and I head off to the city to have lunch at Pepper Lunch before meeting up with Karen and Mimi at Kinokuniya. As we left the place, Mimi and I decided to go home while Karen and Rebecca decided to go karaoke. Another day over.

Wednesday: I know USYD's o-week was starting today, but I went to UNSW's o-week instead with Vicky, Eric and Julian instead =P. We missed the amazing race activity so we went on a tour around the campus instead =). I'm sure the amazing race would've been a really fun activity but I had fun playing the games/activities provided by the tour guides, so I guess it wasn't so bad missing out the race =). I must say, the freebies of UNSW is WAY better than USYD any day >=) Why? Free food.
It's funny how you ask the most questions when you're not even going here. - Vicky Fong.
Yes, I wonder too. The UNSW volunteer students kept asking me what course am I doing. I know it's a typical question to be answered by a UNSW student - but I'm NOT a UNSW student. So it always end up like this:

UNSW volunteer student: So, what course are you doing?
Fiona: Oh, I don't go here.
UNSW volunteer student: Oh, okay. What uni are you going to then?
Fiona: USYD. UNSW doesn't provide the course I'm doing.
UNSW volunteer student: Really? What course is that?
 Fiona: Nursing, so yeah ...
UNSW volunteer student: Oh, that's a shame ...

It always ended up with something along the lines of 'it's a shame that you can't go here.' Honestly, in junior years, I've always wanted to go to UNSW because both my cousins went there, but I thought it through. Just because they went doesn't mean I have to go there as well. Besides, the architecture of USYD captured my attention =P. It MAY be a silly reason to choose USYD but who cares. Here I am, a USYD student.

It was also nice seeing Nathan and Wilson =D. They were handing out V.I.P cards for Verandah Bar GAH! I should've done that too xO!!! I need to try harder with this promoting thing =_=!

Thursday: After experiencing a day of UNSW o-week, it's only right to experience my own uni's o-week as well. I met up with Kelly and we both went exploring =). I joined Access and got a free show bag =D. Luckily for Kelly, Kevin gave me his show bag token when he renewed his, so Kelly got a free show bag as well even though she didn't join Access =P. NO FREE FOOD >=( !!! But they provided Coke Zero. I still would've preferred food over drink.

Anyways, because I joined Access, I was able to join the uni clubs/societies as well =D! There were so many that I wanted to join but I didn't have enough money on me to pay for the membership fee. Hence, I was only able to join 2 clubs: SU Anime Society and Animal Welfare Society. Besides, I don't think I would've been able to go to all the club meetings if I joined to many.

We saw Vincent, Matthew and Tu around. Apparently, Tu and Matthew were also going to USYD as well =D YAY! More USYD friends =D. Oh, speaking of friends, I made a new friend, Danny, who used to go to Kelly's tutor =) YAY! Another friend =). Everything else was just freebie collecting and scabbing food from the free BBQs =).

Friday: Got tired of uni, so I stayed home instead =).

Saturday: Yesterday really wasn't my day =.=. My optometrist was out for lunch when I went there to get my glasses and I couldn't wait for them to come back because I had to catch the bus to Bankstown. Yes, which means there was track work that day as well =.=. Another thing was that the post office was closed >=( which means I couldn't ask them to check for my student ID tracking number xO!!! Uni's about to start and I STILL don't have my student ID! It's been about a month, or more, since I enrolled GRRR! I feel so angry!

Anyways, so why did Kelly and I need to go to Bankstown? It's because we were going for a job interview for Le Warp. Hopefully, we'll get the job. I feel like I signed away my social life when I wrote my name down... Yes, I know I've been searching for a job for months but since uni is going to start, my weekends will be my only free days to just relax or to see my high school friends. If I work on those days, my free time will be reduced to next to nothing *sigh*. I shouldn't worry =) I shall find a way to work around it. Besides, it's not definite that I'll get the job anyways. Still, wish me luck anyways =).

patriotism all around

26O11O - Julie P.'s 18th Birthday & Australia Day.

For the first time in my life have I celebrated Australia Day, which was this year. Not that I don't care about my country, but my family never celebrated it, so I didn't either. Yesterday, we went to the city to experience city life on Australia Day. It seemed like a normal day, with a few things out of place, and extremely crowded in others, ie. Darling Harbour. We cruised around the city on a vintage bus, watched some live entertainment at the harbour side and watched the flamboyant fireworks =). I think we all agreed that it was much better than NYE but, maybe that's because we were closer this time. Either way, the fireworks was highlight of the day. Oh, I would like to thank Eric, Stephanie T. and Thanh for waiting in line for us at Pancakes on the Rocks, because it was extremely crowded. Lucky people and their double pay rate for that day =.=. Before we went home, Thanh and Michael had a Mr. 32 cm ice cream race, and Michael won xD. One word: karma. LOL!

Thank God I said to go there earlier, or else I would've been late and hence, would've taken longer to finish my enrollment. Yes everyone, I've enrolled into USYD today, thanks to Eric and Thanh. If they weren't there, I'll most likely be lost. The enrollment took longer than I expect O_O so I couldn't visit the Maritime Museum and MCA today *sigh*. There's always next time >=). It was strange how I met so many people today ie. Cathy N., Rowena, Fiona V., Jessica T., Rebecca C., Anne N., John and Mimi. I don't usually meet people and when I do, it's usually 1 or 2, not 8+ lol =P. But it was nice seeing them all =D. We ate at Poporo before we went home. I took Eric's recommendation of the 'Terimayo Hamburg' and it was DELICIOUS xD. Beef with mayonnaise on top, cooked vegetables and rice =D. Thinking about it is making my mouth water xD I think I shall eat there again next time =D. I'm glad it's all over now; I just need to wait til O-week, and receive my timetable, and then I'm good to go for uni =). Once again, I would like to sincerely thank Eric and Thanh for accompanying, helping, and shouting me food today =).

PS. I DROVE IN THE RAIN TODAY FOR THE FIRST TIME =D !!! From Cabramatta to home, approx. 5 minutes, but it was better than nothing =D. Mum said it was a practice run so she told me not to write it into the log book =/ Oh wells, practice makes perfect =).

virtual reality becomes real

 23O11O - Cathleen's 18th Birthday. HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!
24O11O - Duyen's 18th Birthday.
25O11O - Jessica H.'s 18th Birthday.

I've actually been kind of lazy with my blogs xP It's not as long as it used to be, but at least I'm still consistent with them =). On Thursday and Friday, I went to the city. For Thursday, before going to the Chinese Garden of Frienship, we went to Ichiban Boshi for food. I usually think Japanese food wasn't that fulfilling but boy, was I proven wrong =P. Both of us ordered the unagi-ja (eel) (A/N: I'm happy to say that it was the first time Eric tasted eel before, and he actually likes it =D). I almost couldn't finish the meal even though I was famished, and believe me when I say I can eat a lot when I'm famished LOL =).

We pretty much relaxed/slept at the gardens, listening to the waterfall and all, for 3 - 4 hours LOL! I know what you're thinking, and Vicky did voice it out too: "so you travelled all the way to the city to just sleep?" I guess so =). But I mean, stay in a stuffy room and sleep, or be out in the open and sleep, hms... I'll let you to decide on that one. Vicky and Michael went to Fitness First for the free trial period =D. We couldn't bother going because we're just lazy =). After that, we just met up and went home =). First time going home early, on the same day, with Vicky LOL!

On Friday, a group of us went to Norita to play games for half the day LOL! For me, I played mahjong for the first time, in real life. I used to play it on my computer, but I don't have the game anymore. It was fun, but I wished I actually won a round xO. Others played other games like Jenga and Pool. I never realised we actually had to pay for the game as well. I thought we could just play the games, for free, as long as we all ordered something from them. We then left for Markets by the Moonlight, at The Rocks. We also looked at some artworks along the way =) ie. Infinity forest. The rest of the night was just spent at the markets, eating, talking and walking =). Eventually, everyone left, so we went to French Riviera for some ice cream before we headed home as well =).

PS. Thanks Eric for the scarfs =D.

HONEY, I'M HOME ;)

1O1OO9 - Sarina's 18th Birthday.
221OO9 - Lisa G.'s 18th Birthday.

What else is there to say? The title says it all =D! Okay, so I haven't been studying my ASS off 24/7 non-stop, but I did study, and i DID try my best. Now that it's all over, let's not think about it anymore xD! I would like to list down the things that happened during my study and exam period, just to remind myself in the future years for a good laugh. Here it goes:

  1. Been streaming my ASS off xO LOL - now prefer k-pop over other language and genres (a phase that may eventually end lol). I also realised the huge amount of talented musicians and comedians out there xO! Good on you guys!
  2. Went to the State Library for the first time. Couldn't even work for half the time I was there for I was too fascinated and intrigued by the architecture. I'm planning to go there again for a tour =) Vicky did give me one, but excluding the historical context =P.
  3. Met Nathan C., someone I haven't seen in a VERY long time and is planning to meet up with again, at the State Library YAY!!!
  4. Met Jessica P. at my own library and State Library, the least likely places that I thought I would see her.
  5. Went to a NOODLE MARKET at night, with Vicky, Minhky, Nathan and his friend =). One word: AWESOME! They were also giving out ferero rocher for free! YAY! The others took HEAPS and gave me some xD how nice! Pepper Lunch was our dinner, then an underground arcade for entertainment before we headed homes. HAHAHAHA Minhky and Nathan kept on tickling Vicky xD Poor girl. I couldn't do much with my petite size xO grrr!
  6. Thank you to Linh and My Linh for planning to celebrate my graduation with me, but unfortunately I was already on my way to the formal xO! I feel so appreciated =D!
  7. Had a day of puns with Vicky and Eric ... LOL! (mathsecre - Eric = massacre ; seasick - Vicky = seesaw).
  8. I DYED MY HAIR! Yes I did, as a way of celebrating the end of my exams. Well it's supposed to be honey, light brown but it turned out to be dark brown. It's okay since it was the first time I dyed my hair. Hopefully, the next time I do dye my hair it'll turn out more like the colour I want xD. Thank you Vicky for helping me xD! I feel like I owe you even more now LOL! Oh, and we also dyed my dog, Toby's, tail ROFLS! It won't happen again, so don't worry =).
  9. Kelly persuaded me for just over more than half an hour to swap back our password. I don't know why I yielded to her =.='. I am going to feel so bad if she stuffs up her exam xO!
To those who still have their HSC exams left, GOOD LUCKIES !!! Those who have finished, CONGRATULATIONS and PARTY DAMN HARD NOW !!! Those who are going overseas, TAKE GOOD CARE and HAVE FUN !!!

last days of school

In a blink of an eye, 6 crazy years have passed us by. They were right; time doesn't stand still for anyone. The last 2 weeks of school for just hectic for the year 12s of CVHS. Rather than just describing everything, I'll just put them in dot points. It's not the description that matters, it's the moment =). Here I go!

  • Wednesday: The finals for the year 12 Cabra-Vale Diggers Club basketball game and the Ponies came out victorious! CONGRATS!
  • Friday: Miss Panteli came in for a surprise visit, and boy were we SURPRISED! She even brought baby Athena with her! She's oh so adorable, with those grey-ish brown eyes and that little tuff of brunette on her small, fragile head xD! I wish I could've carried it, but I was scared of harming it since it was so petite and fragile... WE MISS YOU MISS xO!!! Then it was the TEACHERS VS STUDENTS basketball game of the CENTURY >=D. Unfortunately, we lost BUT there were quite a lot of cheating from the teachers >=[ and Mr. Edward is a dirty cheat! He helped the teachers win xO. Hence, they won by one point. Since the students were all booing, Mr. Nguyen lied about the score and said the students won just so that we would clap ROFLS! Go Mr. Nguyen
English Advance class with Miss Panteli and baby Athena!
BABY ATHENA! ISN"T SHE ADORABLE! xD
Students basketball team: David C., Jonathan, Matthew L., Jordan, Jason, David H., Wattaye, Lisa G. and Daren.
  • Sunday: MOON FESTIVAL! I know, I know. What a typical TB festival, why on would I bother go to it. It's okay =D. This year was different. The Seftoners and Canleys reunited once again! Obviously, it was an awesome night! First Vicky and I went to Cabramatta and then we started meeting up with people =D. There were flashmobs of MJ's 'Beat It;' lunch at stockies where the food prices were reduced immensely >=D; climbing over a 3m high fence because we were locked in *cough*; me accidentally making a call for emergency at the bus station (I SWEAR, I BARELY TOUCHED IT! DAMN TOUCH-SENSITIVE TECHNOLOGY xO - NOOO! I DON'T WANT A CRIMINAL RECORD xO I TURNED 18 GOD DAMNIT!); and then returning back to Cabramatta for the fireworks and sparkle bomb at the park near Cindy's house. What an awesome night >=D. I'm amazed I'm not sick yet LOL! Oh, and we did a random video at Cindy's house ROFLS!
Vicky and chocolate fountain =P
Vivian, Wendy, Cassandra and I.
Minhky and his sparkle fingers =D.
  • Monday: PARTY PARTY PARTY >=D. What else can I say? Oh, yes... I forgot to go to rehearsals ^____^' I DIDN"T EVEN KNOW >.< !!!
Tomorrow will be the Year 12 Concert, so I'll be blogging about it tomorrow =D. Hopefully I'll be able to upload pictures soon xD! Oh, and THANK YOU Vicky for paying the bus fares for us and THANK YOU Mrs. Mirachi for buying us Italian desserts for us xD!

PS. OMG! I saw Mimi in a skirt today *GASPS* =D !!!

single ladies night

O7O2O9 - Katty's 17th Birthday.

At 8:3OPM, Titan, her mum, her auntie and I went to the Vietnamese festival, which was held at Fairfield City showground. I clearly remember the temperature was 29 degrees before we left my house, and it still was when I came back. The showground was larger than the race court in Warwick Farm, however there wasn't as much 'thriller' rides as usual. The love express and the rainbow were missing, however gravitation and worm (aka. 'mouse trap' according to Titan) filled their places. Overall, it was okay. We met a number of people there, had our fair share of rides, and enjoyed the night as much as we could. The one thing that was bugging the both of us was the amount of soft toys there was. Of course, it was a festival, so there would be a lot of them. But what was irking us was the people who had them. They tend to be girls with boyfriends. It was obvious that the girl would ask for a soft toy, and then the boy would do whatever it cost to get them one, or two. Titan and I just felt bummed out for neither of us had a boyfriend. *hint hint to the title* Oh wells. We didn't have any alcohol, but it sure looked like we did when we left. It was same old thing like every year. I don't think I'll be too eager to go to next year's one LOL!

our years differ

26O1O9 - Julie P.'s 17th Birthday.

So another year at high school again. Oh sorry, let me rephrase that again. It's our LAST year in high school. *sigh* Quite depressing really, yet exciting at the same time, you know, being the oldest grade, have the most responsibilities, being the top priorities to the teachers and etc. It's strange looking at the year seven, how they always make the same mistake where they hang around the front of the school, for a week or so, and then get scold and be sent into the quadrangle. *cough* Actually, that happened to us too, for hanging around the girls' senior toilets in the morning *coughcough* Whatever. LOL!

I digress. It was a busy week for me, and I'm pretty sure it was a pretty busy week for everyone else. On Monday, it was Australia Day and Chinese New Year. I was obliged to visit a festival, in Merrylands, for Australia Day and observe the activities of a sound manager. We, the volunteers, were giving privilege to go backstage and watch the band play. We managed to differentiate the sound frequencies between the front house speakers and the monitor speakers (speakers for audiences and speakers for the band). My senses tingle at the sight of ponies and horses, making me yearn for a ride on them, even if I was 5 years above the age of what you would consider as 'child' and weighed 40 kgs at that time. Alas, my mother preferred us to leave, to reduce the risk of receiving 'bad luck' during the event, since it was CNY and all. You know, CNY actually last for 15 days, but since we're in Australia, it only last for one day; but for the Asians who live here, they celebrate it for at least a week. That's why, even today, there were lion dances, fireworks and performances for CNY. Oh yeah! Julie P.'s birthday is on the same day as Australia day. I wonder if that's a good thing or not? But she's extra lucky this year, since CNY was on the same day too!

Another day passed; it was Tuesday. I had a meeting with the TAME leaders (from the Bring It On festival). There were some trouble since the room wasn't initially booked, so we had to wait for the coordinators to fix it. I guess we weren't being such a library-loving group due to the noise pollution we created upstairs, so we faced the consequences of getting kicked out of that area. Oh wells. I think most librarians can be so grouchy and sensitive O_o. Anyways, our meeting last about two hours before it adjourned. I got to meet the other leaders of TAME, which was cool! It is such a small world, don't you think?

I welcome you, Wednesday morning. Yes, the day we go back to school. Amazingly enough, I woke up before my mum did. I think it was because my bad habits I inhabited during the holidays. It's amazing what 6 weeks of holidays can do to you. Alas, I had morning classes that day, so I arrived early to school. Funny enough, only 5 other students were there, with me, for the class. That's okay =). I was grateful to see everyone again, especially the ones that were on vacation during the holidays. Julie and Kelly were generous enough to get souverneirs for us. MWAHAHAHA I guess I was greedy with the cookie AND the keychain xP. I couldn't help it! One was a short-term souverneir, and the other was a long-term one. HEHEHE! Kelly's one was much more natural and thoughtful =D. She actually gathered dead sea coral for us! How sweet is that? Yes, it almost seemed like we never were on holidays actually. I'm quite okay with my timetable because I have a free period on the last period on Friday, and we get to go home! How awesome is that?! I know it's not as good as going home early as a Tuesday afternoon, but it's good enough for me =).

The next few days were filled with work, work and more work. Oh, we got some of our assessments back, and we learnt that there isn't going to be half yearlies for Biology or Chemistry. Rather, they are going to make us have heaps of topic tests, even after the trials. Oh wells. I feel 'emotionally stress' already within the first few days of school! It's only the first week of the year God damnit! Kelly and I volunteered to help fund raise for Valentines Day, which is coming up. *shivers* Couples domination I tell ya! Couples domination! Think about all those single, lonely hearts out there! Think about me! ROFLS! I'm fine =). Ngeh, who needs to be attached LOL! Oh yeah! Let me tell you about the school canteen! It's cheap. It's healthy. It has a wide variety of food. Besides the slightly slow paying part, it's awesome! I guess the lunch ladies just need to get use to the register =). I wonder if they would have a different culture food for each month or something. It would be so authentic then! Oh, they have new buildings in F block. Some of the year 12s were thinking it was quite stupid how they demolished the building in F block years ago, and then make 2 new ones now. Oh wells. I guess it was because the one, years ago, was an art room and not a lecture room. These changes actually make the school a better place. Just a little bit =).

Initially, we were thinking of making a cake, but misunderstandings and events occur, so we're delaying it to next week... again! Titan and I rendezvoused at Cabramatta and watched Zak, and his crew, perform lion dances, and how they competed with the other team. We did a bit of shopping ourselves, too. It got pretty tired, and we got hungry, so we ate at the Sushi Bar. We had trouble finding Zak the second time, and ended sitting at the corner of John Street, waiting for him to pop up sometime. Of course, we managed to meet up with him again. Then we caught the bus home, and went to Titan's house. We made a trip to Officeworks, and then I got driven home, by Titan's mother. What a tiring day, but it was fun! We bumped into a lot of people today like Katty, Tracey, Raymond, Tu and Henry. I don't remember who else we saw, but sorry if I didn't mention you xO!

That's enough from me now! It's a week's worth of events! TOODLES!

bands bully sound managers

"Not always, but it does happen," said George. He repeatedly reminded us at the sound and stage setup workshop, just yesterday. Although it was 36+ degrees celcius, extremely difficult to get there, continuous bickering with mum, taps not wokring in the toilets, minimal amount of toilet paper, no air-conditioning and I was sweating my pants off, it wasn't that bad. George was funny and easy to commincate to, and he enlightened us with the neccessary information without making it sound too serious. Besides, we had free drinks and got to know each other. Moera was there too, and she was entertained by our sudden antics when George 'accidentally' blasted the speakers off! Figuratively speaking, of course, but he did show us some speakers that DID pop. There's still plenty more workshops to go to, but that's okay. At least now, it's more convenient for us due to the changes in timetable. The workshop's okay, but OMG! The place is practically isolated in the middle of NOWHERE! I really do wish it was actually closer *sigh*. Oh wells. This year is surely going to be a busy year. Hopefully, with pressure and stress on me most of the time, my body and brain will acknowledge that it's running against the time and act properly and well, like what a HSC student should be feeling. Anyways, everyone, if you live, or live close to, Fairfield, please participate in the 'Bring It On festival!'

drink to celebrate

O7O9O8 - Christopher's 17th Birthday.

Yesterday, Titan invited me to a friend's birthday, called Khan. When we got there, it was a bit awkward since I didn't know anyone. We offered to help with the cooking, so we helped cook spring rolls. Khan's female cousin is also called Khan. I guess it's a unisex name =).

Anyways, I actually ate a squid! Something with tentacles xO! It wasn't nice but at least I faced my fear of tentacles xO! Anyways, Kanh's friends came over at about 4 PM. There was George, Jason, Vinh, Alfred, Michael and Adam. I tried to lighten up the mood by telling lame jokes, but it didn't really work. Oh wells xD! Everyone was drinking beer, so I had a bottle myself =). It wasn't bad, but I think it's a bit too bitter for me, but I still drank most of it anyways because I didn't want to waste it. MWAHAHAHA I spiked Titan's drink with a little bit of beer ROFLS! But, at least was only beer, and that I spiked it and not other people spiked it xP. But it was stil bad of me. My breath smelt of beer and I started to panic because I was scared that my mum would find out. George was nice to give us chewing gum, so I don't smell like beer nymore. Michael was the most drunk out of all of us! Adam had to look after him. We had some cake and played different card games. George helped me with the game 'six.' He was good at bullshit as well!

Titan, Kanh and I walked back to Titan's house to give Titan's mum some of the BBQ food. THANK YOU TITAN for your jumper, because it kept me really warm xD. Oh yeah, they had a white maltese called Lucky =). It was so cute, but it got my clothes dirty. Well, it's my fault for holding the dog when it was wet from the rain.

Anyways, we went to the moon festival and watched the fireworks. We played a spinning ride and I saw David there lols. I threw my hands up and screamed xD hahaha! It was fun! For the first time, I didn't feel scared! Michael, Titan and Kanh (female) felt dizzy from the ride LOL! But they got better. Anyways, we went our separate ways, and went home. What a night!

hello & goodbye Pope Benedict XVI

You know, the holidays were pretty busy, for the second week anyways. For the first week, all I've been doing was playing Maple Story and calling up EMG to ask about work for WYD. Finally on Monday, they sent me my roster. Hence, for the second week I've been working at Barangaroo and Randwick for WYD.

On Thursday, I got to see the POPE! Well, technically, I saw him on TV where he was located. I couldn't see him properly with such a big crowd. I regretted not bringing my camera but I was afraid that someone would steal it. However, I DID see the POPEMOBIL! YIPPEE! I think it was also on Thursday that Leonora and I took the train home while the others tried to watch ' The Dark Knight' when it was first out, at IMAX. Unfortunately, the tickets got all sold out. Oh yeah! We had to walk the long way, with the pilgrims, and we had no idea why! Anyways, we met these two volunteer guys on the train as well and Leonora was happily chatting with this old man. We were all laughing and joking around. Strange enough, the old guy pretended to pick me up O_o' dot dot dot? I just laughed it off. Of course he was joking, he was a father to a 12 year old girl and a husband for God knows how many years. LOL! Anyways, the younger man took the keyring that Leonora supposedly 'borrowed' from the shop. LOL! It was still fun. I was a bit nervous around the two guys when Leonora had to leave me, but I was fine LOL!

Anyways, I didn't work on Friday because I didn't have any shifts that day, though some of my workmates went anyways for the sake of being paid LOL! So, on that day I went down to Bondi Junction and Jeffrey and I watched Mamma Mia with his family and her friend. Mammia Mia was pretty funny to watch! My mum actually wanted to watch i
t. Oh wells. I offered to watch it with her again but she didn't want to waste any more money.

On Saturday and Sunday, I worked at Randwick race course. It was the communion event, or something like that. It got pretty busy, no wonder we got paid time and a half. Some people actually slept over in the tents! I wouldn't have been able to handle the cold. On Saturday night, Reuben, Sarah and I went to Market City to watch 'The Dark Knight.' Let me tell you, it was AWESOME! I would rate it 9/10! I screamed a bit in some parts but overall, it was FANTASTIC! MAGNIFICENT! EXCELLENT! BRILLIANT! If you can think of any other words that can replace with the words above, please feel free to add it in because it was so good that there's no words to describe it! Heath Ledger was such a GREAT actor in the movie! He played the Joker. Compared to Batman, he seemed to have more attention than him LOL! How unfortunate that we lost him ... I guess there's not going to be a sequel to the movie... unless they decide to replace him. HOW CAN ANYONE REPLACE HEATH LEDGER IN THAT MOVIE?! NEVER!!!!!!!!!!! However, we missed out the last 5 minutes of the movie because we had to take Reuben back to the station because he didn't know how to get back and his last bus was about to come soon. I guess it was a good thing too, it was 12 something when I got home. My mum was pretty worried and displeased ^____^' oops. I promised that I wouldn't stay out THAT late anymore *sigh*.

Pheobe and I at Randwick.

On Sunday, I spent my afternoon with Ralph and Pheobe. We ate and chatted away, telling each other all these lame pick up lines and jokes we've heard before. It was fun! Unfortunately, it was our last day to work at WYD. On Wednesday, WYD officially ended. Overall, it was a great experience, to be able to witness all these different cultures coming together for one event and how they were proudly waving their country flags up high. It was magnificent, especially when the Pope came to Barangaroo. Silence in the crowd, only the majestic symphony playing in the background, signaling the pilgrims that the Pope has arrived. He was on a boat where water was sprouting out. Of course, it was from the sea. I don't think they would be that wasteful to use fresh water JUST to decorate the boat the Pope was in.

Ralph and I at Randwick.

I made so many friends from WYD like Reuben (I'm writing his name first because I forgot his name ... ONCE! Only once!), Sarah, Susan, Leonora, Jenny, Samanta, Susanna, Ravi, Ralph, Jessica, Crystal, Pheobe, Cindy, Gillian and lots more! I hope i'll be able to talk or see all of you soo! Just to tell you, I could've taken more pictures of everyone but it was so busy so I couldn't. Besides, I only brought my camera on Sunday. *sigh* What a shame!

Multicultural Day

Yesterday was Multicultural Day at our school. Titan and I went to school at about 8:OO in the morning because we had to get ready for the concert. Tien and Sarina were already there. We went to the waiting room to get ready and watched the other performances. I went with Linh, Raymond, Daphne and Vivian for their performance because Linh told me that she needed me to help her turn the pages for her piano part. However, Mrs Movillo volunteered to turn it for her so I kind of embarrassed myself in the spotlight T_T! Damn Linh! Anyways, I helped Sarina with her make up. It was kind of hard to put make up on her because 1. I wasn't used to using Titan's make up and 2. she had a detailed face so I wasn't sure how to put the make up on. After all, I'm not a professional. In the end, I gave her rosy cheeks and she didn't like it because she thought it was too red. I thought she looked adorable and healthy looking. Adorable as in embarrassed, blushing like. Oh wells. Anyways we performed 4th. Our song was Kimigasuki. Tien, Titan and I were suppose to sing but then Tien backed out, then we all didn't sing because it was difficult to sing and dance at the same time with our umbrellas. it's okay because I think we would've been too scared to sing anyways.

Sarina, Tien, Titan and I.

Sarina, Titan and I decided to not go into the fashion parade because we already went on stage. Minhky and Stiffy won the fashion parade. They were dressed as Scottish people. They looked so cute! Their group was dressed as couples (friends) so that it wouldn't be as weird with only one person dressed as that country. Kelly, Ivana, Susan, Jessica and Antony sang for the fashion parade.
Linda and Chris as French people.

Kelly, Denis and Jordan.

Stupid Miss X stepped on my kimono hard and she didn't even apologise! Our year 11 band (Kelly, Atony, Jessica, Kit, David, Susan and Wattey) were extremely good! The year 12 dancers were real good too! They danced to thriller and their makeup and costume were awesome! Don't forget Susan. She was fabulous! She was dressed so nicely and her voice was angelic!
Daphne and Ivan (part of the yr 12 'Thriller' group).

The rest of the day wasn't bad though, it would've been better if it wasn't that short and the year 11s didn't have to work for our last Multicultural Day. Anyways, there was actually archery! Cathleen, Jenny, Sarina and I waited in line for it. It to
ok quite a while so Jenny left for her session. Cathleen went first, then me and lastly Sarina. We had to rush to our sessions because we were running late. I got a prize for getting the arrow in the red section. I was so happy! I got a lollipop and a makeup bag. The cover had a pretty pattern on it. My shift was all the way in the hall so I had to take a while, since archery was in F block (they were at opposite ends). Anyways, my shift was ice cream and Vi and Bunthi was working at session 2 with me. I wanted to eat a Tirumisu cake T_T! I had 4 coupons left O_O! I guess I didn't get to us it all. After the session, it was the karaoke concert. Third place was Bunthi, second place was Susan and Wattey and first place was Kim. CONGRATS TO ALL OF YOU GUYS! Jessica G., Kim, Thi, Lisa and Jason performed 'Hit me baby one more time' by Britney Spears as a joke. Mr. Rule, Mr. Taylor, this singing teacher, Susan, Wattey, Kit, Bach and David performed a song called 'Old School Rules.' It was a pretty fun day!

Julie and Maylina (she's dressed as a Thailand person).

I was really busting but Julie said it's better to not miss the bus than miss the bus. She got me there. Huynh and I went walking around Cabramatta to wait for our bus and people were looking at me. It was so embarrassing! Now it looked like I was an attention seeker. It was because I didn't have a bag big enough to put my kimono in so I had to wear it. I had my mufty clothes underneath the kimono, so I was getting pretty hot while walking around Cabramatta. Oh wells, that's all over now =)! YAY!

rainy winter

Many things have occurred before winter began. For example, Titan and I went to an art exhibition of Matthew Hyuhn and his group of artists. Did you know that he was from our school and came first for business studies, in the state, but gave it up for art. Their artworks were oh so cool and interesting, as well as cute!

Wall artwork.

I saw Jessica, with a friend, going to a piercing shop. She said that her friend was doing his tongue. I haven't seen her since Amy's birthday party. It was surprising to see her here in Cabramatta after all, she does live in East Hills. Anyways,we also saw Andy, with a friend, walking home. I've also went to dance lessons, with my cousin, and boy was it tiring?! I finally know how to do proper sit ups but... I'm now having trouble with doing proper push ups T_T! Anyways, in grade sports today we learnt how to tumble in the water =D! I wish I can play around with the flippers. It was extra cold today and my pants, shoes AND socks were went. I couldn't zip up my pants because they're broken. *sigh* Anyways, due to the rain, we won't be having the athletics carnival tomorrow. I believe it is postponed... I hope it is anyways. Hence, we need to prepare for our Ext. English debate! NO! Luckily, we're the last group to debate. *sigh* I'm the third speaker of the team so I guess I'll be doing a lot of rebutting and reinforcing my team's argument. We don't even have a proper team line yet! By the way, the international students leaves tomorrow meaning, today was their last day. What a shame to see them go, especially on a rainy day like this.

Trang and Kelly.

Loyee, Cindy and the Vietnamese students.

PS. Sarina showed us the kimono and it was oh so COOL! Sarina's so good and home-made things! xD
PSS. The students were from Minh Kai High School in Vietname =).

slow and steady wins the race

3OO4O8 - Fianna's 16th Birthday.

Today was Cross Country so we only had lessons for half the day. David handed out the awards for participating in the 'World's Greatest Shave' so now I can use it in my job interviews. I think I'm doing to try out for Maccas with My Linh, if I'm going to be THAT desperate.

Me and Annie.

Anyways, I'm so happy today. Do you know why? I'll tell you why. I cam 4th in the Cross Country!!! Can you believe that?! I mean it's the best position I've ever been in. Maybe not exactly the best time (20:16) but the best position in high school! But I actually don't know if this is really my best because many people didn't try this year, especially the people that are really good.Three examples are Zhuyu, Wattey and Annie Ha. They were the top 3 last year. Anyways, when I began the race I wasn't thinking of winning or anything, I just kept it steady. I try not to be under pressure by other people running pass me. I think I've developed this calmness from this TVB series I'm watching, which is called 'A Journey called Life,' and the male protagonist does training for the marathon and he talks how you should be calm and keep it at your own pace, etc. HaHaHa! I can't believe I'm actually listening to a drama LOL! Anyways, it did work for me! That's the point isn't it? I wasn't even expecting that I would come 4th. I'm also happy because I've actually jogged for 3/4 of the whole length (approx. 3KM). Anyways, Allan and Eric was walking for their heat so they encouraged me to continue because we were all about to finish. So we all ran to the end together =). In the end, Parkes still came last/fourth. Oh wells. Lennox won the whole thing this year. It was Lennox, Bonham, Horsley then Parkes. Later on, we saw lisa G. coming and I called out to her. A second later, she trips in front of the rest of the school. I felt guilty and Eric accused me of jinxing her. I didn't mean to xO!!! Anyways, she's okay so that's a good thing =). WHAT A SURPRISE! Kelly came 2nd! She was training with Minhky and Danny this holidays! I wish I trained with them. It's actually quite good for me to get 20 something minutes when I haven't even trained for it. I'm so proud of her, as well as surprise! Danny can 1st and Minhky came 2nd. Tracey, which is Kelly's little sister, came 1st for her age. Kelly said she didn't even do anything in the holidays. This proves that she just has natural talent. Good for her =D! Minh said that it runs in the family. I think so too =D! Anyways, Minhky was going deaf from Jenny, Annie and I, but mostly Annie.

Annie's braids, by Bich =).

AND Bich does really nice braids. She did Annie's hair and it was really nice, except it might have been a bit too loose because it fell out in the end... or maybe Annie was just moving too much? Who knows xD! We sang the birthday song a couple times because there were some people's birthday today, and we sang extra loud to Fianna since she was close to us ROFLS! How embarrassing for her LOL! OH YEAH! Christina gave me 'Coffee Prince' and I'm so eager to watch it except... it's in manderine so I'm kind of having a hard time understanding rofls! Who cares xD!

Fianna the birthday girl!

PS. I now owe Zhuyu $1.OO because I bet that she would run, just like last year.
PSS. Happy Sweet 16th Birthday Fianna =D!!!

Bring It On !

Can you believe it?! It HAILED yesterday! ZOMG! Okay, okay. So it wasn't raining earlier in the morning. In fact, the weather was quite nice!

My cousin, Marina, and I went shopping at Bondi Junction. Well, more like she was shopping and I was helping her choose the clothes. I practically had to drag her away from the shops ROFLS! Anyways, it started to rain when we drove to the dance building. Marina and I were talking about our situation and how I kept saying how it would be her fault that we're late and etc. In the end, it was my mistake. We weren't late because the lessons doesn't start until 2:00PM. I thought it started at 1:30PM because my cousin kept on mentioning that time.

Anyways after the lessons, my cousin drove me home. Then, my mum drove me to the 'Bring It On' festival. I saw Cindy, Stephanie, kelly, Minh, Karmen, Shirley, Shirley, Lisa, Anna, Cindy, Julius and Luu all volunteering to help out with the festival. I regret not signing up. It's just that on the same day when people signed up for it, it was my friend's birthday party so I couldn't go. What a shame. Oh wells. Anyways, first I tried to look for Cindy Tan but I couldn't find her so I helped Kelly and Minh sell the drink 'Rhinos'. Let me tell you, it tasted really REALLY weird. And I mean it in a bad way. Later, when they finished, we all went to the stage to watch people perform. I wasn't allowed backstage because I wasn't part of the crew but luckily, kelly was with me (excluding the fact that there was a fence between us). The volunteers went and got signatures. I wish I had a pend and paper with me *sigh*. They were giving out freebies as well but I couldn't be bothered getting them. I made a friend called Mark, which is actually Cindy Tan's friend. It actually HAILED later on and they had to stop the concert because it started flooding. The water was FREEZING COLD! xO! I know because I was wearing thongs T_T! How stupid of me. But how am I suppose to know that it was going to flood into they shelter! Hence, the the whole thing kind of stopped. I knew 13 was a bad luck number. It was the 13th of April on Sunday! Anyways, Mark and I helped out with the stuff even though neither of us were volunteers. That's okay. I didn't mind, but a thank you would've sufficed =/. Oh wells. I'm planning to volunteer next year! Cindy's mother was nice enough to drive Julius and I home. Julius lived close to Cindy anyways. What a tiring day.

PS. STUPID FOOD STORE! I ordered a chicken swish (or whatever it is) and I saw it on the board for $3.50 but when it's done, they said it was $6.50, so I asked Julius to help pay for me. Now I owe him $2.50. Damn, I should have asked my mum for a bit more money *sigh*.

WGS !!

2OO3O8 - Joanne's 17th Birthday
2OO3O8 - World's Greatest Shave

It was crazy. CRAZY I tell you! The whole day was busy for people who participated in the WGS. In the morning the boys went into the girls' toilets to colour the people's hair, which are the people who participated in the event. My hair was red, hot pink and blue.

At recess, we gave Danny Ku's his belated present. It contained : rabbit + chocolates, t-shirt with words written on it, purple and black plaid hoodie jacket, bueno's chocolates, a book : the joys of ENGRiSH, and a black beanie. Some of these have meanings behind it. Black beanie : for his bald head and wool relates to sheep, which relates to him. T-shirt: the words relate to him. The front says : I AM SUPER KIWI! and the back says: KISS MY ASS. Book: he likes weird things. Annie and I put a LOT of effort into these presents. More on the physical side than the mental side though, but still! Danny better appreciate it! LOL!

Danny.

Danny and his presents.

Katty and Danny.

Annie, Bich and I managed to get our English presentation over and done with. All I have to focus on is the Chemistry assignment, Maths assignment and another English assignment. *sigh*

Me and Annie.

At lunch, we all went to the hall for the WGS event. there were some people outside that's colouring people's heads, while majority of us were inside the hall, watching people shave their heads. Of course, all the participants were males. They were : Daivd, Darren, Jovin, Patrick, Mr. Sannanikone, Mr. Ward, Mitchell, Nathan, Ample and Danny. Thanks to Kelly 2.'s dad to help shave the people's hair. Mr. Donohue and Mr. Ward helped shave the people's hair as well. Unfortunately for the Mitchell, who couldn't manage to wash off ALL the dye in his hair, was in pain for majority of this shaving period. All of us were sad and scared for Mitchell. The dye stuck his hair together, so when Mr. Ward shaved his hair off, it pulled other hair out as well, when it's not suppose to. It's suppose to be shaving, not plucking - if you know what I mean. So Mitchell went to Kelly's dad to shave it off instead and that was MUCH more comforting than the other one. Darren was also upset about his bald hair. Not because he was in pain, but because he missed his hair.

The boys that shaved.

Mitchell Bald - he suffered a LOT of pain for this event.

We had music along with the shaving. I advised David to put some happy music in, or rock songs, so it wouldn't be as grim? Of course, it didn't turn out grim at all! Everyone was cheering the people on. I'm VERY PROUD of them! I'm sure they've made the whole school proud of them too! *ROUND OF APPLAUSE* David spend almost $200 on the cans, and majority of them are still full. Some of them were taken by same of the participants. For example, me =) LOL! Anyways, THANK YOU to the WGS and their hard work!

The WGS group.

THANK YOU to THI AND DAVID for their hard work.

David.

Thi (with Cindy in the background).

We painted a smiley face on Mr. Donohue's head without him noticing LOL! Thomas and I coloured Minh's eyebrows LOL! Thomas was blue and I was red. The red part looked better, which was my part. The blue one was dripping. Of course, we wouldn't do it unless we had the permission of the individual : Minh. So he can't blame us for anything LOL!

Minhky and Kim - he attempted to wash it off with Kim's help. xP

I waited for an hour for Anthony so I could spray his hair for donation. *sigh* Then he walked me home, then to Linh's house. He had Tae Kwon Do pratice so he couldn't stay long. Overall, the day was FUN! YAY! Long Easter weekends!

My work of art on Anthony's hair.

PS. HAPPY EASTER EVERYONE!! xD
PSS. HAPPY BIRTHDAY JOANNE!! xD
