So on Michael's birthday, we had a birthday party/after party of Minhky's birthday party at Thanh's house. Honestly, I didn't really thought I'd be able to go since I was suppose to do some RSPCA volunteer work at uni that day. Unfortunately, my alarm didn't go off so I ended up sleeping in *sigh*. It was obvious what my other option was: partying at Thanh's =).
Course I didn't want to go empty-handed, so I drove to Stocklands and got Michael a gift from Jay Jays =). Ah... Jay Jays.. who didn't love that shop?
It was odd to see a small amount of people at the house, but then again since there was alcohol, people would prefer to arrive later at night. Oh, and speaking of alcohol, I finally had that shot of vodka with Thanh, as promised. It burned. Like hell. So I sculled down the rest of his bottle of coke to stop myself from choking and hitting the poor fridge =). Now, who the hell would even want to take shots of that?!
I was upstairs, in Thanh's room, playing games and all. Not that I didn't want to socialise, but it was quite cold downstairs. Though, nothing happened much. Kelly demonstrated her musical talents, eating, talking, youtube surfing, Eric and Vicky playing 'Army of Two', again lol.
Since I left around 10, with Shirley and Maxine, if something good happened afterward, I wouldn't have known about it. Thank you to Shirley's dad for driving me home =). Anyways, during my time there, the only funny thing that happened was when we were watching videos. May I say, this was the MOST ANNOYING video I've ever watched:
Big Booty Bitches.
I would also want to say that watching drunk people on film was hilarious however, when you were the drunk one getting captured on film... it would be the most embarrassing moment ever. Although I was acting quite like an idiot, I still don't agree that I was drunk. Tipsy, yes, but not drunk. For example:
Julie: Are you sure you're not drunk?
Fiona: I'm not drunk, I'm just really happy *big smile*.
And I was. Just because I was singing loudly, talking loudly, hugging tightly and laughing loudly doesn't mean I was drunk =). I'm sure I could do all that even when I'm not drunk =D.
I got home at around 11PM, which was a first for me. On weekends, or at parties, I usually arrive home at around 12PM/1AM. In a way, I felt good for going home before 12PM, for once =).
Sometimes, I question what the purpose of a party is.
